High quality cables Mattered, NICEHCK HICOTTON OR GrKing Flagship, clean bass, texture mid range and more cleaner sparkier treble, more control solid sound, improved 30% of any IEMS sound quality. Even 8 core 24 wires $25 blue cable works fantastic and amazing.
Only (great) good thing about them is the bass. Subs are also insanely good. BUT that's it, mids are just obliterated with just baby screams up top, highs are super thinned out so that hihats are papery, and then they compensate that mess with a huge bump around 12-13kHz which makes them sound piercing. To me super unnatural tuning.
You can buy dsp to get the dsp tuning then replace the cable with standard 3.5mm cable to get the normal version's tuning (higher bass and treble). So with the nozzles you get 4 tunings in 1 iem. As for hbb edition, it's subjective if you like more bass or not
I'm currently trying to find replacement for my Moondrop Aria(Original). Thought I really like the pair, I do want an upgrade in details and all. I mostly use iem for music(all type but mostly rock) and movies. What iem would be a direct upgrade to aria around 100 dollars or do I need to spend more?
Delci have leaner vocal better treble than EW300, EW300 WINS....... UPGRADE YOUR CABLE A MUST...... CHEERS. NO COMPLAIN AFTER CABLE UPGRADE, I HAVE CABLE SUGGESTIONS BELOW THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS.
Get one NICEHCK HICOTTON CABLE, THE VOCAL BASS TREBLE ARE PHENOMENOL ON EW300, THE DELCI EQUALLY AS GOOD BUT LESS BODY WEIGHT, CABLE UPGRADE FOR THE VERY BEST ENJOYMENTS. EW300 BETTER THAN THE PILGRIM FOR SURE. ACROSS ALL FREQUENCY.
Micro detail and imaging are significantly better on the EA500LM, the EW300 is flat and lacks any excitement, and fails to pull out much added detail, or "mastering Easter eggs" in songs. They aren't bad. But if you have the EW200, and like the sound, other than being warmer in tonality, the EW300 is sub par in every other category, for double the price. If you want a warmer tonality Hybrid IEM with good 3D presentation, good detail retrieval, solid sub bass performance, the go to has to be the Tangzu Fudu. Plus the accessory package and tips that come with the Fudu are a big bonus. An alternative, if you want a slightly brighter mid range and poaotional layering, is the Kenine Delci AE. The stock Silver nozzle is a slightly more tonally accurate updated tuning of the original Delci he talks about in this video. The Gold "Angel Ears" nozzle, adds a significant increase in mid range detail, airiness, sound stage, and instrument separation like I have not heard under the $200 price point. Unless you can get the EW300 for under $50, it isn't a good buy, IMHO.
The two sounded quite close when I A/Bed them. I think the LM edged out the EW300 (maybe like 10% better). The problem with the LM is the unit variance on that set. Some, including mine, were really bright out of the box. Thankfully I was able to tame them down with Simgot's tuning kit. EW300 seems to have tighter QC in comparison. For most people, I think the EW300 will be more agreeable to the ears.
Yeah, kinda but it depends on what you want. EA1000 and Supermix 4 are both leaner and brighter - they're more high fidelity and have better detail, wider stage etc. EW300 has a more musical tonality that is more fun and especially good for an everyday carry banger. It has more bass, great resolution and instrument separation and is non-fatiguing. But if you're looking for that 'audiophile' neutral experience, the others come closer to that.
Wow, an unexpected but interesting question! I've had good experiences with SanDisk SD cards in the past. You don't need a fast one for audio so you can pick up high-capacity cards at great prices (just make sure you buy from reputable sellers to avoid fakes).
sandisk ultra is a good high quality sd card as long as you arent using it on steam deck (slow for downloading and installing GAMES), but even then it's fine.
How would they compare to the zero reds? I feel like the reds are balancing between still being the standard and being constantly overshadowed and outclassed by new releases
I really need to spend another day with the Hexa, it's been ages since I listened to it. I also need to measure it again on my current rig. But from memory, EW300 has more body and warmth in the lower mids - Hexa puts it all into the sub-bass, so you get cleaner mids but less engagement.
Warm = Tangzu Fudu Neutral Warm = Delci AE Silver. Relaxed Bright = Delci AE Gold Brighter Detail = EA500LM (find the nozzle that you like best, for me it's the Red Silver) The White Tiger slots in between the Delci AE with the Gold Nozzle and the EA500LM. But I have yet to hear it for myself, but other reviews rate it well. For me personally, if you have had a previous IEM like the EW200, you best upgrade with be the Delci AE with the Gold nozzle. Otherwise if you want warm tuning... Get the Fudu, it is technically superior to the EW300 in every way.
@PrimeAudioReviews The Artti T10 is a great sounding iem... It even gives the Letshuoer S12 2024 a run for its money imo. However, sadly, it is somewhat plagued with QC issues... I'm on my third one... Thank goodness for Amazon customer service...😕
E20 is more V-shaped and has a leaner lower midrange. It also has more lift in the presence region, so if you're looking for good dynamics and excitement, the E20 is great. The EW300 is a safer/warmer tuning but less crisp.
If people don't have a good cable, then don't judge or complain the sound of EW300, l would pick this over the Pilgrim for sure better than across all frequency than the Pilgrim. 8 core 240 wire affordable cable will do an amazing job with 7HZ 71 DAC AMP. TEST WITH VIVO MUSIC VIDEO ON TH-cam, HEAVENLY SOUND. NICEHCK HICOTTON, GrKing Flagship and higher price NICEHCK CABLE ARE ALL PREMIUM CABLES, DRAGONSCALE........ SO ON.....

You came to nearly the same conclusion I did. The segment is too good, with too many great choices. The one major difference being that I found the EW300 unbelievably underwhelming. In isolation they are fine, comparatively, they are severely lacking in detail, layering, and sound stage. And present is very spacially flat and 2 dimensional way. I also discovered the EW300 has some real issues with driver cohesion that is very tip and anatomy dependent. Some people experience some weird phase issues thay come off almost like ANC. Not sure if that is because of the microplanar being in phase with the DD in the driver stack, or somthing in the the cross over with the PZT, but it's there, and very distracting. Tone Deaf Monk had a similar experience as i did with the EW300 driver cohesion. For my money, the Tangzu Fudu offers a similarly warmer tonality, but doesnt suffer from a lack of detail, lack of soundstage, or lack of technicalities like the EW300, and has slightly more bass, and a great set of included tips. Secondary to that, if you want a more logical upgrade to the EW200 sound, with a more mature tuning and better technicalities, the Kefine Delci AE is the perfect sweet spot. The silver nozzle is a slightly less colored version lf the original Delci tuning, and the Gold AE nozzle is an instrument layering 3D tour de force, with a slightly brighter, yet still laid back presentation. So you can lean warmer or brighter with the same IEM. And finally, like you, the EA500LM being in the same price bracket as the EW300, with three excellent tuning nozzle options, makes the EW300 a very poor value proposition. As the detail and bass performance lf the EA500LM easily exceeds the EW300 in every possible way. And is a well known and established IEM. Personally, I have removed the EW300 from my recommendations list, because there are too many other, arguably better, options available in the same peoce point. The only Semi-Recommendation i can make for thr EW300, is the the DSP version, as it has the cool black hammered finish, and the DSP cable does help the tonality of the IEM, and you can always swap to a standard cable if you dont want DSP. So it makes more sense in the space, as an IEM for someone without a Dongle DAC, who is buying their first quality IEM. In isolation, they will be very happy with the EW300. But outside of that, it is still overpriced for what it is, and lags behind the competition in sound performance and dynamics.
Thanks. Learning it slowly.

@@Code-l8i I own both, yet I prefer the EW300.

I never really liked the Reds. EW300 has more mid-bass punch and better resolution. Reds has slightly better mids timbre.
are u talking about TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero RED?
Just bought Hexas last week. Thoughts on how they compare?
Totally different style of sound signature. EW300 is flat and warm, where the Hexa is bright and dry.

Sales on these at AliExpress, on all 3 models, not sure which to go for.
They're all pretty safe - small variations of the Simgot house sound. Just grab the one you think looks the best.
