Haha, no chance! Fastest way to heart attacks and bankruptcy. You can’t compete with big firms churning out floor sweepings, with huge marketing budgets.
A lot of big companies make a mix up which is best for there machines to roll and not split. So they can keep production high. AA baits supply large bait firms and I’m guessing it’s a recipe from one of them.
It’s a value judgment, really. You can buy bait for £6/kg, but it won’t be very good bait. Mine costs around £8/kg, but I enjoy doing, and know I’m using the best bait, that’s good for the fish, and I catch more of them. This spring, I used bought bait for a couple of months and caught 2 carp. Started using my own, and caught 5 in a week, plus it’s a great feeling knowing you rolled it… So for me, I’d say yes, especially as I enjoy rolling (at least to some degree). I do wish I’d fill the freezer during the winter though!
One thing with home rolling is you don’t save any money, often people try it for that reason but soon find out that what you are actually doing is making a far superior bait to anything on the shelves in a tackle shop.
I like the idea of the deep fat fryer.
Can you name specific what from versele larga, i got that in my country but i don't know what to pick up. thank you
using this recipe, and adding flavours/colours how many eggs would you use ? 5/6 ?
Why can't you use 30% pdfm instead of the FM?
You definitely should start up your own company

Is the hassle worth the savings?
