- Before Trinny Woodall was the queen of make up bags, she was the queen of our wardrobes. Certainly, the journalist turned fashion virtuoso has built a career on telling the world what to wear. Actually, as those born before 1995 will remember, she told us what not to wear, with a little help from her friend and partner Susannah Constantine with whom she made a hit BBC TV show. For the latest instalment of In The Closet, our series that sees the Style team journey into the Narnia that are other peoples wardrobes, we visited the beauty entrepreneur at home and asked her to choose some of the fashion classics that meant the most to her. We’re talking buys from everywhere from Prada to her beloved Zara (‘I have to stop myself from going in,” she told us). It's a sight to behold! But don’t take our word for it: tune into the video for the full lowdown - plus plenty of wardrobe hacks to update your wardrobe for the new season. Notepads at the ready!

Trinny always makes a great guest as she is knowledgeable, personable and has an opinion. Her wardrobe, including bags, jewellery, shoes etc is just epic and built over her lifetime. ❤
Wow, the undershirt /shoulder pad reveal is the unsung hero, scaffolding of every look, which makes her clothes hang in balance to her figure... Trinny, thanks for being so open and honest ❤
I have followed Trinny for years, she has helped me to face my body shape, and now i can wear leopard print. I love the way she embraces a concept and makes it happen.....both "high-end" and "high street".
I love how Trinny has marked the moment she got a bag by adding a photo from that time. I often buy a bag to celebrate a landmark moment in my life and I think now I will add a photo in the tags now too 🤍
Trinny is a force of nature
Just wonderful - always fabulous to see someone so comfortable with who they are
Love Trinny, she is inspirational and also a very genuine person!
Thrilled she is visiting Ireland!
Loved how Trinny made her handbags sentimental with photographs. So beautiful.
3:28 I absolutely love Trinni bc she is a risk taker. Not sure her outfits always work, but that’s not the point- she leaves room for fun and mistakes. And When she gets it right, omg! Pure genius. She’s the best!
Love love love Trinny! Her wardrobe is fun, alive and inspiring.
Love the use of those three words to celebrate her style!
I love Trinny! My style is very different, much quieter, but then, I’m not in the public eye as she is. She is always fun to watch.
There is nothing I don’t love about Trinny, amazing inspiration xx
she is bananas and fabulous and absolutely knows her stuff
I loved the Button Queen!I lived there in the '80's!I have a pair of the Tiffany cuffs too.I love Trinny's style.
It’s really great to know when you buy an item you don’t have to wear it as it but you can customise it. That takes confidence and Trinny has bags of that
"leopoard print is my other neutral" - iconic.
I'm surprised she doesn't have clear dust jackets on the darker garments.... it saves me swapping of the dust as I know I don't wear them/ disturb them daily. It's a real life saver!
Love trinny, love how she says dressing it down 😂 she’s in sparkling silver, 😂
Her style is epic.
I love her philosophy of not forgetting how lovely dressing for joy can be. The sparkle in her silver pieces make me happy. They are simply fun. Why not add a little sparkle to your wardrobe? I like her attitude of dressing for yourself and your mood.
Did you need to ring the bell really? Made the dogs go crazy..lol
Trinny you are a GENIUS. I absolutely admire you 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Such a professional. Both of the ladies, a delight to watch.
love Trinny - she just gets the power of clothes and I learn so much from her xo
So, so good at what she does. Thank you Trinny for just being you ❤
I enjoyed that. Subscribed. Thx.
Fabulous wardrobe. Thank you for the video!
Love Trinny!
I absolutely love her style, her confidence, and attitude! I wonder when she purchased (what year?)her Zara jumper? Can anyone answer?🧐
Love Trinny inspiring Wonder Woman!
Love her style 😊
Trinny very nice armour😅 whatever She wears her voice....luv it
Her rings are gorgeous, any idea where they're from?
Love Trinny.
I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a kislux bag and it looked just like it.
Wow, interessant,toll.
Trinny, you should sell your shoulder pad "vests"!
I wish I can be a Trinny’s guest 😊
❤
88887 view! Such a lovely sign. 🦋✨💖
With so much choice. How can she decide?!?
💜
I love Trinny. I wish she’d do a range of undergarments like her shoulder pad T-shirt. I am surprised the lady interviewing her works in fashion journalism, cf. her posture and her blazer.
Posture is nothing to do with fashion. And there are several factors which can affect it, many outside of a person's control. Perhaps best not to make such comments.
Does she still have her own show?
@destinychild4659 No. She's fulltime running Trinny London, with seventy odd staff. She's an occasional guest on Good Morning Britain and other magazine type tv shows. She is interviewed semi-regularly for magazines, and does occasional cover shots - including for Sunday Times. Her TH-cam channel uploads a variety of weekly content - covering Beauty, Makeup, Health, Clothing, Shopping etc.
anyone recognize the rings? who makes those? i tried to google 'kathy brain' but nothing came out...
It's Kate Braine. She's an artist and think she still has a jewellery line
Sorry the pots on her fingers look ridiculous
Let's play a game folks... every time Trinny says 'I' we all take a drink. (Fair warning, you will be pickled within 5 minutes, because this woman REALLY loves to talk about herself!)
But this is her interview if she doesn't talk about herself then what .....?😂
She looks like she's wearing pots of eye shadow on her fingers 😂
Oh, they are lip balm pots 🤣🤣
Trinny the robot…😂 silver crazy
My thoughts. Carnival not Milan
I really think , those rings are a no no
I love watching Trinny, however you can't like everything. I will never understand those huge chunky boots that she pairs with so much.
@SuperLawz Perhaps the chunky boots give heft and substance to a 6' willowy frame? They provide a contrast. I'd never wear them because I'm already short, stout and nuggety. Thus a more dainty shoe shape or heel is more enhancing for me. And, a contrast 😉
As much as I respect her body of work, I am just not into wearing sparkles on a day to day basis.
Okay 😭 no one is holding a gun to your head. of all the comments you could’ve made you decided to display your insecurity on front street.
@@spacebar9733 Honey, not wearing sequins on the daily is not an insecurity. It‘s my personal preference.
@@latteslettersandlife it’s the fact that you were so offended you just HAD to say something irrelevant and backhanded.
@@spacebar9733 Honey, learn to read. I said I respect her body of work but I (meaning me) am not into wearing sparkles day in and day out.
Very trailer park.
As much as I love you, I’m tired of the silver and black!!
Good job it's her wearing it, and not you, then.
@@lilithowl She is constantly showing it to the world and it is boring.
The shoes....so NOT elegant or comfortable. Only following a stupid trend. More for soldiers walking though the mud.
Or for those of us real people who indeed have to deal with rain & mud on a daily basis for our commutes. I like not having to worry about water seeping into lowtop shoes on my way to work! So let's be real, it's a practical consideration for (at least) half of the year in the UK...
