What's great about this video is that it's 13 minutes of bitching and literally not one single complaint he made in this was legitimate. They were entirely all because he wasn't paying attention. It takes a special kind of delusional to actually convince yourself that the game is screwing you over that many times, and be wrong that many times.

The sound effects kind of ruin it for me though, I can't look past the sound your sword makes when you hit him, it reminds me of plastic swords kids used to hit each other with that had little plastic bits in them to make weird sounds when they were swung, and they sounded a lot like the sword in this game. What I'm saying is this fight just makes me think they're staging it in front of a birthday party.
@@lich109 I dunno. The sound effects add to the boss fight. I get the little confirmation sound that plays after landing blow after blow is a little unneeded, but by the time I got to Eldin Volcano 1, I just accepted it as is...and that made the game better for me in the long run.

To me accepting them as is would be like accepting bad controls as is and not holding that against the game because it's a part of the game. When I tune them out it feels like I'm just tuning the game out, and that's not what should be happening in what the climactic final battle of the game. It would be far better if I could turn those sounds off.

I always think the good idea is Phil at first.. since he's usually silent when he's doing good. Then I realize.. no.. that's impossible about 30 seconds in.

Aside from the blaming the game, up until 5:30 he wasn't doing bad for a mediocre gamer doing this boss on their first try without having the timing completely down. Then he went full DSP, never go full DSP. Not even halfway through, and I'm not sure I'm gonna make it to the end of this one.
I like how after his first failure against Ganondorf, it was just like everything in the game was making him mad or inconvenienckng him in some way. Lol
Its hard to play 8 hours of games and to upload them onto youtube, its more demanding than working as a doctor in the ER room or a soldier serving in the military.

This is one of the only times I can ever agree with Phil with the controls. The controls in this game worked when it wanted to. I couldn't even finish SS because the game was so fucking boring. The some mechanics they put in the game was really annoying like the shield breaking and the sprint meter. This is coming from a huge Zelda fan. This final boss looks incredibly easy. I'm glad I didn't finish it.
Each to there own, I had hardly any problems with the controls really, I only ever had my shield break once in the entire game and it was near the beginning and I liked the sprint meter. Skyward Sword is tied with The Wind Waker for my favourite Zelda game. But I know that Skyward Sword had sort of a love it or hate it kinda thing to it, Mainly due to it's controls and linear nature of the world.

mike mikeson I have to admit, Demise is really goddamn simple. It's all just sword and shield, that's it. When I battled him I actually found that when he has lightning on his sword if you just get into a rhythm of 3 blocks in a row then a single slash, you can kill him doing only that and nothing else. I never even had to use the lightning.
Remember everyone, people actually pay Phil to do this. This is his "job". Imagine going into work and constantly complaining about nearly everything. Oh, you want your brakes repaired, why because you're too fucking stupid to do it yourself? Stupid fucking cars, why can't the companies fix these so they don't wear out!??
