I think I’d go for musicality and naturalness any day over super resolving iems as long as they are resolving enough for me to discern what’s what and where without the front stage. So this B3 looks like the sort of go over B2. Tha so for the nice review.
For real, they got the balance just right.
I have the Blessing 3 and have been listening to it for the last week or so. It really does have a very sweet and natural timbre. I was a bit concerned about the reported lack of mid-bass, and at first I was really focused on this, but after listening for a while to a variety of different genres and styles of music, I really don't miss it a whole lot. The sub bass is very very good. It's got some nice thump and is very clean and punchy on some tracks. The rest of the overall tuning is very well done and when you stop focusing on the details, it really sounds quite amazing and natural across the entire frequency range. It is still capable of some nice warmness and it's so smooth and easy to listen to, I would recommend that anyone who wants to try this IEM to settle into it a bit and let your ears get used to it. I did play with EQ a bit, but I found that it really is quite enjoyable in the default tuning. And if you try to boost the mid to upper bass region too much you'll dull some of the sweetness in the higher frequencies. It'll be interesting to see what Crinacle can come up with in the Dusk version, though. I can't imagine he would mess with the tuning a whole lot, considering that the B3 is tuned very similarly to the B2 Dusk.
B3 is gold.
The Kiwi Ears Quartet is a similar one but has more natural tuning I too am getting the B3 Dusk since I skipped the B3 this time
I have the B2 and Hook-X. I find they coexist nicely. They kept me satisfied, as a pair, for what is now close to a year. That’s a long time in this hobby. Only added the SSR for some extra neutral brightness, when I’m looking for that.
That’s a good trio you’ve got there.
For you adiotron which is better in separation and sounstatage, B2 or Hook-X?
@@criticactual hi. Hook-X wins on stage and separation. B2 wins on tonality, especially vocals. Treble is better extended with great timbre on the Hook-X. My daily driver is the Hook-X.
@@audio_tron Thanks!
I’m definitely looking forward to the Dusk. The drop in mid bass on these is the only thing stopping me from picking these up
Try the kiwi ears quartet for now it got the mid bass right with enough sub bass and airy treble
Oddly they graph much more lean than the aria or kato which have more bass and less treble overall. I wonder if it's unit variation or they just present differently from their graph.
I think it's the presentation. B3 sounds more coherent and relaxed. The mid bass is a bit less but the mids are really highlighted.
for the longest time I've bought dog IEMs because I thought "is just an in ear monitor lmoa hao gud can it b amirite" and never really gave a shit to actually look into the real differences. I always thought it was a meme.
anyway. I'm currently waiting for the zero reds because I'm still not fully sold that there's a magical difference between my doodoo 7 bucks akg and more expensive ones. I might end up buying the b3 if I get convinced that doodoo isn't worth it since after all I generally enjoy listening to music a lot
anyway nobody gives a shit about my opinion so I'm just gonna leave it with: thank you for the review, it was very helpful for me to understand more about the b3. subscribed
Hope they add a tad bass, mid bass and low the 8 khz in rhe new dusk version aaa and diminish the size of the self
How does it compared to Heyday in terms of technicality (soundstage, imaging, separation, layering, etc. ?
Heyday is more resolving and detailed. B3 sounds more natural and has a rounder soundstage.
@@PrimeAudioReviews from both, which is more suitable for busy/complex track like orchestra/soundtrack movies music genre?
@@Byebye_world Mangrid Tea 2 is the best for that
blessing 3 more detailed And Better separation than heyday, The soundstage kinda same
I have both and I will say that Heyday is nice if there's no singers. The vocalist is kinda "drowned" when I use that IEM.
These look like some chonky bois. How are they in weight compared to the OH10? I'm guessing the resin shell helps a lot.
Oh they are way lighter than OH10. They're really not that chunky.
@@PrimeAudioReviews weird, they looked big to me but it's probably some perspective thing tricking my eyes.
they are much lighter than the OH10's, but the OH10's fit most ears more comfortably (the OH10's are smaller in size, but have a copper shell, making them much heavier)
Hello, what’s the best budget earbud you’d recommend?
Are you talking about earbuds or in-ear monitors?
@@PrimeAudioReviews sorry I don’t understand your question.
A quick Google search will inform you on the difference between earbuds and earphones. Also, "budget" means different things to different people - are you talking about > $20 or >$100?
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks for your reply. Yes I googled in ear monitors and found out what it was haha. Umm preferably less than $100.
Ok, I would rec the Simgot EA500, KZ ZS10 Pro X or Kiwi Ears Cadenza.
It is both wired and wireless?
? No. It's wired. You can use it with Bluetooth receiver etc but out of the box, it's just a cable.
Hello,
I have been using premium true wireless earbuds (Sennheiser, B&O, Unique Melody etc.) for a few years but I would like to go one step further and buy a dac dongle for my iPhone and some wired earbuds. I'm looking for a crystal clear sound with dry and powerful bass (but not "artifacts" or overwhelming), incisive highs and above all very high volume, since I mostly listen to house/techno/minimal music/rock/pop (no classical at all). Documenting myself on TH-cam I would have thought of this set: Luxury Precision W4/W4 EX (I would also like to understand the difference between the two, from the listening point of view that I have described and to know if they are "plug and play") and Moondrop Blessing 3 (I since these iems use a 3.5 mm jack and I wanted to understand the difference with the balanced 4.4 mm one and if it can be used with these iems) Do you think it's a good choice?! Do you have any other tips for me?! I am truly a beginner in the field and would gladly take advantage of your advice! I await a kind reply. Thank's in advance.
Best,
Paolo Cermelli
P.S. I appreciate yr TH-cam videos and yr impartial approach!!!
Tbh my owb=n gameplan is to buy moondrop's littewhite bluetooth neckband adapters to pair with my Katos and buy the Blessing3's for home use. Might have to survive on cup noodles for a while since I'm buying a pc dac as well haha
Try Topping dx1, it’s perfect for those items. Little white should be okay I suppose.
Waiting for tax time so I can buy these. Upgrading from the Starfields finally.
That should be a nice upgrade!

they look nice but uncomfortable
Nah, they're really comfortable (for my ears). These are currently one of my favorites and definitely worth having a try. I'm sure you will fall in love with the sound.
you lost me when you said the raptgo hook x is fantastic, it's absolute garbage
Idk there pretty good
There are plenty of people that like the Hook. It was a refreshing departure from all the Harman tunings at the time.
