Very nice keyboard for Wichita Lineman. Captures the country nuances and spirit. Apprecieate the comments on the meanings behind the line, the wire, the buzz, the morse-code-like ornaments. The song now is more enjoyable than ever. Thank you.
The 'whine' of wind hitting resonances in wires stretched pole-to-pole brings, to me, the haunting image of a great stringed instrument stretched across the countryside.
One of my top 5 songs of all time. My boyfriend was a Musician he was recording in the 50s. This song reminds Me of him...I need you more than want you, and I want you for all time. You do a Superior job.❤🎶
Thank you for the job. All you need is TW, TW is all you need, playing and singing.
I always loved this song and have performed it as a solo piano piece (as well as Jimmy Webb’s “ The Worst That Could Happen”, it was wonderful to hear you play it as well. Thank you!! I also enjoy your other videos as well but don’t command your musical acumen. God bless!
Very cool! (Steely Dan chord is interesting) I never heard about this! 9th with the 3 in the bass. sounds pretty good. (we don't get to hear about this cool stuff here in the uk! hehe.
This is what sitting down at the piano with Tony is all about. A classic

The ultimate weekend feeling. Wonderful how you are able to share your quality with us and never get cocky.

I remember party lines, but I'm afraid telegraph predates me. Nice work!
I always thought the "whine" of the wire referred to the sound of the wind as it blows across the actual line on the pole.
Lovely 😊
No matter what you say - You're still singing beatiful! 🙂

thani you
cool.
Great Country song..but glen Campbell was also a great jazz guitarist
So is the bass player
Jimmy Webb says it’s in F but there is no F in it
This really shows how beautiful and
magic music can be. Beautiful, Tony !
