In regard to your 9th point regarding specialization. Is it a Teaching Hospital that can offer the posts for Cardiology ? Which are those Teaching Hospitals in South Africa? If a doctor is selected for a specialization in Cardiology, Does he start in that Teaching Hospital as a General Medical Officer ? Will he have a Professor of Cardiology assigned to him for his studies ?
Lol Yoh, so much questions, idk where to start, might have to make a video 😂 you might have to google the hospitals that offer cardiology, idk them by head. But it should be a teaching hospital which specialises in that field e.g. you can’t do OB/GYN in a hospital that doesn’t have maternity/labour wards. You are no longer an MO but a registrar working under that field. There are definitely consultants and professors experienced in training them but idk if you get assigned a specific one each of you.
