Edgerton I used to love railfanning over their back when I used to run the old two lanes Mainline Norfolk Southern out of Chicago such heavy volume on that line watched it rolling through Elkhart Indiana all the time.
Steve, you would have loved where I grew up at. Accross the street there was a row of houses, behind them was the tracks. Just to the right of the last house was a crossing. Nol diesel, all steam. 24 hrs a day. On a rainy dark night you start hearing the whistles four crossings to the east. It is an eery, but beautiful sound. The old farm house is still there, the tracks are still there and of course trains, no more steam. This is on the Columbia river on the Washington side. Most of the trains are heading to the paper mill. Then again I'm probably twice your age. I grew up there in the early 40's.
They hailing the mail Bro!!! Thanks for sharing, I have been a fan of Trains since a kid and now I ride my MTB around our park to catch the early evening line which is crossing under repair so they crawling thru Heidelberg,MS now! Semper Fi and Can Do OORAH Be safe on them road Bro! OUT
Nice video! You should go to Oshkosh at the drawbridge, I was working close to there and there were quite a few trains coming through there. They come in and out of Fondulac yard on main line to Minneapolis
Hey Steve looks like a cool spot for train action. Can you video more trains while you're trucking also? Ohio has so many awesome railfan spots. Thanks for taking us a long.
Nice job FSC for another great video and you definitely had a progressive railfanning day at Edgerton! Lots of GE HORSEPOWER riding the rails and surprisingly no DPU's! Cheers from Delmar, Delaware
Wow that has to be a record for trains in that short of a span . Man Jb hunt must have a big terminal at the rail yard that first 1 on this set was 95% jb hunt and the others were 75% jb hunt but that's why the rates have fell again there sending more by rail but stay safe out on the road and keep the video's coming
Right place, right time. It is no wonder railroads move so much freight. Those trains are spaced out just enough but making good use of the trackage.
Head south to film some trains!

Steve, train question: why did we see two empty rail cars?

Think about it. Every container not on a cassey will have to be put on a cassey when it is unloaded to be moved to where it is going.
Nice catches on the NS Chicago Line! That line is on my list.
The last Engine 🚂 out of the three NS is the best Engine it's a EMD so is the Union Pacific a EMD Engine 🚂 on the second train!!!
Great video Steve!
It's nice to see a video from you again, looking forward to seeing more.

Fsc railroad and wide world of trains featured in one video perhaps?

I think a flashing yellow means only go as fast as you can stop your train to a dead stop. a slow approach be prepared to stop immediately maybe??
Well it's a railroad, you kind of expect trains to keep coming on a railroad, what they do. Kind of tough for them to be coming down the road.
RIP Ken Block AKA Hoonigans.
