Absolutely beautiful piece of art. I just love it ❤️
What a beautiful piece and a perfect way to preserve your Peter Rabbit pieces and other family heirlooms. I love your style and your gorgeous work!
It is absolutely gorgeous
i absolutely love your channel, you are so talented and inspiring. I am currently trying to plan a quilt for my granddaughter in Australia. I fell in love with the slow stitch technique thanks to you and the Roxy journal of stitchery, but my eyes struggle with cross-stitch so Im trying to find ways to embroider Beatrix Potter characters, this is a beautiful piece and so beautiful. I hope I can make a quilt with so much love in it. Thank you for sharing. Gx
What a fabulous idea Corrine, like yourself I think Beatrix Potter was a brilliant story writer along with being a very talented artist.love here and adore Peter Rabbit. Thanks for sharing and the stories behind each stitch .
This is heartwarmingly beautiful
What a super idea! I too have beautiful doilies from my grandma and mother and I could never cut it. But the unfinished projects are also going to find a happy home.
Your work is just gorgeous. Beautiful composition and having so many family pieces to add to it makes it all the more special.
Wonderful way to showcase your treasures.
Beautiful work! I love the colours! ❤
Thank you so much!
What a beautiful work of art. Thank you for sharing your Peter Rabbit story, I’m sure it’s bittersweet. I love the way you’ve incorporated other pieces of work and you’ve given me lots of ideas. I’m in a plaster cast as I broke my ankle so I can’t get to my fabrics but when I do… I have a few pieces I’m trying to do for Rachel’s stitch book but I’m late to the party. I’m always late to every party though.
Thank you for all your beautiful stitching and for sharing so generously. Love from England x
Rest up that ankle.. so you are ready for stitching!
Very lovely! TFS!
Хорошая идея ,хорошая работа! Хочу такую книгу ,я люблю вышивку зайчиков!

Lovely work, lovely design, and splendid idea for saving and preserving family pieces. So well done.
This is wonderful! I could look at the details for hours!
Love this! I have an old quilt I made years ago and did a wall hanging also. Your work is inspiring! Thanks ❤️
Magnifique création j'aime beaucoup , merci .
Just amazing! You are so talented ❤
Thank you so much!!
That certainly is a “happy” piece!! I had cross-stitched an afghan on very similar Aida cloth years ago and gave it to my niece. I feel like you have been slow stitching for a very long time OR you just get a lot done!! Beautiful work! I am happy that this piece brings you joy!
Lovely 💖
Enjoying your channel!! Thank you for inspiration!!
p.s. So related to the no make-up buying take on your latest : )))) Save that $ for craft supplies : ))) Classic!!
You are so talented! What a beautiful piece and the stories interwoven are priceless!
Absolutely beautiful x
Oh my gosh- this is stunning! What a feast for both the eyes and hands. I am working on a fabric book and studying your artwork will give me some new ideas. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for your kind words.. are you watching my series the Jessie Chorley’s panel I’m stitching.. I post a video every Friday
A few years ago I made a Beatrix Potter quilt as I have some blocks of all the creatures I thought I might make a slow stitched journal with them. (I am just starting the slow stitching)
Your baby blanket will look gorgeous.
Wonderful! Great idea.. pull them out what a treasure to play with again!
@@tobelovedtreasuresbycorrine will do. Thank you.
What a great idea I’ll be doing that with things Ihave like that
Thank you, thank you! I have a piece of cross stitch (Alice holding the pig baby) that I've had for years (did it when I was 45, I'm now 78). I also have work done by grandmothers, aunts, mothers, etc. I like to go to thrift shops and buy up all the hand work I can find. Its getting very scarce. Now I see where I can combine my bits and pieces to make something truly unique. So this was wonderful to come across.
Getting me thinking! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
I totally agree with you that this is a great way to use needlework that is just sitting in a cupboard. I don't have a lot of pieces and it's hard for me to cut into them but I don't have anyone to pass them onto so having them sit hidden in a box is silly. At least this way I can use them in a way that I can touch them and see and enjoy them. I even have a bit of satin from my grandma's wedding dress (1915) which takes the needle and thread so nicely.
Enjoy the journey as you fall in love with those pieces again! Corrine
Delicious!!!
What a beautiful way to honor and treasure your family's needlework. They do get put away and after we're gone who would ever appreciate them? That's lovely! Brilliant work. 💖
Thank you so much!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Love your wall hanging, I have some pieces from my mom and grandma and would love to try this! ❤️
So many bunnies this month, and all so different. The way you've been adding things to this reminds me of the Jessie Chorley Friendship Quilt that Rachel finished last year. I think you'd enjoy seeing it. (There might be a playlist for it.)
It’s funny you should mention that.. I purchased Jessie Spring Garden panel 12 months ago so I was planning on doing a video series on that too!
When I heard the Roxy Creations announcement of Volume 4 I thought of this Peter Rabbit panel. I don't think I would be alone enjoying having you keep Peter in the wings during the next volume and as you decide where you will tackle each prompt, do a review of this piece and determine if it already contains the prompt or if the prompt is suitable for a new addition. The panel is already a treasure trove and includes several of your grandmother's pieces. As a bonus, it's essentially a finished mood board!
Yes I did feel at this piece was very similar.. I will dig it out and we can review it. It may give some people an idea of two.
Beautiful! I love that you give e yourself permission to chop up these precious things. Mine are sitting in plastic bags. I've done machine embroidery that never got finished and I am trying to incorporate some into new pieces. Slow stitching is new to me after years of no handwork. I'm having moments of feeling like I am 3 once again and am trying to make sense of what I am doing! Lol!
This is wonderful , xx uk
Thanks! It was a lot of fun!
Es precioso 🤩 me encanta,yo el punto de cruz me pone muy nerviosa no puedo hacerlo 😊
I wish I would've saves my easter material with rabbits I didn't know about slow stiching then
This is so beautiful one of the best I've ever ever seen I want to start a slow Stitch project but I'm a little unsure of how to begin do you cover the whole backing with your printed Fabrics
Неймовірна краса! Респект майстрині!
I embroidered images on an Aida cloth throw also, but the cloth is SO scratchy. I wish I'd found softer throw. Maybe I'll cut out the embroidered bits. Your pieces are beautiful.
Brilliant idea! I have an unfinished ABC zoo animal sampler that I started before our son was born. He'll be 40 later this month..where does the time go? Thanks for the great idea!
A beautiful piece full of memories. So much love and care by different women in those old doilies. Well done, Corrine. [I've only just found you a couple of days ago. You don't happen to live in Brisbane do you?]
Hi .. yes I do! Are you a Brisbane girl too?
@@tobelovedtreasuresbycorrine Yes I am. I live at Lota overlooking the bay. Where are you? Are you nearby?
@@judyglasson2119 I’m at Cornubia
Thank you Corrine I have a piece I started to make a land scape you have explained very well so I’m going to get it out and start to do it as a slow stitch wall hanging my husband and son is in to bees so I could make bees as my main theme would that be alright you have expired me I’m no good with ideas but you have explained very well
That is a great idea.. add flowers for the bees too.. and the odd butterfly! Even a bird could appear somewhere in the pieces.. stitch little messages in there too ..
@@tobelovedtreasuresbycorrine thank you very very much I will do that
Just gorgeous and precious! What did you say that fabric was called that you cut out Peter rabbit from? Cheers Noni
Not sure would need to rewatch the video..
@@tobelovedtreasuresbycorrine
You did say in the video what it was ( the baby rug ) but I don’t understand what you said ☺️
@Noniinthebush ok.. I was making a baby rug and within in the cloth was squares suitable for cross stitch.
I purchased the cloth in the early nineties and I just can’t recall the actual name.. but it is so soft to touch.

Thanks Corinne , I appreciate your reply. The fabric looks so gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your beautiful works 😀👍🏼
Какое применение будет иметь такая красивая салфетка??
