This video is very relatable and definitely keep allowing employees to bid on your auctions. It's a great look and customer's trust this business ethic.
@@treydaypnw what makes him more special than guys like Burrow and Hurts, who have already made SuperBowls? Or Justin Herbert, who’s probably leagues better than Stroud. All of their markets have dumped. Other than random low end guys who happen to blow up (and you got in at the floor), pretty much every other QB has been a financial loser from their highs, including Mahomes.
I’m sorry but Veriswap is just not easy at all to get a trade deal done. To many people either don’t respond are only want way more from you. So getting a fair trade deal is tough.
The Frank Thomas Topps RC Error was a big chase and is still a big chase. It was equivalent of a super low numbered card. The base card was extremely mass produced so whoever wanted the base had one and valued it but finding the NNOF of a the legend was and is still one of the coolest chases in regards to junk wax cards. The Billy Ripken card error is a joke literally and figuratively. Finding the Billy is laugh, finding the RC Frank is iconic.
When you guys do these shows, is that clear glass behind you in your shop, or is it tinted where you can see out of it, but customers can't see in it? Just wondering
I agree to a point. Cause the 80s and 90s was a different era. Nowadays with technology errors are much more rare, and I believe they have their place. I would not say car companies should purposefully do this. But I do believe they have their place in todays market because for the simple fact of how many errors do you really see in todays technology? Not many. I do however think it would be helpful if topps actually came out and officialized the printing on it. But I do see your argument for the older error cards.
If you ask the traders, they'd tell you that it was a fair deal Geoff. Deals are usually fair and even handed; it is rare when one person hands over the farm for juju beans. Peter Minuet comes to mind, but other than that.
That $41,000 dollar trade was lopsided. If that Jordan Love Prizm Gold was a PSA Gem Mint 10, it would be worth it and more. Otherwise, the 8 cards plus the $6,500 hundred in cash is the better trade, in my opinion, no doubt about it.
you mean 500k or ??its Def too High. Shohei isnt Dead first of all, secondly the Majority of all the Newer Cards are Easily Available... so wheres the Common Sense that a Shohei is almost the same Value like some Really Scarce & old Baseball Cards.... doesnt make sense to me at all... just if one Guy who has enough Money is willing to Pay that much doesnt mean its Really that Worth!
I am a big fan of pokemon error cards and there is a market for pokemon errors. I agree though that errors don’t seem to be as popular in sports in general.
😂😂😂I remember thinking that about madbum, felix hernandez, david price, matt harvey, jose Fernandez, nick adenhart, tim lincecum, noah Syndergaard....word to the wise, dont speculate on pitchers. Theres nothing that can crash and burn as fast in any sport, as a pitcher.
@@t-pott4504 no shit, but it’s stupid that a rookie pitcher’s value could be so high that it’s double Crosby’s. Also they act like that’s just some run of the mill hockey card.
Anyone willing to take a worse looking autograph more seriously than the value of an error card, does not respect the hobby, they are chasing a constructed narrative. But keep this energy, because it will allow collectors to collect errors to reach a lower price point.
What? Yeah, gimme the Luka Doncic plus $4,000 cash over that Exquisite LeBron James Autograph, definitely! Even though the Upper Deck Exquisite is really nice especially the auto's.
How do you decide on what one of ones are worth... I have a memorabilia maddness 2022 leaf which roberto clement part of a bat, bill mazeroski piece of bat, willie stargell, jersy, Dave Parker, bat, Barry Bonds jersy, bobby bonilla jersy, on the second side of the car has Jonny Bench Jersy, Frank Robinson Jersy, Pete Rose Jersey, Joe Morgan Jersy, Dave COncepcion, jersy and TOny Perezy Bat. its a one of one double sided. Better awesome players.

The winner of trades is always the person who traded away any QB from the last five years
Yeah, unless one of those Quarterbacks name is CJ Stroud.

I'm just sitting here wondering why there is a $41k Jordan Love card, at all.
Nuts 🤯🤷
Right!!! I agree
the total trade value is $41k, so since there are two sides to a trade it would put the Love at like $20.5k.
@@rodfan316 Got it. Question still stands. There's a Jordan Love card with 20k+???

I like error cards. I remember getting my first 1990 Donruss Juan Gonzalez reverse negative rookie. Was an exciting memory. ❤
I think t-pot deserves a raise. I want to see him make trades like these and not just for Drummond cards.
Hey Geoff, I found T-pot’s burner account
Great video. This was a lot of fun to see the trades and hear your perspectives
35 min veriswap commercial
Its literally a sponsored video for Veriswap 😂
You are correct
The No name Frank Thomas error card is my grail to own someday :)
As an operations professional, I can’t help but agree with Geoff on his error card takes. It shouldn’t be hard to print cards without obvious mistakes
was in your breaks a few days ago and it looked like employees was bidding on them. unless i’m mistaken that seems mad sus. please address this

Maybe my resolution is off but Geoff's hair looks crazy on the sides.
What about Sheree Magee error? Wouldn’t you want that?

Love the videos ❤
Stop letting your employees bid on your breaks on Whatnot. Straight scamming people
Any proof of that?
@themaoriwolverine yea I was in the breaks. And watching them bid. They don't hide it
A lot of folks doing this on what not. Sucks.
Was hoping to get something different from these guys. Smh. Guess not.
@burberrybill even when I got ac good team. Nothing but base cards nothing of value
I'm with ya Geoff, error cards just aren't my thing at all.

I know Topps chrome update red parallel was numbered to 25 the autos I think are to 5 so I can see how this could be an error
Give me The Red Shohei Ohtani’s!!! Those who know know ☝️ HINT “ RED “
Totally agree with Geoff on the Mahomes Orange Prizm. Ugly! :-)

The no name frank thomas error from Topps 1990 is cool
Paul Skenes is going to be in the baseball hall of fame i believe one day. He's a phenomenal talent.

love this content
Geoff was amped up today.
Error cards are indeed the worst. When someone is asking hundreds/thousands of dollars for a 90 Donruss whatever, it's insane.
Ye I don’t either like error cards
No one asked you
keep doing these

Anybody wondering where the 1 of 1 Curry James Durant auto is or am I the only one that rembers
Agreed with yall mostly
Not with market movers anymore??????
this series really shouldnt just focused on veriswap. they should rate trades from videos from card shows as well.
there's nothing Jordan Love can do to impress T Pot... "choking the playoffs" - how about the fact he was even in that spot
He needs to do it for more than 8 games
hes massively overpriced right now just like t-law
