I was shocked, but then I remembered hes a cop. They often act like they're "deescalating" a situation but it's just victim shaming. A person doesnt need to be morally pure at all times to be a victim. Bad things happen to bad people too. Hitting anyone isnt the answer. Girl needs therapy and anger management.

men getting hit is never taken seriously (which sucks). Dont tet me wrong, both of these people are assholes but that doesn't justify her physical violence
Her dialogue with the cop gave me a headache... I can't begin to fathom how she functions on a daily basis. I feel sorry for whomever has to deal with her case/s...
Her switching emotions so quickly shows that she's not actually feeling them. She's putting on a show. At first, I thought she was really, really stupid but I think she believes that it helps her look "innocent," or incapable of being malicious or calculating. She's really disturbing and I despise that people like this live a wealthy, easy life
The cop saying "if you can defend yourself, you could stop the car"....yeah just jump onto the lap of the person assaulting you so you can stop the car. I really hope she goes to jail for a long time Edit: her face trying to calculate how to get the dude to not cooperate so they drop the charges
That cop says the guy shouldn’t have defended himself but in the same position the cop would have beaten her within an inch of her life and we all know it.
Knowing that old, self-reported, police domestic abuse study, 4/10 coppers would have beaten her because the soup was too salty or the coffee too sweet, let alone in a self-defense scenario, agreed.
They also like to yell confusing orders at people at gunpoint then unload into the "threat" because they didn't move out of confusion asking for clearer instructions
yeah wtf was that... i thought this was an outdated issue in terms of blaming a victim. By this cops logic anyone could "just walk away" from any attack if the victim shows the capacity to fight back. If this were true, there would be no legal grounds for self defense.
The cop dealing with the woman is a saint. I would never be patient enough to listen to her. She barely gave any information and was pushing him to let her go. What an annoying person.

I live in Canada and when my ex beat the f out of me i ended up going to jail for one day because i had "the nerve" to defend myself while he was beating me right in front of our child. I called the Police, they came and as soon as i said i manged to clock him in the eye i was in handcuffs treated as the aggressor. I went thru a lot in my life...but man being beaten up from head to toe, handcuffed and surrounded by 5 male officers telling me i have no right to protect myself while being attacked was one of the most degrading and defeating moments of my life...Canada you are something else girl smh...

Dudes getting attacked and the cops basically says oh well even though she attacked you shouldn't have touched her. Like what? Is self defence not allowed??
The point he was making is that you have choices. If somebody smaller than me punches me, I don't HAVE TO hit them back. I might want to but it's not like I'd be in fear for my life. I'd have the option to not engage
@720MotorWorks pisses me off that we live in a society that sets the rules of innocent until proven guilty yet it doesn't matter cause the instant a woman accuses a man of something it's instant the males guilty. This is just luck on this dudes side, he definitely would have gone to jail and she would have walked away without a scratch.
This was hard to watch her interacting with the cop. The lying, asking if she is going to jail 50 times, didn't even bring up the video evidence for a little while, and trying to manipulate everyone around her.
She is the kind of person who stares into a mirror to practice expressing human emotions. This is not a personal slam; rather, it's a feature of Malignant Narcissism. I've had a few run-ins with people like this. They will ruin your life, and then make it your fault. They are predictable and functioning three phases: Idealization, (love bombing), devaluation, discarding, and hoovering. Yes, they try to get you back after they've used you to get their narcissistic supply. It is valuable to learn about them so that you can avoid them. They are literally not capable of feeling human emotions.
I rented half my shop to this type of person. She would verbally abuse me and curse my family every single day and tell my shop neighbours I cheated her money because I was racist and sexist. When her shop couldn't generate any profit she sabotaged my shop and got me kicked out by the landlord, and expected me to return her 8k deposit when she made me lose over 30k. These people are the worst.
Prior LE here. We definitely don't wanna tell you you are going to jail. Things escalate when someone says that. Definitely didn't like the first cop assuming the dude was in the wrong. He immediately defended the woman before evening listening to the whole situation
Im glad she went to jail. I hate people like her. She just started making up things just to play the victim. "He threw me out of the car" " he was chocking me *dramatic acting*". I know hes not a good guy, but i mean, neither is she. They knew this was a toxic relationship. She knew he was just paying her to spend time with her. And he spends money on other girls he likes too. They really need to just stay away from each other.
She’s literally 40 years old acting like a 6 year old. She had parents who never once told her the word “no.” The amount of entitlement and sheer main character syndrome is absolutely off the charts…
The cop blaming him is the exact reason why male assault victim are afraid to come forward. They ultimately end up getting blamed. I hope something comes of this situation where the cop learns that doing this isnt alright.
Pretty much, if you're a dude and the receiving end of an assault from a woman 9.5 times out of 10 all anyone will do is say "well maybe it's your fault for not walking away"
I was legit stalked, ike scary stalked, by a woman for about 4 years. I gave up trying to involve police. One time when she was waiting at my door at like 2am i had the police show up. She was gone when they got there, but i told them my story, and they FUCKING LAUGHED AT ME. two dudes. Just sitting in front if my hiuse and fucking laughing at my very real real real trauma and problem that i had absolutely zero grasp of how to deal with it. MEN HAVE ZERO RESOURCES with shit kije this. I eas looking up mens only resources, and they literally JUST DONT FUCKING EXIST. one time some men tried to make a mens only shelter type thing inthink in the UK, and FUCKING FEMINISTS PROTESTED IT. i will never not speak out about my horribke injustice to me jist because im a fucking man, and i should "just deal with it" as if inknew hiw to or was capable of it. LET MEN HAVE MENS ONLY SPACES AND SUPPORT RESOURCES. PERIOD. THE WORLD NEEDS IT.
Technically he isn't wrong. In the video he never once yells at her to stop the car so he could get out and instead he just insults and threatens violence to her in return. He didnt try to deescalate or remove himself from the situation, which is what a normal person would do in a violent situation. They are both in the wrong, but obviously she is the aggressor.
I would've arrested her just for being so annoying "am I going to jail?" "so that means jail?" "I'm going to jail?" "are you taking me to jail?" "jail?" "you're taking me to jail?"
2:45ish - is that cop seriously trying to justify domestic abuse? He's basically trying to say "if she's punching you, you could have just sat there and continued to take the abuse". Wild
I feel like this lady couldn't tell the truth even if you paid her. It's probably one of the few things you couldn't pay her to do. She seems so disconnected from reality.
I'm glad we are all on board that the cop is a major asshole, "What do you mean you fought back? If she hits you in the face you take it and then leave" Without knowing anything about the situation. What a piece of work.
She would have saved herself so much trouble if she just never met in person, and kept milking this guy for every penny. Ya know, like normal unhinged streamers...
That cop is such a hypocrite. He works in a profession notorious for hurting people when they "could've just walked away". I wonder how he would respond if someone started hitting him, in or out of uniform. Something tells me he might not like it very much, and may even need to defend himself 🤯 sad that he is inflicting this judgement onto others, especially while in a place of power
Or its the fact that for decades, they have been portrayed as victims and have been given social acceptance of being violent towards men. As someone closer to their 40s, than 30s, men have always been told "never hit a woman", even doctor Phil told a man who was abused by his other half, he should just let it happen and shouldn't hit back or defend himself. Throughout the 80s and 90s, movies and TV shows displayed women slapping men for every wrong move they made and you wonder why they turn out this way? People know they're entitled a lot of the time and take advantage of it, instead of seeing it as a benefit they should respect.
Once you start attacking someone, you simply become an aggressor. You are attempting to do me harm, and my body will not magically heal itself based on your sex. A wound is a wound, a bruise is a bruise, etc. If we start basing self defense on qualifiers, what's next? Make them fill out a demographics survey before I defend myself? "Oh you are this group, so I can only do _____". Does a gun or knife not work when wielded by a woman? Even children can kill and have/do.
She acts more immature than my 6 year old explaining to his grandpa I wouldn’t get him 3 Ice creams at the ice cream truck. Her mannerisms genuinely remind me of a kid trying to get a soda from his grandparents 😂
You can’t win either way! My ex wife 👊me 4x and tried to gouge my eye out, all while driving (almost wrecked). I didn’t do a thing, didn’t lift a finger, I dropped her off at her parents. Then, when I went to get a protective order, with pictures of the bruises, Eye Dr. report saying my eye was damaged by a fingernail, a recording of her admitting what she did & saying she would lie to the judge tell him I did it to her, a witness and more....ALL COMPLETELY IGNORED....JUDGE DIDN’T EVEN LOOK AT ME/IMMEDIATELY DISMISSED! D@mned if you do, D@mned if you don’t......can’t win with douche canoe cops/judges like this guy!
I always wonder that too 😅 life would be so much different. I am a middle class dude who works for the stuff I have, but by no means am I rich at all, and it's interesting to think about
I'd just start answering "you're going to have to discuss that with your lawyer." Every time she asks a question because clearly trying to have a discussion with this woman is impossible.
I hate how the cop is trying to make him seem in the wrong for hitting her back 😂 SHE STARTED IT. Doesn’t matter if he could walk away. If I am being assaulted and I defend myself I am in the right to defend myself. He never initiated the hitting so how is he wrong?
Because women have less responsibility, accountability, and expectations of proper behavior in the eyes of our culture and laws... but they still get equal rights somehow lol. A-la-carte rights and expectations SMH, pick what you want and leave the rest... but we have to "man up" 24/7
Yea, at some point they should be allowed to tell people to shut up without being painted as a bad person... The leading officer handled it a lot better towards her in the end by implying for her to shut up or be put in cuffs on the spot. Definitely could've handled the dude better though. Glad it was filmed cause that narcissist would have dragged both of them to jail, just for being loud and annoying and shouting whatever and him being a man.
He isn't playing the same game as the rest of us. I'm pretty sure he was throwing the equivalent of the change we would find in the couch cushions at this woman.
It's insane how cops always justify shooting unarmed people but then assume you have the ability to get out of a violent situation without hitting someone back.
this lady seems so childish - "can I get a concussion from my head shaking around?" you can tell she is not used to facing the consequences of her actions
This woman is so frustrating... she apparently never learned the wisdom behind speech is silver silence is gold! I watched this entire clip muttering to myself: "shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up!"
Self defense is self defense regardless of gender. What happened to " equality"? no matter your gender keep your hands to yourself. If you don't want to have hands put on you don't put your hands on another person. It's really that simple.
That cop just told her it doesn’t cost anything for EMS. If EMS insists they take you to a hospital (which they are incentived to do,) you’ll get a bill 3 weeks later for $1500. Make no mistake
Way to blame the victim just because he's a man.. you can always walk away... No you can't. I've been through that crap, it's so complicated when a crazy girl starts swinging.

This is why men don't goto the police. Cos we get laughed at, or not believed.
Her dialogue with the cop gave me a headache... I can't begin to fathom how she functions on a daily basis. I feel sorry for whomever has to deal with her case/s...
She is a prime example how social media has ruined lives
If she got the dismissive cop who was dealing with the victim, she'd have probably been complimented before being allowed to leave.
Her switching emotions so quickly shows that she's not actually feeling them. She's putting on a show. At first, I thought she was really, really stupid but I think she believes that it helps her look "innocent," or incapable of being malicious or calculating. The wealthy easy life creates people like that. Someone like this wouldn't and couldn't exist in a place of hardship.

Knowing that old, self-reported, police domestic abuse study, 4/10 coppers would have beaten her because the soup was too salty or the coffee too sweet, let alone in a self-defense scenario, agreed.

the fact that the cop felt the need to make the victim say he could’ve handled the situation better is disgustingly unprofessional and shameful
yeah wtf was that... i thought this was an outdated issue in terms of blaming a victim. By this cops logic anyone could "just walk away" from any attack if the victim shows the capacity to fight back. If this were true, there would be no legal grounds for self defense.
He's a cop, right? Decent people don't become cops - and if it still happened by accident/naivity they tend to drop out quickly.

It is valuable to learn about them so that you can avoid them. They are literally not capable of feeling human emotions.

Some men are the same. Don’t differentiate between men and women. Both can be idiotic.
