Great instructions, Thanks for Sharing. I have a 2017 Honda Civic EX. Is their a Bluetooth Version from Android Auto yet? Or a way to go wireless using WiFi?

Android Auto will still connect if cellular data is off but certain functions that require cell service will not work, for example, maps and radio streaming services like Pandora.
@Smail Honda I have one that's advertised "wireless android auto" but I can't get it to work and see no solutions online. I was gonna take it to a Honda shop but some seem nome the wiser. Next stop might be a legal team. Only bough this car for that convenience given the fact I'm a delivery driver that needs the speed and convenience of not needing to always connect tand remove my phone when running around. Those weak ports give out
@@AssasinSpike Oh man that sucks. Another problem for your situation is that constantly disconnecting and reconnecting a charging cable will kill your phone battery too.
@@dmatthews7423 damn. Good to know. Hope nothing happens with my phone then. I don't want another Samsung bomb going off. I would sue tf outta Honda and Samsung if that happens
@@AssasinSpike haha nah, she won't blow up. But as a cell phone battery cycles back and forth between use, recharge, use, recharge, it deteriorates. So it's better to let your phone get down to 10%-20% and then recharge it fully. I rarely actually use Android Auto; my trips are too short to justify plugging it in for a recharge cycle. (I'm also a penny-pinching accountant; so I micro-manage way too much!)
You would need these things: a compatible Android phone, the Android Auto Wireless app, and a vehicle that has Wi-Fi capability. The initial setup is still the same as the video using wires.
