David, thank God you made this video! I went crazy when I watched the program. I was getting ready to make a reaction about it, in Portuguese. In the United States you had the relaunch of some toys with the new film. But here in Brazil, the last Portuguese versions were only released in 2011, and never again! This makes some figures even more rare and valuable. I usually say that here in Brazil we pay 5 times the amount that a collector pays in the United States. Just to give you an idea, the Buzz (Signature Collection) currently sells for $ 400 here. Unbelievable!

Wish they made the collection toys more toy mode wise and non talking cause some of them to me just arent that great sadly and most really dont talk in the movie, i can only guess they had legal issues and could only go so far with what to make or they had to go with what sells and talking toys with happy faces probably appeal to kids more in ratings or something

Not even to mention they don’t bring up the original Woody and Buzz from 1995, for christmas a few years ago my cousins went together and got me a replacement wave 1 Woody and a wave 2 Buzz the Wave 1 Woody itself is quite pricy... Which makes that gift even more special.
Sorry to say but stores don’t sell collection or signature collection anymore. I think they might come back when and if Toy Story 5 comes out. They seem to only be in stores for the movie promotion then after a year or so they stop selling them. The best times to buy toy story toys was in 2009-2011 (for Toy Story 3 movie promotion) and then in 2019 (for Toy Story 4 movie promotion), outside that time it’s hard to find, only eBay. So they only sell them for fast profit during movie promotional times. I really think it’s just a business strategy to cash out after the hype of a movie release.

Well the prices keep changing and not for the better over the last 13 years these have gotten way more expensive. The bigger mr Mike goes for $400-800 and probably worse boxed. The smaller mr Mike goes for about $250-400
Poor guy and today I got laser blade buzz and hopefully the toys went to a good home and hope if the person that brought them and wants to sell them hope they check the prices for each on eBay
There was a show I used to watch called Toy Hunter it was on Travel Channel with Jordan Hembrough and he would find Mego Superheroes Kenner Star Wars and Vintage Transformers MOU Etc

I'm pretty sure the toy shop guy knew how much the collection would be worth, but would have been told to downplay it so they could buy it for way less than it's worth. It was shocking that he accepted their terrible offer though. I feel bad for him getting ripped off like that
When you say mint in box you mean sealed? For me personally I think that you can’t keep them sealed because the alkaline batteries eventually will leak and potentially damage the board.
Well it’s both in box as in you have the original box and it’s still in good condition and yes mint sealed also holds value... we don’t know about battery corrosion until it’s opened. I personally recommend taking the batteries out.. to avoid the corrosion even if I was collecting them to keep in box. Every collector is different though on this.
Mr. Mike existed before Toy Story was ever created. It was a toy in real life and then Pixar took that toy and animated it for the movie. Art imitates real life. Other toys that existed before Toy Story was made include etch a sketch, barrel of monkey’s, magic 8 ball, army men, mr potato head, slinky dog and more!

Disney store toys that are worth money are the limited edition ones there is some worth a lot like the Bonnie doll from Toy Story 3 she is worth $400 because she was only sold in the UK for a short time or a limited edition glow in the dark buzz is about $300 or more from 2019.
Even me who's not the biggest expert on toy story toys knows those were worth more than 325 dollars. I still love pawn stars but some of their experts they bring in definitely aren't legit
