RaxuRangerking Super Smash Bros Brawl is infamous for being basically one of the most casual mainstream fighting games in existence with the lowest speed in the Smash Bros series, random characters tripping making some deaths entirely based on bad luck, unbalanced final smashes, the introduction of instant-kill items, and Brawl removed a lot of stuff that would allow players to cancel out of move animations from Smash Bros Melee. So, basically, a lot of people don't really take it seriously as far as the fighting game community goes. Especially compared to Smash Bros Melee. Heck, one group of people even made a Mod for Brawl called 'Project M' designed specifically to make it use the physics and stuff from Melee and fix many of the game's issues... and people actually take the Mod for Brawl more seriously than Brawl itself, lol! I mean, I enjoy Brawl as a casual player, but you have to admit if a mod is considered more competitive than the actual game is, that really says something.
And this is why I like maxillian dood better, he's so much nicer to the chat and funnier then dsp and he's doesn't blame the game or his opponent for his mistake most of the time
It's Soul Calibur. One of the easiest fighting games you could possibly get your hands on. And DSP still manages to fuck it up. ...I'd really hate to see him play a game like BlazBlue. He'd probably switch to Beginner Mode, skip the story, and STILL FUCK UP LONG BEFORE HE GETS TO UNLIMITED HAZAMA.

I just love how DSP uses the Critical Edge willy nilly and neglects to use Brave Edge attacks. Hell, he doesn't even take advantage Z.W.E.I.'s E.I.N. moves. He could've at least spent a few minutes in practice mode before doing this LP.

As a "former pro fighting game player" you would think he'd understand the concept of counter hits, or of positioning, or of 8-way run. Or of priority or block stun or the fact that blocks aren't usable if you mash buttons like an invalid...
Man this video is a classic. I beat Nightmare on my first try with most characters on the hardest by mashing a quick string repeatedly since hes so slow and the AI is shit.
ManowarHeigou Same for me, I only had problems with Patroclos a, because I absolutely suck at him. So you can guess I've had difficulties in storyline, but I could still make it. This guy, on the other hand, doesn't even learn from his mistakes, he can see Nightmare's strategy, but does nothing to retaliate, even grabs are a good idea to get a breathing space and a short time to think over your moves. Especially if you get to land them when he uses those of his moves that involve him spinning, because if you land the grab on his sides or even the back, you get even more damage against him as well. That, and it let's you position enemies easily.
