Ive only just discovered this channel following the purchase of my GG -B100. I love you Casio! My Casio wavecepter purchased in 2008 ( 16 years ago ) is NOT showing any signs of slowing down let alone stopping and that thing has taken some serious abuse including a 3 week brutal training stint with the Army!
Great little series, as I just received my GG-B100-1A3ER 6 hours ago... It has already been on a hike through the woods. Mission log got a little wonky, and some waypoints were all over the place. I know for a fact the trip was around 5K, but the log said 17,8K! And the location indicator has not worked, yet. But I'm sure I'll figure it out as I go :) It was cool checking the altimeter, barometer and step tracker as the hike went through the hills. I can see a lot of fun coming out of this watch. Just need to figure out how to get better results with the GPS/Location stuff.
I'm a big fan of this function on my GG-B100. I've put a couple of videos of it on my channel. I do hope it evolves over time so you can set a predetermined location before you visit it...not sure if that's feasible in reality though. Cheers G-Shock, best watches in the world!
Can this feature and the mission activity function both be used at the same time? Just purchased my 1st G-SHOCK and been playing around with it and absolutely loving it, great series and very helpful
Hi Robert, Very pleased you're finding this series useful! The mission log and location indicator are two separate functions that utilise the GPS connection on your mobile via G-Shock connected - Therefore only one function can be used at a time
@@robertbraithwaite5873 Hi Robert, did you deactivate the mission log? The ML will continue measuring for quite some time unless deactivated - if you are experiencing any further issues, please do not hesitate to contact our customer services team who will be able to assist
@@UKCasio I’m thinking it didn’t deactivate itself after my log. I pressed and held the Alti button for 5 sec and thought it said log off but it must not have done it, I pressed it again last night and it work 🤷🏻. Ty for the fast response and willingness to help!!
Quick question. I love this app. and I made the transition to the new Casio app. and I definitely do not like the new app. Is there a way to reload data or reset the APP to use with the mud master again? I have send several emails to support and they do not seem to care about customer service. I have used your videos to help learn marabout the features on my watch and I love it. not impressed with their new app at all. (I have not used my watch in tracking etc. for the last 8 months since I migrated to the new app.
I have a question, I have configured the app to terminate the connection after 3 minutes, do I have to reconnect before finding my way to the location I saved? or is that only necessary the first time?

@@UKCasio quick question. After using the mission log the app continues just to say “measuring” under the mission log.

Can these be used for running? Like a traditional Garmin watch?
Ok. So if I no longer need to go to the marked location, how do I clear it out?
That particular location will remain till you set a new one.
Is there a new g shock mudmaster gwg 1000 comings out soon?
