You have such a great team. They guys can be trusted to get on and service the machines, whilst you, the Boss does what he should be doing - pricing quotes and getting future business in the diary.

I was changing filters on my ASV75HD. Two came off fine, easy access. The third in the rear rested on a hose. I couldn't get the wrench between the bottom of the filter and this hose. It was doing to take awhile to remove that hose and reinstall to get the filter off. After trying to twist it off manually with no success I was ready to drive a screwdriver into it and twist, but wasn't looking forward to the mess it would make.
Fortunately I had let two young guys deer hunt on my property. They worked for the water company and when they installed my service last fall one of them asked about hunting my land. They didn't have a lot of money and everyone around was charging to hunt. Good by me. Thought I might get some venison and he was a nice guy.
So here came two strong guys out of the woods. Each took a shot trying to twist it with no success. That made me feel a little better, but we still had the problem. We considered other options, then one whips off his leather belt, wraps it twice around the filter and twists it right off. Gotta love ingenuity and the spirit of git er done.
I realize it's a little different as you are paying your guys, but they look smart and strong, and happy to be working there. You and your team strike me as having that ingenuity. Thanks for video's like this that are so instructive.
Moral of the story: Be generous with others and it will come back to you.. You may not only get some backstrap you may get some strong hands and sharp minds that come in handy.

Fascinating video. If nothing else it teaches the importance of maintaining your equipment. These machines do not run themselves and need to be kept up to speed. Anyone who doesn’t realize that shouldn’t be in business. And it’s always great to see the team in action on down time. Each member not only knows his job, but the cooperation is amazing. They know that machine in and out and aren’t afraid to take on the most difficult tasks. By the way, it’s great to see Willie as we haven’t seen him in a while. He’s such a natural in front of the camera and is almost as comfortable at narration as Jon. Note to ASV: hope you’re watching this. Though you do make a fine machine - I know people who own and rave about them - there is room for improvement, especially with the placement of some of your filters. And what I found most amazing was the amount of debris removed; remarkable considering the machine is blown out after every use. Thanks for the video. I love the behind-the-scenes look.

On that band type oil filter for that big oil filter try epoxying a strip of 120 or 80 grit emery cloth to the band. I think you will find it grips better, any way that’s what I found worked for me. Like those young men you have working with you, good attitudes. Like your maintenance program , maintenance is king, maintenance rules. I repair all kinds of equipment and it mostly a result of poor or non existent maintenance. Thanks for the ride along.

hw 7young guys you have in your crew that work for you are very dependable, and sweet that they can all be trusted into taking care of the equipment while your not there and looking for jobs. Also that they all have the training and knowledge to do all the maintenance on the machines as well..

Willy I made a wrench to take filters off , it will work on that filter if you can touch the filter from the bottom of the machine while the bottom pan is off. My machine is not an ASV but I to have one that's impossible to use a store bought tool on. From the stuff I've seen you build you would have no problem making this tool. If your interested in it just leave me a response .

Is the newer ASV RT120 easier to work on?
That panel removal behind the right track has to be frustrating.

Put a thin smear of grease on the rubber seal of the filters before you fill the filters as it stops them from drying out and sticking so bad, makes life easier on the next service 👍👍

Never heard of anyone over servicing a machine, usually it's a case of not servicing that causes break downs n lost revenue.

you should try captain kleeman's method. he uses a belt around the filter, it is really smart.

I won’t buy this skid steer because of the difficulty to maintain with the hours wasted doing this. this is why I own a bobcat instead. absolutely all filters are easily accessible. watching this video just pisses me off at asv because these guys have such an awesome attitude about this fucked up way to maintain this machine.
