Will an old lawn mower run on muddy gas and tiki torch oil? Mower experiment 1

The addition of muddy, watery fuel from my waste fuel/fluid container was meant to test the robustness of this engine. The 20% content of lantern oil lowered the octane enough to cause moderate detonation in the engine (pinging), but the engine ran pretty well considering!
This 2001 Craftsman mower came with our new house. It was obviously run with low oil multiple times and the deck was full of rust holes due to lack of cleaning. After discovering that the engine cylinder was scored, I decided to buy a new mower in case this one failed. As a result, this mower has become the subject of various experiments. This is the first one of many, performed a few years ago.
