I replaced the Catalytic converter yesterday and I noticed some oil dripping down near the cylinder wall so I figured the valve cover gasket has to be replaced, now that I watched your very detail video, I feel like I can tackle this job as well, thanks!
Hey man great video, but I wanted to tell you, 99 percent of the time there reason that there is oil down in the ignition coil tube is because the oil was poured too quickly during an oil change, leaks out of the fill hole, over to the coil area and down into the coil tubes. It is very easy to fill the oil too quickly on these cars

In the near future I will be going to have that work done and it is a great knowledge to me to know approximately how long the mechanic should charge me for the work he tells me he charges $95 an hour and that is not small change for me! So finding your video will be extremely beneficial to me I believe thank you
Mine actually ripped after a few times of working on the car and I threw it in the trash. I don't think it serves any purpose except maybe diverting any water or debris. Thanks for the feedback.
what was your symptoms my dart has very pore acceleration on the highway i have to floor it to get it up to speed same as leaving an intersection which can be dangerous because of such poor lack of acceleration it seems to be way worst on hot days any ideas ? great vid by the way
I would change the coil packs first , I know I had a similar issue and seen great improvement. Of course change the spark plugs also if they have not been done. Thanks for the feedback.

The bolt crush seals are very important... they actually hold the gasket and rings in so you don't have to use rtv 😮
Can I remove the foam insert behind the head covering the injectors without any consequence?

I think it’s in case the fuel line next to the purge line or the injectors leak ….
Great tutorial! I was wondering what you used to clean the valve cover? Is it just a degreaser and a rinse with water?
I usually get the purple cleaner and then rinse it. I have also used a pressure washer . Thanks for the feedback.

Is this the dodge dart aero turbo? If so where did you get your gasket I can’t seem to find no parts for mine and it’s getting frustrating
