For the first story. I’m guessing the sister is probably the one that planted the seeds of disliking the girlfriend. And is probably jealous of the girlfriend that’s genuinely nice
Yeah maybe. Especially with the fatphobia and that sister being a single-mom. Although no matter how much she complained about the gf I find it hard to believe that the parents (or the mom at least) would jump aboard hating her just cuz her kid does. I might be able to see that if there was a complaint about gf babysitting the grandkids or if the mom was frustrated that she wasn’t the go to babysitter

So the sister doesn’t “like” Sammie, but let’s Sammie watch her kids. Now, she doesn’t want to apologize for all the awful things she said and is mad she lost her free babysitter… Wow! That’s some insane logic.

Try this on for logic. My husband has a cousin his baby mom hates me. So much so she wouldn't let me babysit her dog over night. However she gets knocked up by his cousin she decides to keep that one. They end up splitting up and she asks my husband's if we would spend time with her baby and have her over night to get to know her. Yet not even a year before I wasn't competent enough to watch her dog. Shows how much her kid means to her as well.....
From the sounds of it the sister is probably jealous as well, I mean the gf has her shit together and maybe the fact that his sister is a single mom and whatever else she has going on in her life makes her feel a certain way about her brother’s gf.. Just bitter and jealous.

The surrogate best friend story has me absolutely crying. I'm fanning my tears with my phone. I love this random couple and their romance. It's super cute.

I love how this boyfriend approached the situation. He stood behind her. Like, yeah he was on the fence but he fully supported Sammy. Loved her and talked with her and it was a lot of "Sammy feels this way" and "Sammy said this" and "Sammy wants to do this. He is one of the good ones
Ending of the first story made me tear up 😭 not exactly a "happily ever after" but such a beautiful relationship they created through difficulties.

My engagement ring is an antique from a local store, I highly recommend it if you aren't happy with the big box ring store options! Sometimes it can be pricier, other times you can find some really good deals but either way it's so much better to buy locally and you can get a really unique ring
The cat stories made me cry .... I can't imagine the feeling of hearing your cat purr for the first time. I've had cats my whole so I was just a baby the first time I would have heard/felt a cat purr. I know what it's like to lose a cat unexpectedly so I was relieved to hear that couple found their cat!
I remember when the Camo story was on the news in Portland! I didn’t know how the story ended, so glad it ended so well. ❤️
Our one cat got out last April. We weren't able to get her home until early December. She was fatter than when she went missing, no fleas, no parasites. We were so lucky ❤️
Such a needed dose of happy. I’ve had the toughest day and hearing this heart warming stories just made me smile. Thank you😊
As in the first one, a story:
My family is highly toxic (honestly abusive). Upon meeting my then boyfriend, my mother caught him alone in the other room. I don't know if she realized that it was absolutely where we could hear, or if she did that on purpose. But she stopped him and asked him "Don't you think you could...do better than (me)?" Not joking, just 100% honest. My jaw *dropped* and my heart hit the floor as I was convinced that he would dump me when he realized how terrible I was (truth is that my family was the terrible ones but see above RE abusive family)
Instead, then-boyfriend said to her "I do not think I could *ever* do better than someone I love as much as I love your daughter." and walked away.
As an unnecessary update: I 'dumped' the family, kept the man and we have been married for nearly 10 years and I am so much happier and healthier. Family is what you make of it, my friends.
This was such a good episode, ngl some of the stories were so sweet I almost teared up on my bus ride home

The couple whos cat got lost had me in tears. A few months back my pitbull, Faith, got loose and ran into the woods on my dads property chasing after a rabbit. She was only missing for a couple hours before we found her, muddy and a little beat up from downed branches and thorn bushes in the woods, but safe and okay, and I was absolutely heartbroken and terrified id never find her. I couldn't imagine how that couple was feeling with Camo being missing for 12 DAYS. My dog is my life and I would have been devastated if she had been gone that long. Im so glad that Camo finally made a safe return to his humans

I’m so happy for this episode love wholesome content! This is why I hate October/Halloween season because there seems to just be spooky/paranormal activity everywhere and I can’t deal with that stuff. So glad you decided to include this episode for those of us who aren’t able to deal with that stuff. It’s weird because I can totally do true crime and love it but anything like horror I can’t.
I really love the wholesome stories, especially with how stressful life has been recently for many of us. I had surgery and it is so have a good distraction. Please do more!

Our cat had kittens a few years ago now. My brother & sister inlaw were staying with us when they were a few weeks old. Turns out Mumma kitty got protective over her little babes and ripped a hole underneath the lounge and hid them in there. We lived on a lot of land so we spent HOURS searching for them, only to hear their cute little meows when we walked past the room. 🤣

I think Amazon and PayPal should have a service where you can send things to people who you’ve met online, without ever seeing their address. For instance, I could get you a sweatshirt, search for your TH-cam user name and select it, and that would be all I would need to send it to you! there was another girl on a video about styling hair who wished for a curling iron, but didn’t have one. I wish there was a way I could get her a curling iron! Something for an app developer to make!

Omg the snake one is really sweet!! I love reptiles and always wanted my own when I got older. Well for the past few months I've been keeping and buying tarantulas for the first time in my life. I've still really wanted a reptile and I've been dying to get a gecko. On my 30th birthday my husband surprised me and took me to get a crested gecko. Well we ended up getting 3 within a few weeks from each other we are obsessed!!🥰🖤🖤

I remember when I told my bf I LIKED him knowing damn well I’d been in love with him for months. I was honestly expecting him to reject me and prepared myself for it but he didn’t really have much of a reaction… anyways two weeks later he confessed his feelings for me and told me that he’d been in love with me for months- I was going through a roller coaster of emotions at that point 😭😭I told him that I was in love with him too and I cried happy tears in my kitchen for about an hour😭❤️ we’ve been together for almost 10 months now and I’ve honestly never been this in love or this happy with someone before :)
This sounds like a Christmas miracle, and it was. Last year (early December) maybe the 5th or 6th our cat hurt his paw. He started going to the bathroom under my bed because he was having a hard time walking. I took him outside to go to the bathroom every other hour to hope he would go. The second time I took him out to go he bolted. For context our home backs up to about 8 acres of forest with distant neighbors. He was gone. We texted the close neighbors to keep an eye out for him, but after about a week we were starting to lose hope. Of course this was near the holidays and we started to feel sad he wouldn't be home to "open" his stocking on Christmas morning. We continued to go into the forest behind the house to look for him, but never had luck. Christmas eve rolls around and we continue our tradition of opening pajamas. Its about 11 at night by the time we head to bed and we hear a yowling outside coming from the deck attached to the bedroom. It was him. He had come home finally. He was still injured and limping, he had lost about 6 pounds (and you could tell), and he had a pretty significant cut on his other arm. We took him to the vet the day after Christmas to make sure he was ok and they had to remove a cyst that developed on his arm (that's why he had been limping). He was gone for just about 20 days. He doesn't go outside very often like he used to unless he needs to go to the bathroom, but we are so happy he came home.

Honestly having been on both sides of the fence I was a bit torn on the first one. My brother's have dated toxic, selfish girls & thought the sun shone out of them. But there's a big difference being derogatory & pig headed & reacting genuinely to selfish behaviour. Glad to see she's such a beautiful person.

Just found this video after heart wrenching mysteries and people gone missing crime stories. The last story was about a father who got lost in nature and never came back. This was a really sad story and I couldn’t tell if should feel sad or angry about it. It was about a father and it reminds of mine who is still here with me (thank the lord) but it just gives me that distant scary thought about losing your father. So I needed a pick me up story. I came here and the first story was a tear jerker. I felt more attached to it. I have not experienced what the boyfriend did about his gf being stabbed behind her back but her backstory reminds me of mine. She was alone her whole life and once she found a welcoming family she trusted her intuitions and felt right in there. She made time for them because I bet she was so excited to be part of a family but to have them talk sh!y about her behind her back was heart wrenching. Relationships are scary. Good luck to her.

The sister in the first story reminds me of my husband's sister. She drunkenly hit her uncle's car at a holiday party and my father in law paid for all the damages so that she wouldn't get in trouble. The only thing that my husband's sister had to do was apologize to her uncle but she absolutely refused to apologize. To this day, years later she still hasn't apologized.
The story about friends in love hit hard. I was in love with my best friend for 2 and a half years but started dating someone else to get over him, and I remember looking at my date one night and realizing it’s not the right person and feeling absolutely dead inside. 2 months later we broke up, I confessed to my best friend and we’ve been inseparable since
