Oddly my husband taught me the shape match of belt buckle and earring...really odd he knew that but he has an eye for,shapes having been a builder,with superb taste...knows antiques loved restoring homes....I guess at 72,I am now his restoration project and he does dress me...I put on an outfit he says yes or not quite then I show him accessories. I have learned he sees the overall effect far better than I.... I never thought I would have a semi pro DRESSER and he is never wrong.

I wanted to immediatly play around with my jewerly and try out these hacks ... but then I realised I have nowhere to go :D
You can just try it at home as well. You can wear your jewelers even though you not going anywhere and just feel fabulous at your home
We still quarantine at my area-recently I have just been dressing up and wearing everything on my closet besides sweatpants. It have been boosting my mood and helping me find my true style

I also invested in clear drawer storage for my jewelry and it makes getting dressed so much easier. absolutely love how you transformed the black dress into multiple different dresses by changing the necklaces that you wore with them. I also loved the full orange suit and the contrasting blue necklace. I am a bit shy about wearing colour, but I loved how you showed me how I can wear it and have fun with it. Thank you.
Trinny, you are a wealth of fashion knowledge. You are a walking encyclopaedia!! That was fascinating and spectacular!! I am about the same age as you and in the 90s (when I was in my 20s) I used to wear big hair, big shoulder pads and big earrings!! Then I got a revelation from you and Susannah. Small boned ladies should wear small jewellery. Well, that's me. I wear small, simple pieces and that works for me. It allows me to be the focus. I obey the Coco Chanel mantra of 'taking something off'. That video was a spectacle but I know I couldn't do even 10% of that.
*Tip for the inexpensive clear storage boxes -- use $2 acrylic photo box frames 4X6 or 5X7.* Cut off one side of the cardboard box that sits inside and you create a cardboard box. The box photo frame, now a box with very sturdy clear plastic lid, can hold just one statement necklace (with a cotton jewelry pad or two) or a stash of several items. I keep them in the top drawers of my dresser. I hear an angel's choir every time I open the drawers! Love you, Trinny!

There was a time when H&M had great statement jewelry and odd pieces. Whenever they had clearance sales I would go in and rack up. This video is inspiring me to pull it all out! I purchased a lot of great jewelry from Express as well during their sales

Loving the first outfit
My mother passed away a week after my 40th birthday. She left me her engagement ring from her second marriage. ( my parents divorced when I was a child and I was raised by my father ) It’s so tiny that I wear it on my right hand pinky finger. I never take it off. 💗

Love your videos. Would be real interested to see you style a single pair of black pants and a white top in a variety of ways. AND/OR a pair of jeans with a single top. Not different pairs (types) of jeans/pants and blouses but a single pair/top with many different looks using scarves, shoes, jackets, jewelry, bags...anything and all to show how you can completely change simple staples.

I did a jewelry collection episode in the same blouse! I love how Trinny organizes hers, I use industrial black trays and collect mainly vintage and antique jewelry. I think we are both inspired by Iris, what collector isn't? I did an episode on Iris style as well. Trinny is my all time favorite TH-camr, because she's not just a TH-camr, if that makes sense? XO~D

MOre accessorizing please....a strategy I used on cruises was one black dress that could go casual or dressy then necklaces...I could wear the dress 3 or 4 times on long Atlantic crossing cruises changing shoes, bags and jewelry options...same for a simple nice knit v neck top and pants... in black, cream or,white.

Thanks for that informative and joyous Video Trinny! It was a pleasure to watch. May I ask, what's to consider about age and jewellery? I'm not even that young anymore (35) but sometimes feel, big jewellery ages me. Secondly, did I understand correctly: if I have very delicate fingers, I accentuate it with very delicate rings, if I have big hands, I'd balance it out with big rings? And does this rule apply to any bodypart? If I have a big, structured face, I'm not gonna wear tiny, delicate earrings, and so on? Thanks in advance for answering! x

I do however always buy real silver or gold, because it doesn't stain or deteriorate. How do you keep the non gold/silver in good condition?

My uncle was concierge in a hotel where Elizabeth Taylor stayed. He brought something up to the suite and saw her playing with her jewellery. I always lusted after her Krupp diamond. This year I bought a huge cz and had the ring copied by a wonderful manufacturing jeweller. Just a bit of fun. My trademark has always been my gold bangles which I've worn since my 20s
