Here’s a quick tip…place your tulips in the freezer for a month…then place them in a pot. We did this for a wedding display.

Your tulips look so good. I've read that you should store your tulip bulbs in a brown bag in the crisper of the fridge. Then, when they're planted, you 'feed' them an ice cube a day. I haven't tried it yet.

Tulips look good. Not odd looking wind swept. My mum grew tulips they were red with a yellow edge a couple were white. The yellow was down the side of the petals.

The journal is beautiful. I did some of Anne Brooks, but now she charges for her videos. I personally connected more with Ariane Zurcher, and she really brought out the desire to stitch more and be brave with what I’m trying. Of course the Roxy sisters are inspiring as well.

I am a beginner at 75😂 living in france 🇫🇷 we are not so lucky with thrift shops but we do have a few red cross + always our clothes bedding etc that we no longer use. I have even saved the lace from old bras so now I can begin to make some squares . Big hugs for sharing 🤗

Nice little shopping haul there ladies. I am going to Japan for the month of November. Spending 5 days in Tokyo at the end of my trip. I will be going to Nippori, nicknamed fabric town. It’s a suburb not far out of Tokyo and they have the most fabulous fabric shops, second hand Kimono shops, it’s absolutely fabulous. I’ve been there once before. One particular shop, “Tomato” have 5 floors of fabrics, I’ll be spending a half day there. So excited and looking forward to it…….

I just love the glimpses of Australia that the "Aussie gals" share with us. I'll likely never get to Australia but I feel like I've experienced some of its variety through the videos. Thanks for taking the time to film and share. The extent of the stock in these stores is amazing, I can't even make a stab at the value of their inventory. I do shop locally but none of them have the variety I see in your video. I have that Sashiko Teddy Bear Kit (or one very similar), if anyone in the USA is looking for a good source of Sashiko kits and supplies take a look at Snuggly Monkey in North Carolina (I am not affiliated with the shop, just a satisfied customer). Their shipping costs are very reasonable and they are quick to fill the orders. They carry a great selection of threads also.

Love your journal journey, lots of good detail to absorb. I first heard of butterfly 'antlers' when Gayle Agostinelli was fussy cutting and often sacrificed them 'by accident' and had to replace them. What a creative group of people all around the world we are, and how wonderful is this sharing.

The Roxy girls next journal is Field Notes starting in July. I would like to know what type of set up you are using for your journal. They are using the accordion style. I think I want to use your style. Thank you for all your encouragement. I like how you say I'm ok with that or be willing to change something if it doesn't work. I'm hoping it will settle my perfectionism. I can't wait to start a new journal with you.

Corrine, stop, I just got 2 of Ur beautiful mentions on Ur channel. 'Once was old' and 'Calico and stitch'. One of these is out of print now, sooooo lucky 2 just get in and received my goodies wow, beautiful books and yes the flowers will be a must make and the houses seeeeeew yum ohhhh and redwork, stop me . Nooooow U have these yummy books, yes a must have. Ordering them this weekend from my best book shop here in NZ where it is very cold and wanting winter reading and stitching Yippy . No more, please, just got my plaids and doilies etc sorted and cut Mums table cloth up, yikes be she will turn in her grave, but all good and will be useful 2 use as my work box and yes I did get the t-towel with the cute houses printed on, see starting this weekend, thanks 4 inspiring me back in2 my crazy needlework days again. Yes also a linen waistcoat and jeans jacket. I will need 2 have needle n thread and books and cloth and my internet connection in my coffin so I can eternally stitch lolololol U give me the excitement back again and yes my brain farts with ideas 2 much, no sleep. So glad I learnt my stitches years ago, but always a new way with stitches makes it more beautiful . Thank U 2 Suzzie and U 4 making me broke, but recycle lace and embroidery doilies I have collected over the years and I have made will have another life now. There was a reason 2 collect these morsels and more. Happy shopping again and spoiling us with Ur goodies . I think between NZ and OZ we had the same lace and doilies, so I have loads in my containers just like Ur stuff yay. Happy stitching days with bunnies. Cheers Crisy Cheers
