    Did a little research and found this kit can only be used on generators that have fuel pumps. Will not work on gravity fed units. If you have a gravity fed generator, you'll need a kit like the Pinellas Extended run kit that has a fuel pump built into it. Merry Christmas Gavin and all your viewers!

      Yes the pump is used to prime the fuel line getting all the air out prior but if you fill your generator all the way to the top it will work

    Thanks, if I didn’t watch your video at 1am in the morning by accident, I never would have vented the gas tank! I just didn’t think to do that and would have been having an anxiety attack wondering what I did wrong haha, same kit as yours. Yes, this is an-expensive kit but this kit uses high quality fittings allowing you to run just one generator without worrying about the unused line. The fittings are the quick disconnect type which makes it easy to put everything back away after use. I’ll spend extra and use non-ethanol gas in my Hondas. I might just spring for a propane kit at some point in the future for those times I just need the generator for a short time and don’t want to mess with getting fresh gasoline. Plus propane is so clean compared to gasoline fuel. Just my 2cents. Thanks for the videos.

    I've been running a single Honda EU2200i with the 6 gallon system and it has been flawless. It is powerful enough to run my 11K BTU a/c on my camper. Now that I have a 13K BTU a/c, I'll need to run the Hondas in tandem. I'll only need the single generator in winter. Thanks for the video. Oh, and your grass looks amazing!

    @Gavin’s Garage: I really appreciate this video. I’ve traded my motorhome for travel trailer and it will require an external generator. For sure man, With that extended tank kit you would have 14 gal of fuel to burn before having to refill which according to ecoflows website 1L of gas will make 1.35kw which would give you roughly 72kw of power from the fuel. Add the 14.4kw the delta pro setup holds youd have 86kw of power on tap during a outage. In a emergency situation youd be able to power most your essential for up to even a week before having to refuel. Add some solar panels and you can really stretch refills out. For a normal sized home there's really not much more anyone would ever need. Nice thing is you don't waste any power or fuel unnecessarily and if one component was ever to fail you should never be SOL with out power. If you ever look into adding the extended tank to the ecoflows please let us know. Hopefully the Honda cap is exactly the same as the ecoflo that would be nice lol. Thanks again for all the content man. Your a G

I believe one Honda 2200i honda can run the AC, but nothing else at the same time. Hi Gavin,
    Great videos that have been vert helpful while searching for the right home back up generator. I have a question that may be a good topic for a video. I have not had any luck in forums. I recently ran in to an issue after installing a Generac home link transfer switch. I was planning to parallel two GP3300i’s when I realized the switch requires a 240 volt power source. Any idea on how you may be able to step up two 120 volt inverters to 240 volt power source?

    • @GeneratorReviews
      @GeneratorReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jeremy,
      Thanks for watching, you can’t get 240v from paralleled 120v generator but you can use an adapter to connect to the transfer switch to power both leg.
      You will only be able to power up 120 V appliances.
      If you need to power 240V appliances You will have to get 120V/240V generator
      I hope this helps you let me know if you need any more help.
