Thank you for putting out good PR7 videos. I did the engine research before I decided to buy mine. An engine with a long history and available parts, with easy valve adjustments, helped with my decision. Even my old KLR650 required me to remove the cam shafts for a valve adjustment. I do not like removing cams.
@@fcalin21 Not sure really. I wouldn't have thought this is common with single cylinder engines in fact I've never heard of a single cylinder with a desaxe set up. Might be wrong. Do U know if other desaxe engines?
Great to know you don't need to pull the engine out to check the clearances. I noticed some crash bars, how do you find these? It would be great understand which ones you chose and if you're planning on mounting items to them. Great Vid, cheers.
Yeah the crash bars are for an upcoming trip, I wouldn't normally fit them. I am going to fit small fender bags to them for tools and it gives me a tie off point to hang fuel bladder over the airbox on the bike for a big trip I have planned. These are just the Crosspro aluminium bars so pretty light. Thanks for watching Regards Steve
@@rogerlofgren9204 Have actually made some improvements since then. It was a new microphone and it wasn't as good as the old one Thanks for watching Regards Steve
Yeah the Doma exhaust U get with the old power up pack does have a better sound and less restriction but I like the quieter ride on the long hauls U get from the stock exhaust Thanks for watching Regards Steve
@@dirtbikeadv I didn't make myself clear. I started watching the video and had to skip a few minutes because my ears were hurting. Half way through, I had to stop because of the same reason. It's a shame, the video is probably interesting, due to the bad audio I couldn't watch it all. I know how hard it is to record a motorcycle video with decent audio without expensive equipment, but it's possible to go around it cheaply. The exhaust, I couldn't care less. Have you noticed the Chinese crap kove has been praised as the first lightweight adv... Well, AJP has been selling this bike for years now. Thing I'll never understand, unless I ask António, is why PR7, if they announce it as 650, being a 600cc in reality.
@@zefautino Yeah the problem was the vent on the helmet was open and I didn't notice it. Mostly the audio is quite clear as I have a microphone inside. Sorry about that. Yeah weird thing calling them a 650 I wish AJP would correct that.

Much Enjoyment 👍😎
Is it a desaxe engine ? If yes, how many degrees?

@@dirtbikeadv the TR650 used the old BMW 650 motor that was previously used in the XChallange.
