Those cutscene videos just goes to show you how hard you guys in lawncare work. My hats off to you and your team man. I like the Suspension a lot. Its a great tool! The screwdriver though is the same as a Leather man but like you said when its worn out and you have to change it, it is going to be rough. Nice mod on the Tinker! Maximizing space on it! I never knew about the needle until recently but its such a handy thing to have. I have to admit those SAK's are growing on me. You bring up a fair point. No tool will do everything well. Multitools as a whole is a compromise. That Rocktool though is something else! I dig that! Its like the best of both worlds. If only they can fit a set of pliers in there. That scissors reminds of that joke where you are the small scissors she tells you not to worry about versus hugely overbuild Roxon she tells you is just a friend haha. You do get two models SAK with a file on the backside of the parcel hook. I think its the Traveler and the Compact. I dont get prybars either. I dont understand what their use is. I do like that wrench on that one though! That ratchet system is pretty nifty too! The Swiss Champ is a legendary knife. Cant fault it. I think you have a solid toolset bro! Capable and compact. Take care and God bless bro!
I actually think the SAK has a better pliers for day to day use. For hands on vocational use the multitool is the way to go. I’m loving the Swiss Champ. Maybe it’s the honeymoon period, but I pocket carry that knife and I’m ok with it. I think it doesn’t have the extra width of the suspension where the pliers is located. Other multi tools have a more consistent width like the leathermans etc. I’ve seen leathermans be pocket carry, therefore I think the Swiss champ being very similar dimensionally is a legit pocket carry. Have a great weekend my brotha from anotha motha!!
Great video. Looks like your prepared. I own a Deluxe Tinker also. I recently upgraded to the plus scales. I use them a lot. At work I carry them alone with a Gerber Dual Force and a pocket knife. The Dual Force are great for maintenance work. The pliers have a big jaw like wire pliers and the end is small like a needle nose. I waited until they had a big sale last year. They are expensive but useful. I carry the Swiss Champ also. Its awesome. I guess it depends on where I am at on what I'll carry. My Dual Force is at work everyday along with AA Maglite. At home its a SAK or PSK Leatherman. Its good to be prepared. God bless.
Great video! The tool discussion was very interesting and obviously based on considerable personal experience. The outro was great, and that music an absolute hoot! 😄 keep them comming! Subscribed.
Nice Review thank you. I carry always a "Victorinox Compact" or a "Victorinox Handyman" and a "Knipex Cobra 125mm" absolutely great little pliers 👌 Fits all in my Jeanspocket that is important for me.
Hi Tim. My EDC is a Swiss army Huntsman and leatherman Wave+. Working around the yard I carry a classic Buck 110 and a leatherman Supertool 300. Can you show how you upgrade the Victorianox?
you have to just go with the swiss champ and a pair of 4" or 5" knipex cobras. all your work carry concerns will be resolved with that in my opinion. Or just get a Swiss tool mx, or swiss tool spirit mx. what do you think?

We think alike regarding the various carry scenarios dictating what SAK/Knife we carry. Have a great week.

Thank you for watching and commenting. I’ve more videos in the mix! Have a great weekend.
Felix Immler has tons of videos for Swiss Army Knife tricks, tips, and mods. He shows how to make the extra scale slots you mentioned.
There are a few if those missing videos out there. Felix is a legend!

Those make for a great combination. I’ve not jumped into the Knipex world. I’m getting closer. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I will try to remember to do that when I upgrade the Swiss Champ to my version of plus scales. That reminds me, I need to order some plus scales.

Not a fan of carrying any sized knipex in the pocket. Too bulky and one dimensional as a tool. I do like the other options.
