I watched a miscarriage destroy someone I know. She has never been the same since. To make a mockery of such a horrible event, is disturbing.

As a 20 year old who actually struggled with their fertility and the fact my family has a long history of uterine cancer.
I was indeed surprised when I was able to get pregnant, and I was thankful.
She committed to a “bit” that is my life, trying to pass it off at a social experiment. How exceptionally cruel it is for her to mock not only women who struggle with their fertility, but women who also have the pain of having a miscarriage.
My condolences to any mothers out there who have had a miscarriage.
I got pregnant at 21 after both my son's father and I both thought we were infertile. I have not been lucky enough to get pregnant since. My son is 19. You can make fun of infertility just like you can make fun of anything but this wasn't funny. It was just cruel.
Not just women with fertility issues, but men too. My ex-girlfriend had a miscarriage 20 years ago, and us losing that baby still hurts, even in my 40's. That loss tore us apart and has scarred both of us. Miscarriages are NOT a joke, or an "experiment". I hope this girl never actually gets pregnant. She's clearly not fit for parenting.

That said, I agree that nothing about what this child did was funny. Thos was a narcissistic ploy for attention and money. I'm not a fan of so-called "cancel culture", but she's a prime candidate.

That said, there are those who are looking to be offended, and will take umbrage for the sake of complaining. Yeah I’ve had 2 children and to think the extent she went through for this was insane. She honestly never really moved or seemed really pregnant especially with a belly that size. Even when I was very early on I felt things like my walking gate change
I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant with my first child so I'm just a tiny bit further than she claimed to be. I have spent weeks feeling my little girl moving around in there and getting to know her. Even at such a young age, she's already developed a personality and it's amazing to get to know her even before she's born. Before getting pregnant with her, I suffered several early miscarriages and they were hard enough, but the thought of losing her now at this stage in pregnancy is more than I could possibly begin to grasp. It'd be an incredibly traumatic experience and my heart goes out to anyone who's had to go through it. For someone to make a mockery out of it like this is incredibly cruel and heartless. Hell, even making a mockery of an early miscarriage would be crossing the line. It says an awful lot about her that she thought that this would be funny and entertainment.

I had miscarriage during my second trimester and it was traumatic for myself and my husband. I was traveling out of state when it suddenly happened so I was by myself. We struggled with fertility before and after the miscarriage and came to the decision of no more kids. Even now when our miscarriage is brought up it's extremely upsetting for both of us. This woman clearly lacks empathy and self-awareness to forsee how many people her "fake pregnancy" would affect.
Just like people pretending to have cancer or mental illness for money - absolutely disgusting.

As someone who has seen thousands of pregnant women’s bellies, her belly was way to big for a ‘second trimester’ pregnancy.
Her belly was also clearly fake in all video, in the first one you can see her belly is leggit a small pillow it’s kinda square in the bottom and the second one it’s way too big and it’s not moving at all with the rest of the body and feels completely unnatural it’s hard to believe anyone fell for it

I can’t have children. I had a complete hysterectomy at 34 because I have PCOS, endometriosis, and Adenmyosis. I could NEVER have sympathy for someone who fakes a pregnancy. She wants a connection, well she just screwed that pooch. There’s no joke about pregnancy or the loss of a child. Especially while living in a country where pregnancy is now a life and death thing in this country.
Ngl I laid into her in a comment and felt a little better. Had never seen her before the two videos she made were recommend to me.
However, I, and many other women were recommended this. I have miscarried 4 times. I do not want to try again. I have adenomyosis and ovarian cysts. My doctor told me I wouldn't be able to have kids. Never told me I would still get pregnant only to lose them. Never explained that your chances are never 0 unless you don't have a uterus anymore.
So her faking a pregnancy for attention and then implying she lost a late term baby in the title of her next reopened old wounds for me and angered me in a way I haven't been in a long time. It made me sick.
It just makes me angrier how people keep trying to brush it off as a joke. It isn't. It's not even dark humor.
It's just a naive and narcissistic little girl trying to act like she's all grown and knows everything about the world and people in it and is deserving of praise and worship with monetary funds.

I think a part of me always knew my body would betray me because I was always more interested in fostering. I’ve held too many friends as they have cried because they lost a pregnancy. My mom who is a nurse even helped my cousin during her miscarriage and found the fetus and gave it to the paramedics when they took my cousin away. Her smile while saying all of it is what got me. I often question why good people can’t have kids but horrible people can. If she’s willing to fake a pregnancy for attention, I am definitely concerned if she ever does have a baby what she would use that baby for for attention.

The title was she "lost the baby" the context of the video that was shown was her explaining she "lost the baby" as in, the fake baby bump. Not lying about a miscarriage.

@@brendolbreadwar2671because many women who have Infertility, PCOS, endometriosis etc struggles to get pregnant, and when they do - sometimes they run into risk of having a miscarriage.
Many women who have gone through miscarriages have talked about losing a part of themselves, developing depression and even self hate because ‘they couldn’t do one thing right’ when life is just very harsh on some folks. This is cruel, and it comes off as insensitive.

My wife was killed last year at the age of 34. We were in the process of trying to have a kid. My life has been destroyed. I'm angry, sad and depressed 24 hours a day. This past December I stopped taking my heart medications (I'm on 5 different meds for my heart). I did this on purpose, hoping to die. It almost worked. When I was taken from the ER to the ICU, I was in Afib, with a heartrate of over 200 BPM and my blood pressure was 190/160. The only reason I survived is because of my fitness level. I'm 6' 6" 250 lbs. with 7% body fat and lift weights every day and run 5-7 miles per day. I admitted to the doctors in the ICU that I had intentionally done this to die. They luckily did not put me on a psych or suicide hold but told me that if I did it again, I would most likely suffer a stroke and not a heart attack and that strokes often leave you physically and mentally disabled. I spent a week in the ICU as it took that long to get my heart under control. Seeing this woman joke about a life angers me more than I can even describe. I hate to say this but I really wish her nothing but ill will since anyone who would do this is a despicable human being with sociopathic tendencies. I am in a very good place financially yet I would give away all my money and assets for even one more year with my amazing wife. She was a beloved teacher and because of her we had, and I still have, six animals who have health issues, that no one else wanted. She believed in giving chances to the animals that would otherwise be euthanized. That is how selfless she was. She is the exact opposite of this woman yet my wife is dead and this deplorable is still out there contributing less than nothing to the world.

So she chose the worst way possible to prove a point and hides behind the guise of it being just a prank and elaborate social experiment while trying to sound "deep"/philosophical in a very inauthentic manner. People will go to extremes to prove a point without realizing the extremes are not worth the point trying to be proven, especially when it can be done with a MUCH less extreme approach. Me and my ex girlfriend had a baby girl who died just after the delivery and i never saw our daughter alive. After this my then girlfriend had complications after this and she lost her ability to have any more children, 2 weeks later she had more problems and had to go back in to hospital, she died 4 days later. I had to bury my daughter and my girlfriend at the same time.. things like this video make my want to puke. The feeling of losing your love ones never go away...

Pretty sure I saw her a few months ago in a heartfelt video about a group "spending all their money on lottery tickets" and it "getting stolen" by one of the members or something. It seemed like a shitty situation until halfway through you realize it's all just a bit to ask for money. It's kind of disheartening how her entire existence is dedicated to lying for attention and making a mockery of serious topics. I'm fully expecting her to soon say someone died in an accident, beg for money for the funeral, and then a month later say it was fake and insult the audience for caring about someone they don't know.

Having a child is a very expensive process. A lot of mothers can sympathize with that, and they wished they had more financial support when they were pregnant. So, (now that those mothers are in a better position in their life) they give money or baby supplies to women like her. It's not a parasocial thing, it's women helping women thing.

She was, yeah. Her comedy was always a bit edgy, but it was still charming in its own, quirky and sorta retro way. Now though it just seems as though her brain's been cooked by all her time spent online. Sad to see...
To clarify, the Norris Nuts didn’t fake a miscarriage. Brooke really did have a miscarriage. She really was pregnant after IVF treatments. She really did lose a baby. The issue.. is that she filmed it, and filmed her children’s rollercoaster emotions regarding this very private matter. At one point her son, Biggy, even cries on camera and says he thinks it’s HIS fault she lost the baby because he had gotten her upset. In fact multiple kids have expressed concern about causing miscarriages by “stressing her out”. Biggy had a literal emotional meltdown thinking he’d killed a sibling by acting like a normal child. I believe either Naz or Sockie also had an emotional meltdown on camera because they thought they were going to cause a miscarriage because they’d gotten into an argument with their mom. The anxiety those kids must’ve been living under was intense. The issue is not that they faked it. It’s that they used the miscarriage and their children emotions towards the miscarriage for views. Most of their audience were very young kids who didn’t know how to handle the emotional content being thrown at them too. They didn’t know how to handle the emotional highs and lows of pregnancy, IVF, and miscarriages.
I hope no one joins this awful person's patron. Hope in a few months, or earlier, they come back with their forced apology

I have a severe case of endometriosis. By 27 I lost my left ovary, both fallopian tubes, and my uterus. A dozen surgeries to remove the endo tissue that scarred my abdomen and organs. I lost 5 babies the furthest along being 16 weeks before I finally decided I wouldn’t mentally make it through another attempt so my partner and I decided to never try again (soon after had to have a hysterectomy anyways).
Faking pregnancies especially faking a pregnancy loss will never EVER be defendable for any reason.

As someone that had an early second term miscarriage and doctors don't try to rescitate at 21-22 weeks, at the hospital, I was at 🙄 So the fact that this is just a social experience is so fuckin shitty. I had to get my child cremated, and she thinks this is a joke 🙄🙄

I know women who have suffered miscarriages and how horrible it was for them and their spouses. This influencer disgusts me and I hope she loses all her followers.
I don't know how I feel about this... I understand dark humor, and I sometimes enjoy it, but I've also had a miscarriage myself personally, so this whole bit just rubs me the wrong way. She seems like the type of influencer I probably would have enjoyed watching at some point, which sucks. I don't think she's a bad person, but her joke was very tone deaf.
Miscarriage is something that you really don't understand until you experience it yourself. In my case, I wasn't ready to have a baby. I don't want a baby, and yet when I had my miscarriage, I sobbed and grieved despite the fetus only being the size of a bean. You just can't understand until it happens to you.
What part of it was humor? I guess if you consider manipulating very young women and girls into caring about you and then making them feel stupid for believing in someone funny, then it was an amazing joke.

@@purphexyon I wouldn't really call it a "scam". She didn't ask for money under the false pretense of being pregnant. She only asked after she had already revealed that she wasn't actually pregnant. Was it still awful? Yes.

My ex live-in gf was pregnant, I was elated and over the moon for this kid. She knew it and it seemed she was happy... fast forward a month and she tells me she went and had an abortion, behind my back. I was crushed, it really tore me, we broke up but that stayed with me for years, loosing a kid (even as a male) being backstabed, ending an almos 5yr relationship. I was at my lowest and had started drinking... now even though she showed me the pregnancy stick, I don't even know if it was ever real. The timing for an abortion just doesn't fit the timeline. Anyway, this was 10yrs ago, been sober for years, and have a beautiful fiance whom was clear from the beginning of the relationship that she wanted a family, if I wasn't looking to have kids then the relationship would really not go anywhere. We've been together 4 yrs and she's not able to get pregnant. Meanwhile, that ex has had her first baby. We live in a sardonic cynical world. But still hoping to have that family, but time is not on our side now, being in our mid 30's.
And my bias makes me see this video disgusted.
Go see a fertility specialist or look into adoption.

I lost a best friend because of a miscarriage. Depression took her a couple months after she lost her twins. Almost lost my other best friend(her bf) too after she passed. He was devastated, his whole family gone in the same year.
It had an effect on the whole group taking turns keeping him on suicide watch. We do what we can for loved ones.

I had ectopic pregnancy and I lost my son two days after he was born. I have a healthy daughter now and it has been 12 years but I still miss my Son and still wondering what will my first child will be if I didn't had ectopic pregnancy. I get what shes *trying* to convey, but her method is so smug and backwards that it actually hurts her point rather than helps it. Shes trying to show how people often let parasociality turn a content creator into a character rather than a person, and how people get attached to an *ideal* rather than reality. But what she did is the exact opposite of that. By faking a pregnancy and a miscarriage she was actively humanizing herself and breaking down that characterization barrier by being raw and relating directly to women who have experienced the same and can empathize. In an attempt to show how people will mischaracterize human beings, she instead managed to show how empathy can serve to humanize someone to an audience...
But she still calls it all a joke and acts like people being empathetic towards her are parasocially misinterpreting who she is. She treats it as a "gotcha" and doesnt acknowledge how what she did didnt prove her point whatsoever. She couldve proved her point by focusing on the sexual comments she mentiond getting at the end, or focusing on literally any other pre existing comments shes gotten. But instead she chose to make a completely new persona to trick people into feeling bad about her. It just doesnt work.

My family went through a miscarriage. The loss destroyed my mother and dad, as well as my siblings and me. The grief that followed was the darkest time of our lives. Someone faking that is beyond disgusting. She is revolting and there needs to be consequences.
As someone who just had a baby 2 weeks ago- this is beyond childish and insensitive. My hubby and I waited 2 years to have our daughter. I had a miscarriage in the past and feared never getting to be a mom due to complications.. dont care what point your trying to make some things you just dont lie or joke about.

My mum lost two children to miscarriages and it still affects her to this day. Every year on what would have been their birthdays, she just lays in bed and cries. Lying about being pregnant and having a miscarriage is so incredibly insensitive.
She has no guidance in life. That comes from listening to your elders who hopefully listened to their ancestors. Breaking traditions and culture leaves you in a game with no rules, there is a chance that you can't win
