I bc wandered during times of cleaning my paint rollers like u showed for creating power. Just turning a roller w a water hose could create such energy. Thus as a water wheel turning a grinder. Each home could bc a system using a continued pressure water turning a wheel or roller creating energy. Reusing the same water over and over. Replacing little water over time.
Glad I could help

A lot of good tips, but you will want to consult an actual electrician to see if you can get away with some of the wiring shown here. While stranded conductors are more forgiving, there are bend radius restrictions based on size of conductor. Don't think you can go bending conductors however you want and think you won't run into a problem at some point.
Additionally, you do not want to knot conductors. This will create a hot spot which can start a fire. Conductors are routed (and spliced) the way they are for a reason.
Lastly, if you are having a problem with a plug, replace it with a listed one. Inside that plug where the terminals are is a seating surface that the screws tighten onto the wire and keep it in place. If the wire keeps slipping out, it means the plug isn't working properly anymore (or it was garbage to begin with) and you have loose connections. Loose connections means possible arcing, heat and eventual failure of plug and then - possible fire.
Welcome to Creation Holic channel! What you say is very true! If you have any other ideas or solutions, feel free to share them with me! Wish you the best!
Yeah, any sensible electrician will laugh at you if you tell him the #14 tip. There is just to much "lose" there for potential fire start. Twist like the one marked as bad + a wire nut, or use dedicated stuff/terminals. If you need to do it spartan way and are scared stuff will get lose do the "bad one" and then bend the "naked twisted" part down and then tape over it, but frankly half the tips show soldering iron - solder shit if need be.
Aprendi muito com estas dicas. Sempre faço todo conserto em casa mesmo, exceto quando impossível.
Hello! I am very happy to read your comment. Have a good day!
I might try the hot glue thumbscrew, might be good for light duty tightening. Maybe melting plastic into the box wrench form would be possible to get higher strength than the hot glue.
Agradeço as dicas, direto do Brasil.

Have you gone deaf? There's music all the way through the video. Gladly it's not loud like most of the others because this one knows how annoying that can be.

#24 - If you wanna risk getting electrocuted - then test burnt diodes that way. Most LED bulbs aren't really isolated and there can be full AC "available". Also just shorting burned led will either just bring back the bulb to live for a short period of time if its capacitive dropper style (cheapest) - cause one less LED changes ratios and the rest of LEDs will get higher current + they already are "old and used". If its current drive circuit then such a fix will reduce brightness/power, and bring the bulb back to live till next LED dies of old age.
#27 - Just use anything - small wood piece, a newspaper, old telephone/credit card - no need to waste time on making a "glue cap" which will probably fall off in first try.
#29 - Ah yeah - a trick of using a tool how the fucking manual tells you too - now this is such an ingenious secret/trick. Tell me how to do that on a cheapo jig-saw that doesn't have angling ability.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Have a good day!
C'est tout simplement génial. Merci

Es simplemente una recopilación de las muchas cosas que se encuentran en las redes, de las cuales muy pocas son útiles o prácticas....
I switched off immediately when I saw what had been done to the cables at the beginning. Please don't do something like that, it can quickly lead to a fire.
Please explain???
Can you share more information about this issue?
It's the proper way to join wires before soldering, so I don't see why you couldn't do it that way without soldering and a little heat shrink
Οχι😊
Its proper name is a telegraph splice.Been used by the military for ever to repair or extend land lines of communication.I’ve used them along trench lines to connect perimeter bunkers to unit command in Nam.Radios were used in the bush and telephones used in LZ’s,Fire Bases, and unit compounds.Splice would be safe, but stranded wire is not used for residential construction anyhow. In old knob and tube residential systems(30s-40s)wires coming into the attic were T-tapped onto the line in a similar fashion and were soldered and friction taped.

Yeah, please don't. I'm a qualified electrician and this 'secret trick' made me cough out my coffee.
Why people keep making video's about dangerously poor workmanship and dressing them up as a 'pro tip' when the correct insulated connectors are easily and cheaply available is just beyond me. Doing stuff like this with electrical cables can kill you or start a fire, don't risk it.
How often is a failed led bulb just a single led?

Considering the cost of all the coke he used to fix the box he could have just bought a new box.
The goal of the video was to showcase a unique approach to recycling, but I understand that it may not resonate with everyone
So csn you tell us what powder was used with the superglue in repairing the black plastic box?
8:06 it would be interesting for someone to try seeing how much torque can be applied when tightening it before it strips, compared to a fresh hole drilled next to it.
The first one was used for telephone wires in the military. I used that technique to splice many non electrical wires.

I'm sorry to hear that the video didn't meet your expectations. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention
@creationholic101 So as not to be misunderstood: I appreciate most of the tricks shown here and use some of the hacks myself.
But when it comes to electricity, as an experienced electrician I have severe safety concerns about the lifehacks shown in this video.
#1 for example might be used for HiFi speakers or as an emergency repair if your car breaks down in the wilderness.
But I wouldn't recommend it as a permanent repair and I would definately not do it for higher voltages and currents.
Same applies for #14. Wires in general must be soldered or connected with proper connectors. If the wires are only twisted together, the transfer resistance is too high and at higher currents the wires heat up which can lead to fire.
#23 is a good idea to create a strain relief if you don't have a plug with integrated strain relief (in my country plugs without strain relief are illegal) but you should at least use wire end sleeves because the strands could be cut of by the screw which again leads to a high transfer resistance, means fire hazard.
The LED bulb repair might be dangerous. Depending on the PCB-Layout there might be mains voltage somewhere on the upper side of the PCB so fiddeling with a wire could be hazardous. The better way to identify the defect LED is measuring the resistance with a multimeter (due to the black spot it was clearly visible anyway).
Long story short: I like people who rather repair things than throwing them away and who reuse garbage for new purposes.
But since there are many people watching this who don't know about the risk, I felt like I should at least warn them.
Keep on the good work.
Greetings
Matthias

Some very nice tips in there thanks.
I could tell you don't live in the U.K. though. Wood is so expensive here that no-one has that much decent useable wood to spare for demonstrations. We used up most of our Oak Forests making ships many years ago, which is why I'm having to save up my pennies to be able to buy a real Oak Fireplace surround.
Anyway, thanks again, my regards....

I also did not expect the effects it brought
I found the mixture of silicone caulking and mineral spirits interesting as a water repellent. I am also going to have to experiment with the Cyanoacrylate and Sodium Bicarbonate, even though Cyanoacrylate is expensive. I will not be using the joint techniques with the copper wire, that is not up to code in our country.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Have a good day!
