I had the MK8 for just a week. My Mrs got sick and is doing OK, but comfort is currently a major factor.
I will certainly be revisiting this little devil as soon as I can, because it was the most fun that i have ever had, in a car that was affordable. For now though, I make do with a 2ltr golf TDI 6speed DSG. Which can still make me smile, but it obviously doesn't have the X factor
Sorry for you man. The Mk8 ST in certainly not very comfortable, but has the X factor that make you smile every time

You dont let off the gas when you shift neither do you revmatch when you downshit.... lets just say, that clutch is having a bad day when you're driving
With Performance Pack when the “ST” light comes on on the dashboard you can shift gear without lifting off the gas. No-lift-shift comes standard on this Fiesta ST

So many beautiful colors for this car. I don't like it in black, doesn't do the lines of the car any justice.

Ciao, io sto per cambiare macchina e sono troppo indeciso tra la st mk8 e la mk7 (in edizione limitata st200). Tu cosa mi consigli? Ho provato la st200 e mi ha stupito la rigidità della macchina, il feling da go-kart, il rombo proveniente non dallo scarico ma dal motore. Sono molto indeciso. Poi aono molto dubbioso sull'affidabilità del 3 cilindri. Te come ti sei trovato? (So che è ottimo come motore, mi interessa il discorso affidabilità)
Le ho avute entrambe e le ho amate entrambe. Posso dire per esperienza che la Mk7 è più economica e ha più possibilità di personalizzazione, ma la Mk8 è un’auto più completa, più tecnologica e più performante (se aggiungi l’optional del differenziale autobloccante). Il 3 cilindri è comunque un motore affidabile se tagliandato con buoni materiali ogni 10mila km circa.
Il migliore consiglio che posso darti è di provarle entrambe nella configurazione che ti interessa e scegliere in base all’uso che ne farai

I’ve owned several hot hatches and and quicker ones than this ST ,but the Fiesta is the best handling and most fun of the lot. It will go down as a classic in years to come 🔥
Yeah I understand why someone with no idea would say that. Owning a WRX is like owning a way less impress evo. Sure the WRX is a classic, good car, but it was never as good as an evo. The Fiesta ST is incredible and is building a cult like following as we speak. It's an amazing car in a different league. Fiesta ST is a small fast front wheel drive hot hatch. The WRX is an all wheel drive car that doesn't live up to the potential these days. A WRX is a great car, but the Fiesta ST is more fun, more engaging, front wheel drive little beast that beats the competition and competes above it's weight.
