      There really isnt a secret😭😭 all i can say is that I just had a very good and passionate English teacher who just made it hard for me not to fall in love with it so the first thing i can say is form a very good relationship with your teachers❤. Another thing that helped me with paper 2 and 3 was that my teacher would just give me random essay topics( for paper 2: a topic about the specific literature piece and then for paper 3 she would give me essay topics of previous papers) after which she would willingly mark it and tell me where i lost marks and how to fix my shortcomings, so you could do that to practice your essay skills. And then for paper 1, my teacher would give us homework each and every single day, which i hated 😅 but it proved to be very beneficial in the end as it meant i was practising how to answer comprehensions, adverts and all of that. Overall, just dont look at English as a boring subject. try to fall in love with the literature and the language as a whole and you will excel😘. its study method is obviously different than you would Maths or Life Sciences but also prioritise it at least 3 to 4 times a week. All the best- Nompilo❤💘

      Hey @junjuneiiy, sorry for replying this late. So with RS, I am not going to lie. RS in grade 11 is harder than in matric because in matric you just have to cram the differences between the different religions and their sects whereas in grade 11 its still more terminology. The thing that helped me was past papers. They repeat past papers a lot because there is not much to ask really in RS. So past papers and homeworks should be your friend. 2)Did you do 1 subject a day or multiple?

    • @3BeingsInMedicine
      @3BeingsInMedicine  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      Hello there❤
      I studied Everyday from 17:30 to 21:00 then after June my scheduled changed to 18:00-21:00 cause I wanted to watch tv for 30 min since I arrived from school at 17. I always made sure I slept before 22. So that's like 3 hours everyday of my own personal studying beside the hours at school. But I made sure that no matter what a day doesn't pass without studying even if I break my schedule and make it 2 hours its something. And I studied more than one subject a day, I didn't have a timetable I don't do well with following a timetable so I just studied what I feel like in a day but also depending on how far I am with each subject - Joy
      I personally did not have a scheduled a specific number of hours that i dedicated to studying. Every chance i got, i made sure to study. If a teacher doesn't come to class during their lesson, i'ld take that time to study. Our school had morning studies @6:30am to 7:30am which where compulsory so i used that too. In the afternoon we had a study session too which was from 14:30-17:00 (also compulsory,). When i got home, i would freshen up, and then study more until i felt my body giving up _ Vukona
      So,I used to study using homeworks: if I had homework for a certain subject that day I would do it and revise that subject( so there wasn’t really a set time period, I would just tackle my homework whenever I was settled at home after school). However, I did Physics and Maths technically everyday because at Kutlwanong we would have online lessons for Maths or Physics on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00-20:00, meaning I would spend close to 8 hours(apart from the normal everyday school lessons) a week doing Physics or Maths due to Kutlwanong.
      Since I would do my homeworks once I got home after school, once I was done with that(whatever time that was) I would then sleep and then wake up at 2am or 3am and study any subject I felt like I didn’t understand the content as well as I should have and sometimes prepare for the lessons of that day. We then had morning classes for different subjects at 7:00-7:55, so I couldn’t use that time to study since it was a normal period where a teacher would teach.
      And then since I study through writing and reading, a week before any tests I would summarise notes from my class work book into a double page and I would go over that for the days leading up to the tests and do past papers- Nompilo
      Hope this helps ❤😊

    Not me impatiently waiting for my result on the 19th of jan with no conditional offer and low nbts ( all in intermediate) 😢😢.i really want to go to uct , tho i know my results will be nice but the FPS is stressing me out 😢any advice??

      @3BeingsInMedicine  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Gift❤, we hope you receive the marks you worked towards on the 19th and may God be with you so that UCT accepts you for the course you want🥰. If you remember from our video, Joy and Nompilo didn't receive conditional offers in their matric year but they only received firm offers on results day so there is still hope ,don't throw in the towel yet... Another thing being that if you don't get accepted by UCT, please remember that it is also very important to love the course more than the University: what we mean by this is that if unfortunately UCT doesn't accept you for what you want and another university does, don't be too disheartened because its not UCT that you are going to. Just remember that you can still pursue your dream at any other good university in SA.... All the best Gift!!!!😁

    Nompile we’re you forced to write your NBT at kutlwanong and if Not where did you write your NBT

    • @3BeingsInMedicine
      @3BeingsInMedicine  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No I wasn’t forced to write it at Kutlwanong. I applied to write my tests independent of Kutlwanong because the dates that Kutlwanong had set for the tests to be written were very late and at Universities,for medicine, I think they all wanted the NBT results before the end of July and the tests at Kutlwanong were written mid July or in August I think, not too sure.Mind you, it usually takes about 4 weeks for the results to be out so I wasn’t going to make the deadline at UCT if I wrote the NBT at Kutlwanong.
      And another situation that happened was that some people couldn’t access their NBT results in time (the ones who wrote at Kutlwanong)which disrupted their applications at Universities and sadly they didn’t get accepted for the degree they had initially wanted because Kutlwanong took long to give them their results. So, to be safe, although you would have to take out money if you do it independently, please apply to write NBTs elsewhere and make sure to write them as soon as the applications open because universities are very strict when it comes to NBTs, especially for Medicine. But also maybe ask the centre manager when will the tests be written at Kutlwanong beforehand and hear what he/she has to to say about when will the tests be written at Kutlwanong before you apply to write it elsewhere if you won’t be able to pay the fee. Also check the prospectus of the University you want to go to and find out what do they say about the final submission of NBT results for that cause. The mistake that Kutlwanong did last year may not repeat itself next year or ever again but I think fight to be on the safe side. All the best.- Nompilo

      Hyy darlings❤ Congrats on getting the conditional offer
      So we don't really know much about how the acceptance at UCT work
      But we think chances of you getting accepted at next year are high since you have the conditional acceptance so don't worry. A conditional offer is like they are saying you have met all the minimum requirements and we are offering you a place now but your final marks will determine the final decision. Its a good thing
      Vukona also got the conditional acceptance and ended up getting the firm offer
      About the numbers they take we are not sure but you can check the prospectus that kind of information can be in there

Just focus on your time management and ensure that you actively study so that you get the most out of every study session.

    Vukona how did you manage to get 100% in accounting, thank god I found this Chanel I have look for you in social platforms since you interview with doctor Andy , pls share the study tips❤️🥺

      Vukona - Accounting is the kind of subject that needs you to constantly expose yourself to because the concept remains the same however the numbers change. So in order to ace accounting, be familiar with the concepts, know how to and when to apply certain formulas. And this can be done by practicing past question papers.

      Thank you so much for the opportunity.
      The questions are:
      1. Why doesn't religious studies have a percentage throughout the year but only in the finals?
      - does that mean you didn't do anything for the year and just wrote your finals?
      2. Did u have 8 subjects since gr 10?
      3. Did u happen to get some negative remarks about taking on more work from your peers, If yes how did you deal with it?
      4. Why did you take religious studies/8 subjects?
      5. Do you think that it is worth it to have 8 subjects?
      6. Did having 8 subjects increase your consideration in Uni applications?
      7. When national, provincial and district awards are done can the extra subject potentially weigh you down?

    • @3BeingsInMedicine
      @3BeingsInMedicine  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      1) I did Religious studies continuously from grade 10 to grade 11(so my grade 11 report had Religion studies as a subject). What had happened at my school is that they took Religious out during my term 1 in matric so we were doing 7 subjects in term 1 last year. So, due to that change, when i applied at Universities i did not include Religious studies because we(the matriculants) were under the impression that we would never do Religious again and the applications happened around March and early April(that is when i applied). So when i had to submit results to apply, i explained to Universities that I was no longer doing it through email. However, when we went back to school during term 2, the school matric pass rate was extremely low so they decided to bring it back but remember i had already applied with 7 subjects and the UCT portal(and at other universities) recorded that i had 7 subjects. so when it came time for me to submit my second term report, i wrote another email to UCT telling them not to be surprised when they see a mark for an additional subject on my report and i asked to make changes on the UCT portal so that i can also record the RS marks. they never got back to me. this is why i don't have anything recorded for RS from term 1 to 3 but for finals i have a mark:: there was just no space for me to record those marks but i was doing it from term 2 to 4.

      Hello darling ❤ We cannot say for sure but since the minimum requirements for medicine at UCT include 60s for Physics and Maths you can apply and hope for the best. UCT also considers your grade 12 April June Sep and final results so if you improve there you might increase your chances of getting accepted. All the best❤

    Everybody seems to know about that R300application fee at UP Tuks ... they tell you that there is space in a course, and when you apply and pay the R300, suddenly every course is full. Daylight robbery.
    UCT is hectic with paying over R30 000 by February for registration ... Wits only requires R9340 at registration.

    • @3BeingsInMedicine
      @3BeingsInMedicine  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you Sir for this comment! But however, please note that the over R30000 that has to be paid at UCT by February is not a registration fee, UCT does not have a registration fee. The over R30000 that has to be paid is actually an initial payment for school fees. And if it's not paid by February, you WILL be allowed to register, it's just that they'll charge an interest of 5% on the amount.
