For one thing, how reliable is the openpilot system? Did it go wrong ocassionaly? If it did, how and what actions did you take to prevent possible accidents?
@@marius19897 Until the smartphone broke, it was reiable. 😁 I then bought an official Comma Three. This device is much more reliable. I have not had a single failure so far. For the highway it is chill to drive with Openpilot. I have now bought a Tesla and miss Openpilot very much. Openpilot is much more predictable than Tesla's Autopilot. Openpilot does not make unexpected steering movements compared to Autopilot. It feels much more comfortable.
i thought you meant whether there is a difference in openpilot if you buy a lane assistant for 1k. openpilot is sooo much better than the stock Lane Assist. i currently drive a tesla and openpilot in my Seat was better than teslas autopilot.

@@lukaslotkolben1347 That is good news! I have the same car (Seat Leon mk3) and was wondering if the 1500 € is worth it. I mainly drive 90% in highway. Did you notice a big difference there? The car has LKA + ACC so i mostly dont touch the wheel or pedals, and I put a weight in the steering wheel so it is not constantly bothering me to move it - I pay close attention to everything!

I'm totally impressed by this and I WISH I can have Open Pilot, I have a 2021 model Peugeot 3008 GT-Line, it already has Adaptive Cruise Control, it also has Lane Keep Assist from the factory, can I install Comma.ai onto my car? If Yes, How? Your advice on this would be so greatly appreciated!
@@lukaslotkolben1347 I have a PQ35 Volkswagen. I had a lane hugging problem on the left side (lhd), the trajectory line totally went of the lane marking on the left side. Also the calibration button didn't work. Heared it was a model issue. So i reverted back to 0.7.4 branche.
