It represents the Maori culture of New Zealand and the First Nation (Aboriginal) Culture of Australia and celebrates all the Indigenous players in the NRL. The NRL have an Indigenous round every season and clubs have a jersey made for that round with indigenous designs. The people on the front are just pics of both cultures doing a HONGI which is the pressing of the nose and forehead which symbolizes peace and well being in Maori Culture.
