- Adding a lower bumper spoiler to an already lowered Highlander gives it the look I was going for! A very simple & easy modification anyone can do at home. Here i'll show you guys all the steps & a before & after the install.

Nice nice nice. I just ordered mine. How much did you pay for it? Definitely looks stunning and way sportier. Regards to the front grill, i plasti dip them with matte black and had the option to make them gloss black by adding glossifier.

@@JJBanuelos I have the same highlander white its a 2019 I'm going to put this on mine also makes a big difference looking at it from the front makes the bumper look custom
If you clip it or the screw comes loose, I'd get some speed nuts and screws from O'reilly and secure from the underside of the bumper. Screw thru the same hole and use the speed nut to tighten it down. I nudge mine enough for it to come loose. Just a little bit of piece of mind to keep it more secure.

If you bumper doesn’t look like the one on mine then I don’t think it’ll work.

@@JJBanuelos I bought complete assembly with switch and wireing... just I am unable to open the place where extra switch space is available in the dashboard. Can I send you pictures?
Does it make any noise/ vibration while driving on the freeway?
No when installed correctly & everything is tight it makes no noise at all

I would do it they’re not noticeable enough that they would see it once it’s off

I like to look of the, 2019. I personally have a 2008 they look great too but the 2012 to 19 are just weird looking. The new models look good. Of course if you could do something about the handling I’d be happy my 2008 foot size I guess handles OK but even my significant other noted how crappy the handle is compared to our old Subaru wagon with 200 thousand miles. And the cvt oh my god don’t let me get started about that in the mountains here in Colorado. I guess I’m asking too much and these things have legendary reliability but I had to throw $600 a spark ⚡️ plug change!

It’s all in the springs, I did add the wheel spacers to make the stance wider

I have a 2014 and I want to order this but the link on amazon is saying its only for a 2017-2019.
Sorry yes unfortunately they won’t fit since the bumper design is different.

Have the same vehicle same running board I was kind of scared of ordering it but now that I saw that you installed it it looks awesome I’m going to go ahead and order one thanks for the video.

After it finally settled close to 2” all the way around
Is it possible to just fasten it with the existing bolts from the trim? I’m not too fond about having to put more screws in to fasten them in place
No unfortunately you can’t they don’t line up in the same spots. The factory one sit further back away from the trim also. Definitely would of made it easier & like you said less holes to make.
@@JJBanuelos I used the existing 10mm bolts. Mine lined up with the two bolts on the end, so guess I got lucky with that, but like you said no other choice then to screw into bumper.
Do you have to screw that 3 pieces together?
Yes, but easier if you put it together on the car one piece at a time.
