I’ve been on California state route 71 and I don’t like the new flyover ramp being built to connect the eastbound 91 to northbound 71 since the freeways meet at an angle that doesn’t look suitable for the 91 east to 71 north flyover. I rather have the flyover ramp be built to connect the southbound 71 to westbound 91 and leave the current east 91 71 north loop connector. Do you prefer the flyover ramp connecting the southbound 71 to westbound 91 rather than the eastbound 91 to northbound 71.
CA-91 in my opinion is the busiest state route of the L.A. metro area. I mean, look how busy it is between the southern suburbs and Riverside. Even the HOV lanes may help improve traffic but not always.
It may be one of the 4 freeways of Greater Los Angeles between the west and east sides of the metro area. Another are CA-60, I-10 and the Foothill Freeway (I-210 CA/CA-210). Drivers have a choice between those 4 and they have to pick their best route. CA-91 would have been my favorite freeway between the west and east sides of the metro area and it's scenic. All freeways have their differences.
Freeway Franks made a video on it and he talked about the Boul. De La Concorde's collapse on the A-19, so I think that's why Asphalt Planet thought that It wasn't neccessary to make a video on it

The 91 Freeway is a tremendously busy road. It could very well be the most unpleasant of the weekday rush hour routes in the LA region.

I'd say it's top 3 along with I-5, and I-405
