Hey, if they reject you there’s nothing else you can do even if you do exceptionally well in your final exams. They are very strict especially if you do not meet the minimum requirements with the results you have already.

6 yrs studying for MBChB, 2 yrs internship, 1 year community service. After completing community service, you can apply to specialise in dermatology. While waiting for a registrar post, you can apply for a medical officer post in dermatology. Then its takes 4-5yrs *depending on your contract* you are required to write Part1 exams, publish a paper (MMED) then part 2 exams. It’s a long journey but it’s worth it❤️

Hey, Life sciences is not a requirement to study medicine, they require physical sciences and Maths. If you have those on your statement and you have good results then I think you’ll be able to study medicine

90% is a very good mark, I think they will definitely consider you, apply to other universities as well and make sure that you also getting good marks on your other subjects. wish you all the best.

Definitely, they will use anything to cut you off from the large group that is applying that’s why you have to make sure that you work hard from the beginning.

Hi, 60% is the minimum requirement. It’s highly unlikely for you to get an offer by just meeting the minimum requirements because a lot of people already have higher marks than that but they are also not guaranteed an offer. Your grade 11 marks also put you in a very big disadvantage

Do you know by any chance how many years does it take to study dermatology?
Roughly about 12 years💜

They only want your final results in grade 11, if those were good then I think there is a high chance

Well it depends on what res they put you in …some share some don’t share…especially the self catering res(don’t share)
