On the cute ways to get together point: My current fiance and I met at work. We're both teachers. The night before winter break, while we were "just talking" we stayed in his classroom until 9 at night, talking, and getting things ready in the classroom before break. Somehow during that time we started telling each other monkey facts for a few minutes. When I left that night I was worried we'd fall away a little bit after 2weeks of not talking. Then I woke up to a message from him at 6 a.m. the next morning with a good morning and a monkey fact. Every morning the rest of break we sent monkey facts back and forth. Then when we went back to school we started a running note and passed it back and forth each day, in each other's mailboxes, writing new monkey facts. The document was several pages long by the end of the year. When one of us is feeling kinda down, the other will tell a random monkey fact. It never fails to bring a smile
As to the first story: my boyfriends mom is the same way. Whenever we have an argument and it gets to the point that she hears about it, she tells us which one of us is in the wrong and how to avoid problems like this. She is the smartest woman I’ve ever met and she loves her kids so much. Since I’ve been in her life, she has treated me as one of her own and checks on me as she does my boyfriend and his brother. I’m so lucky to have his parents, they’re both so kind and loving.
I started taking birthcontrol again when I started dating my boyfriend. Turns out I was allergic to it and it presented itself with flu-like symptoms. my boyfriend took me to the ER and when I threw up in the bucket I shit the bed at the same time. I was crying uncontrollably and had to wear a pregnancy diaper home. when wd got home he helped me take a shower because I was so sick it was hard to move. We're still together and that was 3 years ago.
I forgot to add on the other version of this first story that she very clearly stated it was the wife’s birthday. Not only did he choose his friends over his wife who he does not help but he also said fuck her birthday.
With the first story. Let’s not forget that HE made her quit her job and sell her business. It wasn’t her choice. He manipulated her “ I hAd sUcH a GrEaT cHiLdHoOd bEcAuSe My mOm sTaYeD aT hOmE” if he wanted that for his kids he should’ve stayed at home not force her
My ex husband talked me into staying at home too and same situation I never got a break we never went out. He'd come home from work and go off to his office and not interact with any of us. My mother in law however shamed me for struggling mentally and in many other ways. I also wasn't allowed to spend HIS money without HIS permission.
@@nancyanderson7335 I'm sorry your marriage ended but thank goodness he's your ex b/c it sounds like he didn't appreciate your considerable contributions and sacrifices made to your relationship and family. You deserve someone that truly values you as a life partner.
My ex husband was a big part in me being a SAHM. He ended up going out every weekend and I was not allowed to go out even with my sister. If I went anywhere I had to take at least one child. He was also an alcoholic. He was financially, mentally and emotionally abusive. I posted a longer comment with more details on this video.
The first story makes me cry. That mom is AMAZING. She saved that girl even if she doesn’t realize it. She’s a great mother , mother in law and grandma. Seriously just an amazing women all the way around.
I miss work so much, and unfortunately due to schedules with baby #2 I couldn't go back😭 so thankful my husband actually reminds me to go take time alone because that guy sounded like a monster to be married and have kids with
I would love some free time, and I guess I get it when my daughter is at school. But then I’m doing stuff, cleaning, shopping, paying bills, making bed, stuff like that. I dared to have an unplanned pregnancy with someone who took off the moment he found out I was pregnant, so I have been a single mom the entire 10 years so far! Since my family doesn’t agree with what I did, they have helped a whopping 0%! I don’t have many friends, or any really, so this whole time I’ve been very alone. And I’m not saying this to get sympathy or anything, it’s just I have no one to tell this to. But, I absolutely love my daughter! And I would do it all again because she’s so absolutely worth it: she is beautiful and funny and artistic and thoughtful, and I love her. As they say, she’s the Apple of my eye!
@@austenmidland7034 I completely understand! Lol and if you have a partner who tells you to take some time to yourself, that’s so valuable! BTW, your profile picture is absolutely beautiful!
A wholesome story I want to share. A few months ago i was going through a really tough time with my parents divorce and how home was chaotic and just not good (im 19 and my dad left a few years ago but it still really hurts). I confided in my closest group of 5 friends and was really disappointed by most of their responses. Two of them picked up on my hurt and reached out to my sister. They went out and spent a HUGE amount of money on facemasks, house plants, matching plushies for the three of us, chocolate and drinks that I like. On a Monday where i was home alone, they surprised me at my door with all these gifts and even bought pizza for us to share. It made my whole weekand I'm so thankful for my friends
My love story with my partner: I had a thing for his best friend, J. But J wanted a lot more than I was able to give. We still hung out together and enjoyed each other's company. One day he introduced me to his best friend, E. E and I talked for weeks. We were 15 so it was very much teen love. We lost our virginities together and everything. But after a few short months it fell apart as a lot was happening in Es life. We both moved on. I got engaged even. Planned a wedding. Things fell apart there. 4 years later a friend invites me for drinks. I'd worked all day and been on a long run so I wasn't feeling it. "E is here.." I was there in five minutes. He ended up coming back to my house that night.. We spoke for a few weeks but he was in a bad spot mentally and I was still recovering from my engagement breakdown. A year later he messages again. He ends up coming up to see me. It's been five years since then. He still hasn't left my house. We have two kids together 😂 Our oldest is about to turn 4. I wish our dear friend J were here to see what he helped create 🥺 He unalived nine years ago. My whole happiness is thanks to him.
The other day I was relaxing on my bed with my three year old. I told him I was hungry so I had to get up and go make some food. He said "No mommy stay in bed! I'll go get you something!" Being a mom is the best
When my husband and I had been dating only about 6 months a similar situation happened as the poop story. My husband has an incredible hate of poop, he will use a quarter of a role of toilet paper for one poop to make sure there is no risk of him getting poop on himself so when this happened to him he couldn't even deal with it himself he was quite literally gagging. I was working in childcare at the time and very unbothered by poop so got him home and into the shower and cleaned him all up. He was mortified the whole time. This was almost 10 years ago now and we've never really talked about the event again. The whole thing definitely brought us closer together and didn't impact our relationship at all. Love the episodes with Justin and Jerry! ❤️
I know this is an old epsiode, but I'm currently a SAHM and lately has been ROUGH. I stumbled upon this older episode looking for something wholesome to boost my mood today while drowning in house hold duties and juggling the kids. After the first story I instantly felt so related to. I completely feel that mothers struggle of doing EVERYTHING and completely losing yourself. All the feels 💜
My husband is in a professional orchestra, we were introduced after one of his concerts by a mutual friend. At the time I was going through a mental breakdown, and was not out looking to meet anyone, also didn’t particularly trust our friends judgement. Everything changed when I saw him smile. We didn’t get together until a few months later, but have been very much in love ever since.
I praise stay at home mom/dads. I couldn’t do that job. I would go crazy! So when I know a stay at home parent, I think they are the best kind out there.
How I met my husband: In college I was Junior been out of a bad relationship for about 4 months and was going to go to a local Rocky Horror Picture Show. The guy I was gonna go with I almost hooked up with but was a total player. Good friend terrible for women. I didnt want it to be a date so I walked into a lounge in my building and asked if anyone wanted to join us it was tonight at 8. My now husband a freshman at the time was the only one who said he would so we exchanged numbers. Well the other guy ditched for the midnight showing so I texted my husband then stranger that the other person ditched but I was still gonna go if he was still interested. He said yes and offered to pick me up. We payed separately but had an amazing time. After we had steak and shake, went back to my house to watch Orange is the New Black and ended up hooking up. I was convinced he was going to be my first 1 night stand but to my surprise he kept texting me and we starting hanging out everyday. Now we have been together for 6 years with a baby on the way. I wasn't looking for a relationship when we met but found the best one.
My wedding was this Friday and it was the best day of my life. I really felt beautiful and loved and got to share my happiness with only my closest family. Well, the wholesome part of this is that I didn't know how to plan a wedding since I only expected a small ceremony and just go to a restaurant afterwards to celebrate. But because of covid, going to a restaurant wasn't an option and now I had to have a wedding party cause my nieces and nephews were really excited to be apart of it, so I actually had to start looking at invites, flowers and catering for it to be an actual wedding. I was overwhelmed cause of covid, abuse at work, fighting(winning) substance abuse, anxiety and depression; just felt defeated and just wanted to buy a pizza and eat at the park. But no, my sister's wouldn't let me, so they grabbed all their decorations, ordered a cake, got catering, rented tables, did invitations/bouquet and still spent hours doing everyone's hair on my big day. They really made me feel so special and loved and I felt bad that they went through that for me, but I know that they did it willingly and happily. And the topping of the cake is, that they gladly watched my rowdy step kids meanwhile I and my husband enjoyed the party. I am blessed with an amazing family and am excited to start my own
i loved this one! Jerry is so wholesome on his own. The girl shitting story killed me. I'm always too scared of something like that happening. my bf recently told me "you know i'll see your shit at some point, right? and i was like NO SR, YOU DEF WONT!!!
I've been with my husband for 21 years. I thought I'd have to be dead for my husband to see my shit or in a position like that 😂 but let me assure you... it happened... to both of us, eventually. Lol Luckily, once you've been together that long, it's not the biggest deal in the world and you each get a good laugh and a story, after the fact! I wish you all the luck in life and love ✌️💚
Your videos have been getting me through PA school! Love this trio. Thank you for some wholesome content-we all need this right now. Glad you stood your ground with the doctor haha OT/PT amaze me! Much love ♥️
Omg the running story has me in tears😭😭 I broke my ankle about 4 months ago and have been on crutches until last week. My WORST FEAR this entire time has been having an bathroom emergency but can’t get there fast enough because of my crutches💀 my fear was so bad I’d have dreams about it and I kept telling myself it’s an irrational fear but my subconscious wouldn’t let it go😭 welllllll my worst fears came true🙃 about 5 weeks ago I had caught the flu and was experiencing explosive diarrhea. My stomach had died down and no grumbling for 5 hours. My mom and I were driving home when my stomach started up again. We were about 8 mins from home and I was thinking it would calm down but I was getting so close to shitting my pants my mom had to get off the freeway exit. Our local Starbucks has been allowing people inside the stores but of course on this day they were freaking closed. My panic went into over drive. But my stomach calm down so we got back in the car thinking I’d make it home. But then I started sweating so bad so my mom had to pull over again. I would’ve won a crutches race by how fast I was running into the gas station😭 Lmao good news I didn’t shit myself but was super close to doing so! My panic I was having while my worst fear was coming true is unbeatable......... My grandma had some adult diapers that I wore for the rest of the day/night just incase😭💀😂
I watch the short and long videos so sometimes there’s overlap but I love the small portions of these for when i don’t have much time. Im glad I have the time today.
My parents have a pretty interesting story on how they got together. My dad was 15, my mom 16, there was a dance at my mom's high school (the same school my brother and I ended up going to) my mom's best friend went with her boyfriend from another school and he brought his friend along (my dad). My dad said he noticed her driving into the parking lot because she was driving a jeep and he thought that was pretty cool, once he met her he told his friend he was going to marry her someday. He wanted an excuse to talk to her so he asked her if she had a cigarette, neither of them smoked but they went over to her jeep and got to talking and the rest is history. They got married as soon as my dad turned 20 because he wanted to be an adult when he married, they had my brother and then me and now they have 2 granddaughters from my brother and a grandson and another granddaughter due any day now from me.
On cute ways people have met: my husband and I were neighbors in our apartment building. Not only did we live in the same building, we shared an entire wall! He could legitimately hear me sing my heart out in the shower. But, we ended up physically meeting because of our dogs. Each of us have a black lab mix and we would run into each other every morning and evening taking our pups out to play and do their business. Over time we began watching each other’s dogs even so much as to exchange keys so I could grab his boy onyx in the morning when I got home from work (I’m a night nurse) and keep him until my neighbor boy got home. He would then take my girl Maddie for the night so she wouldn’t be alone when I was gone at work myself overnight. From that friendship and mutual dog loving selves, we are now happily married with 3 dogs!
I love when men understand that being a stay at home mom is *not* easy. I'm a mom of a 20 month old and a 14 day old....while healing from a csection. I'm fortunate my husband gives me the credit I deserve. By far this has been the hardest "job" I've ever had. You don't get sick days, days to take it easy to heal, you have interrupted sleep/not enough sleep, have to "work" in excruciating pain... but it's worth it 💗
Me and my partner met on tinder. His opening line was "does pineapple belong on pizza?". We bonded over food and we never had any awkwardness. We were long distance but would call every day and video call lots. I fell in love with him very quick on a video call. We met in person after about a month and both had the biggest grins when we saw each other. I moved in with him after 5 months. We have been together 15 months now
When I was dating my first BF in Highschool, still love that guy! He's awesome, We went skiing with his family one day. We had lunch at the cafeteria place, you know that type of food. Well we get on the top of the mountain, and Im about 1/4 of the way down the mtns...then it hits me. The panic. The white-flash of sweat and pain. thankfully I made it to the random bathroom in the heated midway house, and I told them to just keep skiing. HE WAITED FOR ME. I was like, 40 mins at least in there.
I’m so happy to see another episode! I’ve been counting down the minutes. Thank you, and I love the socks!!!! Socks with a story are the best socks ever. If it’s any consolation, I’ve also had a terrible last couple of weeks at work. You are not suffering alone, at the very least. I hope it gets better for you ❤️
Aw she reminds me of my MIL. My MIL will call my husband out when he's being a jerk to me. I definitely believe she loves me like a daughter. We love a supportive MIL 👏
I need more positivity so thanks for making this.💜 Most other reddit stories are always about red flags and negative stuff which sometimes make us feel even worse than we already were.
Saw a tik Tok, the lady said sit with your partner and get a list of all the things you would expect out of a nanny for an 8 hour shift, what’s a reasonable amount things to expect them to do and the stay at home parent acts as a nanny during that time. Then when the other partner gets home you split the responsibilities like you would if they were working a 9-5
omg the escort story made me so happy! it was just the cutest thing. I'm so proud of OP not just for taking a shot for live but changing her life for herself. I'm filled with warm squishy marshmallow goodness 😍...... also the story about the girl pooping while running had ne cracking up. I'd have been laughing my butt off whether it happened to me or my husband but I'm a child at heart
Not sure this is a meet cute story, but here we go: I had given up on online dating and was even thinking of deleting all apps. My now boyfriend had been traveling and trying to meet local girls through dating apps but had pretty much given up on it and decided to give it one last try. He "super liked" me, which was the only reason I got the notification; I replied, decided to go out for a drink and we've been dating for 4 years. Oh, small detail: I'm from Venice, Italy, and had set my mile radius to 10 miles max because I really didn't want a long-distance relationship. As I said, he had been traveling... he's American and lives in California. We've been traveling back and forth over these 4 years, I've quit my job and started working online to follow him, then covid hit and we've been together 3 weeks total since February 2020. Still going strong though!!
I love these wholesome videos! such a good thing to listen to when I'm falling to sleep (I'm a registered nurse so I'm super stressed and busy now too). I would love more wholesome videos if you want to make anymore 😊 💤
My boyfriend and I met when we were 13. He was new to the middle school. Our middle school was super small, so practically every girl had a crush on him. We had english together, and we had to sort ourselves into book groups for a reading assignment. He was the only boy in the class (because it was an honors class and not many boys took honors English). He looked kind of awkward and lost as all of the girls were whispering working up the courage to ask him to be in their group. I felt bad and like the people pleaser I am asked if he wanted to join our reading group. We started dating about a month and a half later. That was 6 years ago and we are sophomores in college. He is my soulmate!!!
Cute ways of getting together; My husband and I are 5 years apart. He's in the air force and was stationed in Germany. His grandfather he was really close to passed away and he was granted emergency leave to go to his grandfather's funeral. He flew back to our town and was given a full week of leave. All of his family members had gone home so he was just hanging out at his parents house and stuck in his head about his grandfather's passing. He posted on an anonymous website that he wanted to hang out and talk with someone where his grief wouldn't have to come up. So I started to message him and we met up and just drove around talking about everything and anything. Turns out he grew up just across a cattle grazing field from me. We went to the same high school too. We just celebrated our first wedding anniversary a few days ago. I'm so happy to have him in my life.
The cute way we got together: My current boyfriend and I went to the same high school. We were in the same grade and only had maybe 60 people in the grade in total. Both of us were athletes in our own sports and had so many of the same friends/acquaintances but we never had a class together and somehow never even met, talked, or even knew about each other. We matched on tinder over two years after graduating high school and hit it off right away! So now we have so many of the same friends and share the same high school experiences in our weird unique way. We can tell stories and know exactly who everyone is from our past and we have so many of the same memories just without the other in it. I think it's just a really cool way to be connected from before our relationship. Now we've have a house and have been together almost 3 years. We also have the most adorable one year old son together. I'm kind of sad about not knowing each other in high school because we would have had so many more memories together and could've done things together like prom and all those memories that you only get from high school. But I think it was for the best, we both matured and changed a lot between high school and when we met in college, if we had met in high school we wouldn't have been the same people that we are now. It simply wasn't our time yet, and I wouldn't change our story for anything.
I met my husband working for Amazon in the warehouse. We met because we were in the same line getting food and coffee. We started talking about coffee, he asked if I needed help finding my packages and that was that ❤️ he became my whole world, and now we’re married, finding our own place and starting a family ❤️
Your dads socks are so cute! Immediately thought of the story of that douschebag that threw away his girlfriends sock collection lol. Currently binging the last of the videos I haven’t watched yet, this included. Loving the podcast!
hope to see more of these, your stories are good, but I can't handle the heavy/dramatic stuff recently, but these I could listen to for all the 8hrs of my work days
As a stay at home mom/wife, of an alcoholic oilfield worker, I had a new born and a 20 yr old toddler. I had to bathe them both, feed them (and coworkers that came over). So I would cook for no less than 4 people every day while also taking care of the baby, and my ex, and cleaning.... I wouldn't go to bed until after midnight every day and would be up at 5 am when they went to work cuz they would wake up the baby every day.
I personally haven't met anyone in sweet ways but the way my parents met is my favourite story. My mum had gone to a concert with a friend of hers and when she was dragged out into the mosh pit she ended up getting knocked over by someone. Out of the crowd a hand caught her by her belt loops and hauled her back to her feet; my dad. They made their way to the front of the stage together and enjoyed the rest of the concert. At the end of the night my dad asked her out to another concert which had been sold out for weeks that my mum had been dying to go to and that he had an extra ticket for. They've been happily married now for 31 years. :) I get a kick out of the story much to my dad's chagrin and I love telling everyone the story. Definitely has set my expectations for a meet-cute I hope I'll get one day.
Not such a cute get together story lol, but I met my bf because he was my brothers new roommate. After a couple months living together with another of my brothers friends it came up that my brother has a sister. Typical guys it end up with my now bf looking me up on Facebook and messing with my brother that he was going to try and hook up with me. My brother is VERY over protective of me when it come to his friends going anywhere near me so he completely took the bait haha. My now bf then added me on Facebook and told me he was messing with my brother so we basically both started joking about and flirting with each other online to wind up my brother. He HATED it lol. It really was just a joke until after a while we realised we actually liked each other and decided to go on a date. Trying to explain this to my brother did not go down well until his gf intervened as she was longtime friends with my bf and assured my brother he was actually a good guy lol. 7 years later we are still together, have a house and a dog together and still like to joke it's just the longest prank ever 😅 On a side note, it was VERY awkward when staying over with my bf when his bedroom was next to my brothers hahaha
Well, the 8 year old totally made me cry. My twins are not quite 7 and they 100% have those mornings. They steal my phone and hide it so they can turn the alarms off, they feed themselves, clean up, fill up my water, and sit down at their art table to make me things while asking google how to spell things. They’re my favorite Saturdays.
Here's my relationship story: When I met my partner we were just friends, I always thought he was cute but I just figured we wouldn't be compatible because we are SUCH different people, so we just hung out as mutual friends for the longest time. Honestly, our favorite pastime together was to shit talk our exes. We even joked on Valentine's day that we were each other's Valentine's because we were lonely and wanted to complain about our exes. Almost a year later, he just asked me out on a whim and surprisingly, I said yes. I didn't really think that much about it except "what will our friends think??" Almost 2 years and a life altering pandemic later and we're stronger than ever. I guess we are compatible 😁
My favorite thing is being annoying and talking about how my boyfriend and I met lol So apologies in advance! We met in Kindergarten at 4 years old. He had a friend who happened to be in my class and we all hung out during recess. We became BEST friends. He protected me from extreme bullying, we played House a lot and were always the mom and dad. He was my first crush. At the end of the first grade I found out I was moving. All teary eyed, I announced it to my friend knowing that we'd never see each other again. He said he was also moving, so I wouldn't even know where he was when I got old enough to find him again. About halfway through second grade, I'm at recess and out of the corner of my eye I see him! My best friend! I run over there and say hi, he's shocked and awkward. Turns out we moved to the same area and were going to the same school! But that wasn't his usual lunch block so we didn't see each other again that year. A few more years pass, no sign of him. We live in a very densely populated area with new schools being built all the time, so it's really hard to keep track of people as a kid. Finally, 6th grade. I'm eating lunch with some friends, facing the door outside to recess. I notice the back of this person's head, and IMMEDIATELY know it's my friend. But at this point, we haven't seen each other in 4 years. Haven't really been friends in 5. So I was too nervous to just... waltz up and introduce myself. What if he didn't remember me? Then I would just have to awkwardly walk off and lose him again. So.... I ended up worming my way into his friend group, being invited to hang out with them at recess, and got to know him all over again. Confirmed this HAD to be my best friend. Eventually I brought up schools we'd been to, he was surprised I'd been to the same original elementary school as him, and then I had to be like "Oh lol we were best friends, remember?" After 6th grade, I didn't see him again. Right before the 8th grade, I moved again over 6 hours away. Unbeknownst to me, he moved out of state at this time as well. I moved back to our old school district right before high school began, as did he. But he was homeschooled 9th grade and part of 10th. One day, I'm talking to my friends before school starts. 10th grade. Someone mentions the best friend I've always said I'm going to marry, and I end up telling them the story of this kindergarten friend. Right at the end of me explaining this whole thing, he walks up and says, "Brittni? It's _____ from Kindergarten. Hi!" and then just.... walks off. I was confused as all get out. Tried finding him again but I couldn't. Later that year, I got a job at a gas station. One day I'm working, and he just walks in! We start talking, I FINALLY get his number and way to contact him again. Then for the rest of high school we hung out all the time, best friends again. Both had massive crushes on each other, and kept ALMOST dating but were both too dumb and insecure to believe the other one liked us back. I moved away for college, but this time we kept in touch. Both of us got into other - very bad - relationships. 1.5 years ago, I moved back to the area he's in. We tried hanging out again as friends but very quickly realized we have never been able to JUST be friends and always end up having feelings for each other. So here we are! Dating, living together. tl;dr: I've been in love with my kindergarten best friend. We kept losing track of each other and coming together again. Finally, we actually got together
The poop story gave me flashbacks! I used to work in a daycare and i caught a virus 3 weeks after meeting my bf, i was living in the toilet! That man bought me medicine and came to my house to take care of me! I was so embarrassed but he was so caring, we’ve been together ever since 2 years going strong 😅
Dollar story: Just wait, if she passes away before him, he will put the dollar bill in the casket! Finally got you to let me pay you back!!🤭❤️ Loved the story 🥰
Story 1: MIL absolutely did the right thing! She's a hero. It's too bad her son ended up being an entitled AH. Grandma Doris sounds like she was amazing! 🥰 Thank you for acknowledging that stay at home parenting is hard! I've been a SAHM for many years and it's physically and mentally exhausting. And we're taken for granted all the time Story 2: ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰😍💝💜💙
The poo run reminds me of what we call the poop hike. I think I might have IBS but on a 4 mile hike in the middle of nowhere I had tummy troubles and my man found me a hole to hide in and my guts exploded. He sacrificed his socks for me and it is now a lovely on going joke/story lol u just gotta own it and laugh it off theres nothing more u can do about it.
The mother-in-law story: My mother-in-law would be on my side if my husband did anything like that. If I were to treat him bad, she is the first one to tell me I messed up. She keeps both of us in line. She is the best mother-in-law just like the Op from the story. So here is my relationship story: My husband and I met in 6th grade because he was dating my best friend. They broke up because they were better friends than bf and gf. The next year she knew we both liked each other and pushed us into a relationship. She was my maid of honor at out wedding two years ago. Now we have a baby boy and she is his godmother. I thank her everyday for the guy she pushed me into dating.
My husband and I met in 7th grade science class. He was always looking at me but I didn’t know if it was because he was like my fellow bullies or because he liked me, so one day I had written on my hand “I like ?” And I looked over to see his hand had “I like you” written on it. We broke up in 9th grade because I had become ill and just needed time to focus on myself. A week before my 19th birthday he messaged me and asked if I wanted to meet for coffee, I said yes, and we have spent everyday together since (almost 9 years now). He proposed to me while I was at work lol, I was working at Ross and was in the dressing room and he had some clothes and I told him to place them so I could count him so he did, then he said “oh wait” and reached in his pocket and got on knee and asked me to marry him. I was pregnant at the time so I started bawling like a baby, we got married 2 years later and now have two kids :) he’s my best friend, we have been through it all together, and I love him more than anything!
Last story: I'm not a parent, but I have a similar story with my younger sister. When i was in my first year at uni and she was in her first year at highschool, we used to commute (one hour away, so for classes at 8 we left at 6 so we could be in time) I used to wake up at 4:45 so I could have enough time to prepare breakfast for the two of use as well as get ready for school. About two months in I was down with the flu and also on my period so I thought we would skip breakfast. About 5:20 my baby sister gets into my room with a plate of burnt toast and 2 inches of jam on it, she didn't know how to make coffee. To this day, I tear up thinking about it.
The first one is NTA, she recognises the parenting isn’t finished for her son and is completing the course 💅🏻
On the cute ways to get together point:
My current fiance and I met at work.
Cryinggggg. So so cute!!!!
This is adorable
You killed me with your cuteness
This is the sweetest thing ever!!!!
thats so adorable omgggg
As to the first story: my boyfriends mom is the same way. Whenever we have an argument and it gets to the point that she hears about it, she tells us which one of us is in the wrong and how to avoid problems like this. She is the smartest woman I’ve ever met and she loves her kids so much. Since I’ve been in her life, she has treated me as one of her own and checks on me as she does my boyfriend and his brother. I’m so lucky to have his parents, they’re both so kind and loving.
Your dad has ✨main character✨ energy
Not sure there's a more accurate statement!
@@TwoHotTakes 😂😂 he’s got stories and experiences on deck always.
He really has great advice and a refreshing perspective. I agree with him about the poop stories. They aren't entertaining.
I think Morgan is secretly Barbie because of how much jobs she has experienced 😂😭
She hasn't been president... Yet.
@@b.c.9358 I’m not American but personally with the choices you have, if I were an American I’d 10/10 vote for Morgan

Yes! Morgan 4 president! Or come sort out Canada, I’ll vote for you!
I forgot to add on the other version of this first story that she very clearly stated it was the wife’s birthday. Not only did he choose his friends over his wife who he does not help but he also said fuck her birthday.
What a little shit
With the first story. Let’s not forget that HE made her quit her job and sell her business. It wasn’t her choice. He manipulated her “ I hAd sUcH a GrEaT cHiLdHoOd bEcAuSe My mOm sTaYeD aT hOmE” if he wanted that for his kids he should’ve stayed at home not force her
Also the spa thing was for her birthday… WTF!
yeah the fact that she’s getting walked over :(
My ex husband talked me into staying at home too and same situation I never got a break we never went out.
Jerry: “Get the gun.”
bro i’m crying 😭😭 Jerry, I love you.
Cannot handle him, he’s amazing 😭😂💖
he's got his head in the right place
The first story makes me cry. That mom is AMAZING. She saved that girl even if she doesn’t realize it. She’s a great mother , mother in law and grandma. Seriously just an amazing women all the way around.
Amen to being a “stay at home mom” portion. It’s brutal and rewarding too. But LOOVE having a small part time job ❤️
Those are incredible friends and an amazing sister. Hoping you heal, and have all the love and success in the world
Alejandra and Lauren are the ones who needed these stories lol
100% agree! Alejandra especially had to deal with really difficult ones.
i love when morgan’s dad is on bc he either gives very solid and reasonable advice or he’s like “kill them” and there’s no in between
With the Escort story, I was literally cheering in my car for her to go tell him how she feels about him. So happy that she is happy 😊
My love story with my partner:
I had a thing for his best friend, J.
Omg there’s soo sweet!
“Lights, camera, jerry” I love her dad so much 😭😭😭😭
jerry should have his own reality tv show
That little face and smile your dad makes when you're talking about love ENDS ME. He's precious, I love him
When my husband and I had been dating only about 6 months a similar situation happened as the poop story.
M
The mother in law in the first story is wonderful 🥺
Your videos have been getting me through PA school! Love this trio. Thank you for some wholesome content-we all need this right now. Glad you stood your ground with the doctor haha OT/PT amaze me! Much love ♥️
The one dislike is from the husband in the first story
“Traumatic bonding experience” lmao Justin is too funny. I love your guys relationship so much!
Omg the running story has me in tears😭😭
I broke my ankle about 4 months ago and have been on crutches until last week. My WORST FEAR this entire time has been having an bathroom emergency but can’t get there fast enough because of my crutches💀 my fear was so bad I’d have dreams about it and I kept telling myself it’s an irrational fear but my subconscious wouldn’t let it go😭
welllllll my worst fears came true🙃 about 5 weeks ago I had caught the flu and was experiencing explosive diarrhea.
I would’ve won a crutches race by how fast I was running into the gas station😭
Lmao good news I didn’t shit myself but was super close to doing so!
You don't get sick days, days to take it easy to heal, you have interrupted sleep/not enough sleep, have to "work" in excruciating pain... but it's worth it 💗
Your dad is so pure and wholesome himself!! Both Justin and your dad are so open minded and understanding. You have a great group of men by your side.
Love full length episodes! They get me through the work week
I shouldn’t have watched this at work because it was way too wholesome I started crying
Then when the other partner gets home you split the responsibilities like you would if they were working a 9-5
My favorite episode! Listened to it in Spotify twice and now watched it…I cannot wait for the next!
omg the escort story made me so happy! it was just the cutest thing.
These people are so accepting, open minded, just and candid.
Love from NE India 🇮🇳
Being a stay at home parent is the hardest job as you're 24/7 with no holiday, pay, and often no gratitude.
Thank you for these stories, I had a hard week too and these helped me to chill out.
I have covid right now and this is my only source of entertainment through quarantine fr everything else is boring so thank god for your videos 😂😇🥰
Cute ways of getting together;
My husband and I are 5 years apart.
“I want to be the fun aunt and then be able to give them back.” Lol 😝 this is so me, I say that all the time!!!
The cute way we got together:
My current boyfriend and I went to the same high school.
I'm so happy she got her man and a whole different life because she followed her heart and I keep crying because it's rare bit she did it!
Loved extra the stories in the potcast version ❤️✨
This may just be my period talking but the “kiss her” story made me instantly break into tears, so sweet
I met my husband working for Amazon in the warehouse. We met because we were in the same line getting food and coffee. We started talking about coffee, he asked if I needed help finding my packages and that was that ❤️ he became my whole world, and now we’re married, finding our own place and starting a family ❤️
Love this episode!! Would you ever consider doing one with write ins where you have the person react like one the phone or something?
Your dads socks are so cute! Immediately thought of the story of that douschebag that threw away his girlfriends sock collection lol. Currently binging the last of the videos I haven’t watched yet, this included. Loving the podcast!
i love Morgan's laugh it's so heartwarming 🤗
hope to see more of these, your stories are good, but I can't handle the heavy/dramatic stuff recently, but these I could listen to for all the 8hrs of my work days
I love when Morgan's Dad joins! 😊
Jerry is honestly my favorite guest. The three of you crack me up
This is my new fav podcast recommended by another I was listening to. Also, I LOVE Jerry as a guest every time!
I'm so so happy that this channel has grown so much since the first time I discoverd it. You really deserve it morgan and also everyone involved 🥰🥰
Lol Justin’s expression when he looked in the camera after Jerry was talking about his socks at 1:00 reminded me of the office haha
this podcast makes my day, thanks y’all 🥰
As a stay at home mom/wife, of an alcoholic oilfield worker, I had a new born and a 20 yr old toddler.
Morgan's dad smiling at them talk about how great it is to be in love with each other
I personally haven't met anyone in sweet ways but the way my parents met is my favourite story.
I love his socks!!!
Peengwen. That’s how your dad pronounced it, and I love it.
Idk id anyone has said this already, but I love you dad's socks. 🥺💜
I'm with Jerry about the poop stories. Thanks for the TW. 😂😂😂 love u guys!!!
Jerry is so adorable with his penguin socks! 🥺
I love these podcasts so much!!!💕
I'm new here, but I went through all of your videos to find the ones with your dad. He's great!
Here's my relationship story:
When I met my partner we were just friends, I always thought he was cute but I just figured we wouldn't be compatible because we are SUCH different people, so we just hung out as mutual friends for the longest time.
Your dad is back. Wholesome enough already
Yes, you are very correct about dreams and the new faces information!! I learned that sometime ago in a media form and was blown away!!
Eventually I brought up schools we'd been to, he was surprised I'd been to the same original elementary school as him, and then I had to be like "Oh lol we were best friends, remember?"
After 6th grade, I didn't see him again.
Dating, living together.
tl;dr:
I've been in love with my kindergarten best friend. We kept losing track of each other and coming together again. Finally, we actually got together
I don't know if I believe in fate but this gives me hope. Thank you for sharing this amazing story. ❤
Love the podcast!!! Extra excited when your dad is part of the conversation 😁
i actually cackled when jerry said “get the gun” he was so serious 😭😭
Thank you for acknowledging that stay at home parenting is hard! I've been a SAHM for many years and it's physically and mentally exhausting. And we're taken for granted all the time
Story 2: ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰😍💝💜💙
Omg omg omg omg omg I am soooooo happy about this story yay, I love that he wanted to stay together
Ahhh so excited! I am gonna download this video so I can listen to it first thing at work tomorrow!!
The mother-in-law story: My mother-in-law would be on my side if my husband did anything like that. If I were to treat him bad, she is the first one to tell me I messed up. She keeps both of us in line. She is the best mother-in-law just like the Op from the story.
So here is my relationship story:
My husband and I met in 6th grade because he was dating my best friend.
I was pregnant at the time so I started bawling like a baby, we got married 2 years later and now have two kids :) he’s my best friend, we have been through it all together, and I love him more than anything!
the dollar story has me crying on the floor of my bathroom 😭
The second story had me bawling 😭
