- We take out a Range Rover Sport Autobiography, fitted with the Supercharged V8 from the Land Rover Experience Center in Carmel, California. After a morning testing the car on their off-road facilities we head onto the roads for some initial discussions about the experience and features of the car in a more regular setting.

A friend and I checked out the new Range Rover and the Range Rover L today! Very very nice, have to have the V8 :-) though I haven't had a chance to see the RR Sport in person yet.
They are very good looking in person, much more so in person than in pictures.

I absolutely like the range rover.. Always did! But I just hate the way the designed or let's say not designed the exhaust pipes.. They just look like the ones from a Diesel minivan....

Great vid shmee. Only thing that would have made it better for me would have been a bit more in depth interior footage, back seat, storage space ect.

RB26 likeaboss Absolutely, editing while in the middle of a road trip is always a challenge as I'm trying my hardest to get it all online while still enjoying what I'm up to. Fortunately TH-cam has a 'Trim tool' so while I'm writing it's re-editing and processing and this video will be replaced automatically with a clip that doesn't have the repeated 2 minute clip in it. Thanks!

Hi Shmee. I'm considering to get the sport autobiography soon. Can you tell me how the ride quality is on the sport autobiography? I've heard the 22" wheels result in a tad stiff ride compared to the other models. Pls advice!

Speaking of RR Sport I was at 4 Front Motor last week looking at a Discovery 4 and they had an 06 RR Sport 4.3 supercharged that looked basically brand new with sweet black leather interior and wheel that looked like new for £16K... seats looked brand new, not a scratch, ding or chip on a mirror paint finish still, alloy rims looked like new and I found one little dent... 16K...06 looked brand new...

We have the 3 litre twin-turbo diesel here in Australia. Drove it around Tasmania over Easter. 7.1 litres/100 km (39 mpg) highway and 0-60 in 6.9 secs.
***** Diesel in Canada this year Gery so on the way to US I think.....
If you can afford it then chances are the cost of fuel will be the least of your concerns. lol

No he doesn't. He has a mclaren 12c, a Morgan 3 wheeler, his wife has an abarth, and his dad has a vantage v12 I think. But no rolls royce
Tata has done an incredible job with the Land Rover, Range Rover, and Jaguar, unfortunately they are still cars that do not hold a good resell value, it's clear why, when they get to 75000KM, disaster starts, in all forms.
I've had three over the years. Not a problem with any of them but seems Tata are getting on top of the reliability problems now.

Oisin Murray As of now she hasn't driven the 12C because I haven't been able to arrange insurance on it. We did a video in the R8 last year though so you might remember that.
Shmee150 Yeah I remember the one with the R8 :) Oh time I have a vintage and plan to do a road trip to London and places like that in it when i get A licence. It would be cool to see you whenever I do :)

This is such an amazing car to drive, it's so direct! It's sharp and dynamic! But I would personally choose the bigger one, the higher seating position makes you feel more superior! ;P

Shmee150 Yes that's true the Sport is already a big Car, I have a Touareg at the moment and although the Sport is just 10 cm longer it feels much bigger but I have to admit that both the Sport aswell as the Range Rover are very easy to drive and manoeuvre! In terms of aesthetics the Sport is ahead but I don't know bigger is better haha
xFushix It's just Range Rover, but in some countries it seems like it is called Vogue and then depending on the model you take it is called Vogue SE, HSE, Autobiography. But over here in Luxembourg Vogue is a trim level! We have the Range Rover HSE, Vogue and Autobiography. So yeah I am not completely sure, but in general it's the Range Rover haha

Shmee150 Hi Tim, i see you as a great inspiration, and when i grow up i want to be sucsessful. im doing great at school, so things look a bit possitive :) but i just wonder, what you have worked with (Jobs) to get where you are today. and by the way, AMAZING car! range rovers (together with the cayenne) is the best SUV on the market, the best design, and the combination of luxury and speed. ive tried out the range rover vogue and the cayenne, and i must say that the range rover is on the top of the hill. hope you can reply. +dan McClaren I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. This car is just on a whole other level when it comes too performance, luxury, and capability. The jeep is still an amazing value though.

To anyone who can afford one and is considering buying one don't. I adore mine but I have encountered to many problems with it and for £79995 I was ripped off, It isn't worth my time and even courtesy cars I have had have broken down on me. Don't get me wrong the 5L pulls like a train and annihilates boy racers but its a pain to live with.

being able to suddenly increase to much higher speeds makes for safe over taking and suddenly getting your self out of a dangerous situation such as Kangaroo leaping onto the road in front of you. or a wombat on the road which is pretty common.
