Hi Matt, it's me Richard Reandeau, sorry I haven't talked to you in a while, I just wanted to let you know that I made applesauce like you showed in the video and it came out perfect, what I do when I make applesauce is I put a teaspoon each of the following, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves, my sister and my nephew tried it and they loved it, keep those videos coming, have a nice weekend and i'll talk to you another time
Instead of sugar I used honey and it was fabulous. Used the food processer and fed it to the toddler and no sugar rush. The honey and cinnamon made my house smell like heaven.
Hey Matt ☺️ Great recipe! We're very fond of apple sauce in France 😉 I love making it too and also love it on the chunkier side! And sometimes I like eating it, adding a couple table spoons of plain yogurt. Since the apple sauce is already sweet, I don't add any more sugar and it's delicious! A specially if the apple sauce is still hot and the yogurt makes it just the right temperature to eat it right away 😋 it's so yummy! Take care! ☀️
Most people are allergic to cinnamon. "There is a broad range of cinnamon substitutes, such as allspice, cardamom, nutmeg, mace, ground cloves, ginger, anise, vanilla extract or vanilla beans, and more." By John Staughton (BASc, BFA) last updated - February 02, 2020
No, that is incorrect. While cinnamon allergies are probably the most common spice allergies, "most" people are not allergic to it. But here is a simple solution, if you are allergic, don't use it! :) Also those substitutes don't tase like cinnamon, sorry to say. But you can certainly use whatever spices that you want. www.healthline.com/health/cinnamon-allergy "Spice allergies make up about 2 percent of allergies" 2 percent is not "Most". And another quote "A small percentage of people experience an allergic reaction after ingesting or coming into contact with cinnamon"

Hello! Most mason jars are freezer safe. Check out this blog post. www.foodsaver.com/blog/archive/2015/september/how-to-seal-and-freeze-jars.html

COOL!
Thank you! :)
which is it...1/2 or 1 cup water?
1 cup of water, like I, mention in the video. The video description is wrong. I will fix it. :)
Do have to use sugar at all
No you don't have to add sugar if you don't want to.
👍
Thank you! :)
If making for babies, cut back on sugar. And cinnamon
Or if you just want it to be healthier over all :) It is a very easy recipe to adjust.
He could of used a funnel when putting it in mason jars
Not unless it is a special jar funnel. Normal funnels have too small of holes.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt thanks for the feedback hope to see more videos in the future
@@asimhusain8087 You are welcome! I have nearly 700 videos on my channel :) Lots to watch if you like. th-cam.com/users/inthekitchenwithmattvideos
Looks sooo good! Do you want to adopt a daughter? LOL....
LOL and thank you! :)
Honey is always healthier than sugar
Then use honey
Also looks like you like it on the runny side, not thick at all. Why not use a funnel so you don't keep getting it all over.
It is plenty thick, if you want it thicker you can easily cook it longer.
After I cook my apples I just ladle some of the juice off before blending it, that way it is thicker
