This era isn't bad but I don't see how anybody can like this stuff more than their conceptual albums wish you were here dark side of the Moon even animals songs people have songs they remember but really outside of astronomy Dominie interstellar overdrive in echoes unless you're talking to people that may be care way more about music than the average individual you're not going to find anybody I can tell you with a straight face without cracking up or being high that's the better era is somehow even near the stuff they did in the Roger Gilmore era just saying

My channel was inspired by my cat. Floyd, he was my buddy. He was named after pink Floyd and I grew up in my child hood with him
But, not all stories have a happy ending.
4 years ago, my mum was doing an exam you had to get all of it right to pass. To graduate from university. Then my cat, Floyd, just as the mailman came with the results. I was holding floyd so I can hear his heart, at the age of 10, Floyds heart stopped and had a heart attack, I still miss him to this day. My mum passed and Floyd died. One for the other.
I really miss him.
R.I.P Floyd, the best thing that had ever happened to me.
Died 17th january, 2015.
There was a time in my life in which I was afraid of listening to this song because I thought It'd trigger a panic attack and that never happened. Sometimes I even meditate with it 🤣

the way it started out with him on the gong i almost thought it was taken from live at pompeii its still good though, what's really cool is i just changed the background of my computer and while playing this i minimized the screen and my background is of stars an image from hubble telescope i downloaded just to put as a background then i purposely blurred my vision while listening to this and it felt for a minute because of the high resolution that i was floating out there

This is definitley one of my Top 3 favorite Pink Floyd recordings (The whole KQED set I mean, although this is my favorite version of this song as well). I really wanna see remastered concerts from AHM era and earlier. The earliest form of AHM I could ever find was recorded at a festival from January 1970, with the working title The Amazing Pudding. The quality is really rough, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also would love to have more versions of "The Man" and "The Journey". I only could get ahold of 2 different sets with those. My favorite Pink Floyd live shows are "The Man/Journey" sets going through to the tracks on Atom Heart Mother sets: Green is the Colour/Careful with that Axe, Cymbaline, any AHM track (mostly only ever found AHM. Had one "If" and one "Alan's blah blah Breakfast"), Set the Controls, Saucerful, The Embryo, etc.

Psychedelic_Psychedeler King Crimson is great tripping music, too. Their album Islands is a personal favorite.
A good psychosis album is Music to Eat by the Hamilton Grease Band. Halifax but for good space rock Hawkwind should do the trick
Mecki Mark Men, Swedish band 1967, their first LP.
Or several albums by the Moody Blues around 1970.
Or "Eclipse" by Didier Bocquet (the track, not the LP).
Maybe a few Tangerine Dream albums 1972-76, or Klaus Schulze.
But this is genius, and ... a similar level of genius is very hard to find. :-)
