55 years of paddling ... Time to retire? Or ...

I've been paddling kayaks, canoes, outrigger, packraft, SUPs for 55 years. Is it time to retire? Or, just to change perspective.
It's never too late to learn something new! I am learning and practicing solo sculling with Literace 1x, a rowing shell by @Liteboat. I may be looking back in my rowing shell, but I am moving forward.

Looks like you press on. Nice "look back," The ability to look back when the catheter and wheel chair arrive is why I started filming my outdoor content to begin with. Nice video.

I have about the same number of years in solo paddlecraft but after two recent experiences with vertigo for safety's sake I realized that I needed to better self-insure my return to my lovely wife by switching to rowing. It was a very easy transition and the peace of mind that I now have paddling a Whitehall Wherry, a boat large enough for me to fall into rather than out of is most comforting (for both of us).
