I know there was an instance of an Emperor’s Children warband being wiped out by the Black Templars because the EC’s were too enamored with the feeling of agony as they were cut down for them to be bothered with boring things like “fighting back”. So yeah, this statement checks out.

Problem with me and sigvald is that he shouts "for the blood god!" when he's a slaanesh servant. Slaanesh and khrone are bitter enemies. Also he says "Hail the Slaughterer"

Isn´t it amazing that the more excessively the senses are indulged, the more excessive future indugences needs to grow to cause even a fraction of past sensation. Eventually no matter what you do, you just feel nothing, only a complete numbness, a disconnect from everything. Like going blind across all senses, caged in nothingness and left only with the torment of your own insatiable hunger for more. A terrible fate.

I'm honestly not surprised that Sigvald went crazy at the end times when fighting Krell. There is indeed an actual thing called narcissist rage, which is where you push a narcissist to far and they go berserk.
As for his unlocking requirement of awakening tribes, I could see how that works. In essence awakening a tribe brings them to chaos worship, which some of those will be slanneshi based. Where slannesh crops up, Sigvald will probably eventually arrive just to see if there is something interesting to take/do/indulge or kill .
Awakening a tribe doesn't "bring them to Chaos worship", Norscan tribes worship Chaos as a way of life. When you're awakening a tribe, you're actually liberating them from the yoke of the Skaeling or Varg.
Hamza Changazi So in essence overthrowing the current ruler and setting up a puppet state instead of, converting them to chaos. Thats rather disappointing considering they call it awakening, which sounds alot like bringing them into the chaotic fold.
zombiefolklore Something akin to that, yes. Which honestly is a bit lorebreaking if you're playing as Archaon, since as you're essentially the holiest figure in the Norscans' faith. In the lore, Archaon didn't even have to do anything to get the Norsemen to join in, they just instantly caught wind of his coronation by Be'Lakor and journeyed to swear oaths to him.

He also had the town of Chamburg in Bretonnia destroyed because he once had a bottle of bad wine from there.
Mentioned that in the video, right after he left the battle with the elves after being reminded of said wine.

Why he didn't come back in AOS as the named keeper of secrets is beyond me. One would think that the soul of sigvald would be one that slaanesh covets quite closely and above others.
As much as it makes my skin crawl learning about chaos, I really miss truest evil depraved villains like this. Takes a few sittings to get through these stories at times however but we all must suffer to learn of our most dreaded foes.
Imagine a Sigvald TV series, would be hilarious.

I would have really liked if Sigvald had more fluid combat animations instead of the generic, extremely exagerated strikes all lords have. Although I have a problem with a lot of the combat animations in this game.
Sigvald's campaign is pretty brutal, dem Cannons. All Chaos campaigns I really enjoyed, except Wulfric, and Malagor.

OMS actually are reading straight from a wiki. Can't remember if its the straight wiki or lexicanum, but if you have it open on a separate tab you can see how its verbatim said wiki poorly split into 40 paragraphs.

P.S. noticed in some of the TW:W footage you were showing had Sigvald caked in gore from the battle. I know it's nitpicking and the gore DLC looks like it was hobbled together in a week, but I would have liked to see it not affect him so drastically.

The point isn't just "spoiled" or "excessive" or all the other words, many characters in art have those qualities. The point is he does those things so much that he is no longer human to the point of "chaos". So much it's against order itself.

Man I love your lore videos. If anyone reads this and knows… how would I learn this on my own? Like are there books? I have tried to figure out what else to read 1000% inspired by our dope videos but I have been unable to tell where to even start. Either way, thank you for these. You make these fascinating characters come to life in a way that I do not get from just playing the campaigns (which are awesome in their own way.)

Yeah pretty much. He was exactly the kind of person to turn down a boost simply because it might go against his idea of beauty. On top of him probably refusing a boost Slanesh would probably not want the mutations of such a boost to mar his perfect champion.
