thanks for the tutorial. i had a 4 quart jug and just pumped the fluid slowly. the service intake only started belching fluid back out when the fluid hose started taking in air. I started the dart up and gave it a test drive. the old fluid was burnt but not totally gone. the new fluid flushed the valve body already so next change will be refreshing that new fluid.
My fluid pump comes in tomorrow. I bought a jack and 4 jack stands just to do this. I'm hoping my 2014 Dart Limited is the same with the fill port and being able to access it. Still have a couple questions before I'm 100% confident: 1. Since I'm not using the scanning tool or dipstick, I should just aim to add the entire gallon of fluid after draining? 2. Because I'm using jack stands instead of wheel ramps, is it safe to start the car and run it through the gears while off the ground? 3. Where do you recommend I place each jack stand?
I would just drain it and add the 4 quarts since you are not using the dipstick. Running it through the gears is just to allow circulation before checking it. I usually support near the control arm in the front and somewhere similar in the rear.Thank you for watching.
I have just been doing the drain fill method and repeating the process once a year. Probably after the next drain fill I will switch to every 30k. There has been improvement and added smoothness with the transmissions performance. Thanks for the question.
This is some cool shit man thanks! I’m about to try to change my transmission fluid soon and I’ll go with this same fluid for my 2.0
Thank you for the feedback , much appreciated.
Me too! Good luck with yours
thanks for the tutorial.

Excellent , you will most likely notice some improvement. I know this one smoothed out quite a bit. Keep us updated.
Thanks. I just bought a ‘15 dart with 60k miles. I’m gonna do a drain and fill and looks pretty straight forward.
I appreciate the feedback , thank you.
Yall remember the good old days that cars had transmission fluid dip sticks to check and do flushes. How things have changed.
Exactly.

I agree someone design a dip stick tube, would be awesome. Great video.
I keep hoping any day now they will have an aftermarket dipstick tube. A lot of us would sure appreciate it. Thanks for the great feedback.
Maybe it was a half quart low to begin with. Also some of the fluid would have remained in the torque convertor right?
Is it the same for a 2015 dodge dart?
Yes , it is . Thank you for the question.
I appreciate the video Sir🫡
You are most welcome , thanks for the feedback.
Out of all times you did it. Has it always been 4 quarts ?
So when pumping the transmission fluid in there’s no leakage since it’s facing downward?
Got my 2016 dodge dart at 17K miles, it’s at 80K miles now. Should I do a flush? How often should I flush the transmission fluid?

Manual or automatic?
Automatic. Thanks for watching.

Much appreciated.
Nvm just seen it’s on the side
