Selling my after a good 2.5 years of ownership, gonna miss this bike terribly! What a fantastic bike and that exhaust note is just amazing. Thank you Yamaha, a real gem here.

@@drrider100 It just had to be the MT-09, picked up a 2014 09 and it's awesome damn!

If you don't mind me asking, what exhaust did you run?

I’ve been riding for 37 years and have owned about 20 bikes. I just bought a MT-07 because it’s easy to handle, has incredible torque, a smooth engine and I was really won over by the broad seat. I would have preferred the Tracer 700 but it isn’t available in the U.S. I had a deposit down on a 2021 but since they never showed up at the dealer in January (like Yamaha said they would) I bought a very lightly used 2019.

Everything you said is spot on. I've ridden a lot of bikes in my 47 years of riding and this little light jewel is a pleasure to ride. It makes me want to ride it as often as I can. It makes my other bikes a little jealous for my time, I think.

Ditto! Except I've only been riding for 38 years. 😂

Great to ride, comfortable, reliable, looks good and heaps of aftermarket parts. Pretty much everything you'd want in a bike.
And I bought a V-Strom 650 instead solely because I do long rides and am tall.
The MT07 is everywhere here in Australia though. For good reason.

Nice bike, I passed and opted for the SV650. Less plastic, vtwin torque and a nice exhaust notes. $5,500 USD out the door.

Did you like this better than the sv650 you reviewed a couple years ago?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the same has been said in this site about the Ninja 650 & cheaper...

The ninja does not come close to the character of this bike.

I’m sure I’ll own one of these eventually, gonna need to clear out some room in the garage first, or sell another bike. Which do you think is more likely to happen?

I prefer the look of the XSR700 variant of what is pretty much the same bike. I've never ridden an MT-07, some reckon the suspension is a bit too soft, personally I can't say.
In the UK at around £6350, it is pretty good value for money.

Tested the new mt07 its true. Rides perfect. You feel 100% in control. Tested also the suzuki gsr and gsx-s love the look of those a bit more but the mt07 beats both suz in terms of ride.

  • @mindspinn311

It’s as close to perfection as possible for the price ($7500 in US), and it’s what a motorcycle should be. What’s definitely not perfect though is your audio. What’s going on here?? Sounds like you’re in the next room.

4 inline naked? waste of hp if you ask me.

    • @filoIII
      @filoIII 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@jiewa82 Yeah. Honda needs a 600-650 twin. I'd buy that, but don't care about an inline 4. It's impractical out on the road. Why needs all that power at 100 mph????

Wow this motor cycle is around $8,000 brand new sorry to hear you have to pay $119,000 in your home land. It is near perfect. i love this bike for multiple reasons

Well, this bike is really that awesome they had to go and post this video again! LOL!
Guys, take this little bike for a ride.... Just go try it!
    Doesn't matter if you ride a 250, 1000, 1400 or even a 2500!
JUST GO TAKE IT FOR A SPIN! It will NOT disappoint you! I promise!
It's an awesome ride and, as they said above, should be WAY more popular on our roads!
You want to see how it sounds with a "real" pipe on it... You know where to look...
    Nudge.. nudge.. wink... wink... 🤣🤣🤣
