Poland is one of the safest countries in Europe. I live in Poland for years now and the situation changed for the better when it comes to safety of our nation. Ukrainians are an amazing asset to our society. They work, they don’t break the law and they are similar to Polish people in many years. War is a tragic thing and we hope that it will stop and Ukraine will win but attacking any NATO members by Russia would result in the WWIII for the world so we are very calm. We are in NATO. We have one of the biggest American bases in Europe here, we have the support of our allies in the USA, Great Britain, Baltics, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, countries in the Eastern and Central Europe. We feel a part of the world community and it gives us strength and hope. The best thing that people from the other countries can do to support Poland and our guests from Ukraine is to come and make our businesses thrive.

As you said, Poland is as safe as other European countries. I was visiting yesterday Przemyśl, that is almost on Ukrainian border and not felt in danger. It was same safe as in Kraków.

Not really true. Poland is in top 5 safest country in whole europe and like in top 3 in european union. So not every country in europe is "safe"

Of course Poland is safe! In my opinion it's probably the safest country in Europe. Plus, IF things should spill over the Pol/Ukr border, the nowhere in Europe will be safe, including the UK!

I live in Poland. My family in the US has been very concerned for my well being since the war started. Especially the first few weeks. I made sure to contact them more often then to put their minds more at ease.
Hi, from a tour guide from Poland here: thank you for making this vid, as even though there are tourists in PL, it is many many fewer than there would be and it feels almost like covid did not truly end, which of course harms lots of businesses waiting to get back after covid (I also work in Berlin, just 80 km from Poland border and there it’s shaping up to be a great season). So unfortunately, fear is creeping in. Of course it’s nothing compared to the war, but any tourist visit helps us get by and support Ukraine. Btw, the nearest battlefield (not counting long range missiles) is as far from Krakow as Brussels. Ukraine’s huge.

@@TwoMadExplorers (long story short) Japan wasn't open so we didn't get to go and we didn't get allowed to fly to Italy because we had a connection in Switzerland and we missed the booster rule by 9 days. We change the trip to Hawaii and got Covid.... so it's been interesting but we are 99% better so can't complain 😁!

Great choice to address this topic guys, thank you. I’m going to Poland for many weeks later this year, and like you, I get questions from my friends about this choice as a destination, given the current situation. My attitude is that, as an individual, the best way I can show support for and help the Ukrainians is by travelling to Poland and spending my tourist dollars in that country, so that this then flows onto supporting the Polish economy. This then contributes to their involvement with providing safe haven for those who need it. Thus, they can continue to be the heroes they are in providing the much needed help and support to the Ukrainian refugees who have spilled into their country in desperate search of safety and peace. Poland is one of the top 3 most secure and safe countries in EU. So yeah it is very safe. :) You can check statistics :P

Do not worry about security in Poland, because Poland is the safest place in Europe and because someone lives here in Poland and who? then look on the Internet for statements by people who can travel astral. Few know about it - you will be shocked!
To give yoy some honest perspective - the most dangerous city in Poland (don't know wchich one it is) is BY FAR safer that most safe city in US, for sure.

It's about Poland beeing in NATO (military alliance), not so much the EU (economy aliance). And, UK is still in Europe, wich is a continent, just not in EU, but still in NATO. Just little clarification :D
P.S. Turkey is not in EU. I know, it's all complicated.

It’s worth mentioning that Poles gave accommodation to 4 million Ukrainian refugees in their own homes. So it’s not that the Polish people just carry on living and doing nothing about war in the neighbouring country.

European Union doesn't have an army (has few military projects but it's not a military organisation). England is still in Europe, just not in the EU, UK is also part of NATO so if the war breaks up into Poland all NATO members will be involved, England as well. Sorry to be a pain, enjoy Poland guys!

Listen, my Irish friend, Poland is not Albania. It is the 22nd economy in the world Polish GDP per Capita is three times higher than Albanian. Further Poland is fourth or fifth highest payer in the EU. The EU will not protect anyone DE is sitting firmly in the Russian pocket just next to France, plus it is not the point of the EU. NATO/OTAN is the organization created to protect it's members.

Yes all European countries might get involved but immediate spill over would be in Poland not Spain I think those planes trying to get to Uk would get shot down in Poland or Germany etc.. so not exactly apple to apple… Poland Romania Moldova are def high risk for immediate spill over and bombing even tanks rolling to those countries etc…

The amount of stupidity on this vlog in one movie is shocking. In sequence:
1. Great Britain was, is and will be in Europe
2. According to statistics, Poland is one of the safest countries in the world and the current situation has not changed anything. To claim that Poland is "equally safe" is rather to do bad PR.
3. Are you afraid to call WAR a war?
It's shocking how little of this video you understood. Maybe try to watch it one more time. We say that Poland is safe with no crime and no chance of war thanks to Nato. We also say that Great Britain is not in the European Union, because they are not in the European Union. We are making videos every day promoting Poland here on TH-cam, if you think you can do a better job, please go ahead!!

1. 5:00 am - you say that Poland is as safe as other European countries, not the EU. EU =/= Europe. So no, 5:09 you are saying clearly "England is no longer part of Europe" - if you don't control what you say yourself, I suggest you watch your video yourself.
2. I don't know what kind of education you have finished, but according to what logic of NATO has anything to do with public security in Poland? Following this line of reasoning, the US should be the safest country in the world with no crime at all. This applies when it comes to military security, while people in Poland feel safe militarily thanks to the USA, not NATO, because we have been seeing how Germany and France have been behaving for 4 months.
3. The funny thing is the fear of using the word WAR. YT algorithms work to the authors' disadvantage when they talk about war? Just wait until you visit the Auschwitz concentration camp and it turns out that it was not German, but a "Nazi" camp and Poland was attacked by the mythical Nazi nation. Just such a relativization of history.
4. Oh, you wonderful people - you travel around the world and selflessly promote the places you have visited and do not profit from it.
What you know about Poland is comparing airBnB rental costs in Poland and Albania. You compare the most touristic city in Poland, which is Krakow, to some destination whose advantage is that it is located by the sea somewhere in Albania (with all due respect to this country). Another thing is that according to what you say you have paid 500 Euro for 14 days (two weeks) - that's 35 Euro per night. This is the normal price. If you say that when you were in Krakow earlier, you paid half of this price, I wonder how it is possible. I have been using AirBNB accommodation for the good 8 years and I have not seen accommodation for 18 euro per night if it was not in a 30 bed room in a hostel.
And yes, apartment rental prices have increased very much on the long-term rental market. This is due to the wave of refugees from Ukraine. Economic emigration has nothing to do with it, because before the war, there were already 2 million Ukrainians working in Poland and there were no significant changes as they are now.

He used a conceptual simplification. Naturally England is a part of Europe in geographical sense, as much as for instance Ural Mountains are. UE does not mean Europe. Switzerland and Serbia are not EU members, but who can deny they are a part of Europe?
