- WebLink is a next-generation application delivery platform for in-vehicle infotainment. It leverages the power of the phone to deliver driver-relevant applications to the in-vehicle displays (car radios) in a safe manner. WebLink enabled applications to run on the smartphone and are "projected" to the in-vehicle systems.
Download the WebLink Host application from the app store onto your smartphone (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and connect your phone to a compatible WebLink car radio.
Once the connection between the phone and car radio is established, the car radio will pass it's identity to WebLink and the corresponding apps will be displayed in the "Apps" tab of the WebLink Host application which is available when the phone is not connected to a car radio. When the WebLink Host app is launched and connected to the car radio, the WebLink home screen on the car radio will show the compatible app icons.
App compatibility may vary by car radio.
iPhones with iOS version 13.0 and above are supported by WebLink.
Android phones with Android version 7.0 and above are supported. Please note that only Android certified phones are supported by WebLink as listed in the following site:

how come when iphone link with weblink, the phone must staying at weblink apps and can't back to home but android have no problem with that, u can link the weblink to watch TH-cam then u can stil using the phone on waze o others

Hi sir question, i have honda city 2021 but i believe this car has apple carplay or android auto. But only weblink works on my iphone SE 2020. Why cannot use apple carplay? Android auto works fine. Im not sure why weblink not apple carplay. It seems carplay is much better and i saw other videos with carplay with this car.

Go to settings>>phones>>apple and then click on the web link written on the right side of your phone name. It'll then change to apple carplay and you're good to go

@Motorcar I'm sure there is a way to bypass. not sure how to bypass it watch TH-cam while driving.

My weblink does not have any kind of apps
This weblink is itself a problem. It doesnt even get connected easily and doesnt supports even google map. You can see in video, no music app which we have in our phone except youtube.
Would have preferred a working demo of the applications
but i get it , privacy is important
when i will make another video about infotainment, i will try to show you inside apps aswell :)

Brother, I appreciate your feedback but you can’t watch video while driving, you have to put on the handbrake to watch the videos and I would not recommend watching videos while driving, it’s very dangerous for you and for others as-well on the road 👍I hope you understand 😊
They never say what other commonly used Apps are available to use on WebLink. I have a feeling it's only TH-cam. I connected my phone and none of the popular Apps came through. Nowhere is there a list of Apps. I think it's useless. The units are not powerfull enough to handel the data needs. Look at the lag for everything. Don't bother.
It is useless. They make Alot of claims of what they are gonna use but non is ever available. Lots of problems with this app I see.
