Reveals undercut, other possible flaws, allows other passes to lay on cleanly, allows paint to adhere better, can increase corrosion resistance in some cases.
@TzNuts are you saying that because my sentence is missing the word "be" its impossible for you to read and comprehend? A 2 letter word threw you off that bad?
At any point on a straight line there is 180 degrees. So to ge a 90 I would guess you would have to shave off the other half but I could be wrong too. Maths was never really my thing.
The axe looked good but the heat treatment and temper is utterly ruined by the ark welder and creates a ton of stress points in the metal. Good enough for a decorative wallhanger but i would not trust it as a tool.
As a certified welder. To everyone out there watching this: please please don't just tack weld all the way through. It's just unskilled so unstable. I would be fired so quickly and stripped of my certification if I ever tried to get away with anything like this
As a certified welder you should know what weld is enough for what type of application. Aslong these are not structural welds and looks are more important this is totally fine.
And, if we could just junk the centralized academic juggernaut ticking everybody off from producing lazy citizens and just ignite a revival in this country of craftsmanship and start healing within and making American craftsmanship And solid work ethic mean something again, people wouldn’t be so predisposed to weep for America’s future, craftsmanship has a value.
This is wrong because points of failure are more than 2 traditional method of elbows plus pipes is the right one more no of welds/jobs more problems within any structure more unibody much better
The welding in this video is awful, particularly around 0:51 where he does the tack/cut trick popular on TH-cam. This creates terrible welds that won't hold IRL.
Alvin e os Esquilos breve vmo ne qixatise e o que eu faço é um 1⃣ que não me recordo de onde foi o e o que eu faço é um 1⃣ que não me recordo de onde foi o e o que eu faço é um 1⃣ que não me recordo de onde foi o e o que eu faço é um 1⃣ que ❤
I assume I must rate my employee higher then I do, they can weld stiff and sturdy 90 degrees angles without the extra time consuming and material waste the guy in this video do. From an ISO 14001 perspective the guy in the video is a burden.
What consistently amazes me in these weld videos is the amount of skill the welder has in using an angle grinder.
He's a beast with the grinder, but welds like those guys that stick weld with batteries and jumper cables in their safety sandals.
not only does he demonstrate great skill with the disc grinder he does it without taking the guard off like most everyone else on youtube needs to
The craftmanship and originality portrayed in this video is worth a million "likes"!
Lovely presentation skills with crisp work ✌🏻
Probably the BEST welding/fabrication video: content, photography, editing, explanation w/o words. Could be used in any country.
Love the curve on that handle
Giggity
Dude... the majority of the video was the axe. It's fantastic! Why not make that the title? It's spectacular!
Am high a/f now and that was the most beautifulest axe or anything metal I have ever seen be made
Scorpion, is that you?! 5:56 "get over here" 😂
that was really enjoyable, terrific artistic flair on the textured part too, subbed!
Man this is inspiring
There are no words, only emotions! :)
that black paint makes everything look awesome
skillful hands, well done.
Love that axe 😮
I've always wondered this: What is the purpose of cleaning the welds, besides aesthetics?
Reveals undercut, other possible flaws, allows other passes to lay on cleanly, allows paint to adhere better, can increase corrosion resistance in some cases.
good....
Very impressive I like the dog's hind leg with the wood. But what you do with the steel. That is unbelievable
hola el video está muy bueno Excelente
🤜🤛👍👏
_YUH-YUH-YUH-YUH_
You make it look very easy, one question, welding with TIG without gas?
what was the point of removing rust elctrolytically if you take a grinder to it later? Now i see for the style.
Far less grinding
Great, but music is so annoying
Famous!
Cool job🤲👍
Great 😊
Super 👍
Bravo ✌️
Très belle hache

I would use a portaband for the cuts
YO YO YO YO !!!
What welding machine are you using? I need something portable.
Yes I'd like to know too. It's looks rather nifty
Its semi automatic MiG 😉
@@polux6866 Pretty cool. What's the brand name?
Its just a MIG welder. And no, actual MIG welding looks different, what you see is fake, TheFabricationSeries did a great debung
Fine for making a picture frame but not much else. Nothing weight bearing.
goes to show you.... you can amazing at restoring an ax and terrible at swinging an axe at the same time!😜
Swinging an ax is like forming readable sentences. Not everyone can do it.
@TzNuts are you saying that because my sentence is missing the word "be" its impossible for you to read and comprehend? A 2 letter word threw you off that bad?
great job. It's a waste to cover it up with a spray.
este vato !!!!!!
Great video. First example: how do you calculate the amount of material that has to be removed to get a 90° angle?
At any point on a straight line there is 180 degrees. So to ge a 90 I would guess you would have to shave off the other half but I could be wrong too. Maths was never really my thing.
90 degree angle, 90:5=18 degrees for each cut out triangle, that’s it😂😂😂 5th grade geometry here
What’s wrong with setting the saw at 45’ and cutting once ?
It makes a poor TH-cam video
Cool stuff dude. Does the pen you weld with work on gas or electricity?
Both
The last part 😂😂😂🤣🤣😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣
The axe looked good but the heat treatment and temper is utterly ruined by the ark welder and creates a ton of stress points in the metal.
Good enough for a decorative wallhanger but i would not trust it as a tool.
What's that rust removal trick?
What's the liquid and what is added to it?
1.48 cool
Hmmmmmm you make boomerang grasshooper.

Right? Full passes mofos!
Okay

@@clonex7248 esa porqueria se va a romper
@@desolatorready2644 as I said it highly depends on the actual application

where do you guys find these beats?
There is no metalworking project at all? Like 2 mins of tricks then he makes an axe! What even is this title
Yeah. Only when it’s this thing flimsy stuff.
Waldeg msen nam ? ?
Same music loop for 10 mins?
Tacking a seam like that is not proper welding. If your going to demonstrate welding joints and such please weld it properly as well

Lot of work for something totally unnecessary.
Weak all the cuts gives it a place to break very sad
