Something tells me if Yami was possessed it wasn’t the 5 Headed Devil Dragon but another devil who is against him. My theory is that dragon was planning to controlled the whole Yami’s clan with his black water so the devil possessed Sukehiro to help prevent that which massacre most of his clan in the process.
And yami was blamed for it. He was a child as well so maybe it was he was the one who got possesed. And went berserk. Smn like william n patri. So they killed the sukehiro clan, and yami either ran away to protect ichika, or out fishing. Either way, he got lost and most likely ended up in the clover kingdom. Cause they are called kijin. They are deadly warrior's. Maybe they tried to get more power and awakened a demon? But what i dont understand, is why he didnt take her? Theres alot missing. If you have seen Naruto specifically itachis story it's literally spoken the same way. Sukehiro probably got angry at his clan for trying to overthrow the country and before they made their attempt he massacred them for the sake of his country and for his little sister

My theory: The Yami Clan seems, from what we've seen through that flashback and Yami's sister's words, a bunch of power driven blokes who favor war over peace. Yami and his sister are portrayed as outliers in their ideology, likely taking after their mother. Yami likely faced an Itachi-like scenario, where he had to choose between following orders, or their own heart. And in this case, Yami chose to kill the warmongering Yami Clan, sparing his sister, likely the only other member of the clan who would choose a peaceful country, in a self sacrificing act. His sister of course only saw the act, never knowing why Yami would slaughter them. (Despite what that old fart was insinuating in that flashback. But eh, child mind.) He then underwent a self-imposed exile, fleeing the country for somewhere else. So yeah. Yami is an Itachi who chose good, but still underwent exile, and Yami's sister is Sasuke, but a girl. I bet the current standing Shogun knew all this from the start, but just didn't tell Yami's sister.
The contaminated fish leads me to believe that eating it may have had an effect on the clan, making them go insane, so Yami had to kill them before they destroyed the entire nation
What if yami's dad was telling the truth about rye having magic, cuz in this chap we saw him with both of his eyes, so what if he had to sacrifice his magic and one of his eyes to be able to 'see everything happening'
I’m think the similarities to Itachi slaughtering his clan are to throw us off. However, I’m thinking both Asta and Ichika are correct. Yami did indeed slaughter his whole clan. The only problem is that Ichika repressed the cause of it. I’m thinking Ichika’s power was dormant and uncontrollable at the time, very much like young Gohan. In a drunken stupor, Ichika’s dad threatened to kill her and Sukehiro was away for a moment. Without his protection and desperate to protect herself, Ichika’s dormant power erupted. Many of the clansmen saw this and turned to kill her for it. However, before they could, Sukehiro returns and saves her. Unfortunately, the rest of the clan attacks so Sukehiro slaughters the entire clan in order to protect Ichika.
and ichika comes back to her senses and sees yami in the bloodbath.....and i guess yami tells ryuu to not tell ichika that she was the one responsible and yami decided to take the blame on himself and run away(man that literally makes sense)
Sukehiro/Ichika's father said that the Heir of Feudal Lord(Ryuuya) is probably second to Sukehiro in terms of having more/stronger Yoryoku, but then we see currently Ryuuya said that he has no yoryoku(at least faint) My theory is, He Himself made a contract to... probably a devil, In exchange of his every Yoryoku, he will get that Powerful, Omniscient, Clairvoyant Eye that can see every folding events (Possibly Globally) also, if he was aware to what happened to that massacre, why he didn't told ichika how it really unfold or what is behind/reason of that incident, or... if he did lie to ichika, why? highly suspicious
I don't really think that Yami was possessed during the murder of their clan. But instead, it was Lucius who used his transformation magic (The one Julius uses when disguising into a old woman) to make himself look like Yami and killed the whole clan. The reason maybe as to why they didn't notice it wasn't Yami anymore is because of their mastery of Ki is not that great yet or they still don't know how to sense Ki at that time. There is a possibility that all of this happen while Yami was away since the last memory Yami knew before landing on the Clover Kingdom is that he was fishing, was drag out by the sea resulting his boat getting destroyed and finally landing onto the Clover Kingdom. If this is the case, there is a chance that Yami's sister would play a huge role in the upcoming story which would involve her and Yami having some sort of conflict that would benefit Lucius in the long run.
Another thought aligning with this theory, I think Ryu knew that it wasn't Yami who killed the entire clan but instead Lucius since I believe that during at that time Ryu has the ability to sense Ki already but maybe since Ichika can't sense Ki at that time (Which would make sense as to why their father call her weak) she really thought it was Yami who killed their entire clan. For the reason why Ryu didn't tell Ichika the truth, I think he wanted Ichika to have a reason or motivation to become stronger so that one day she would have the power to defeat or at least fight the one who really killed their clan (which is Lucius) since he himself doesn't have magic and can only guild her to defeat the real culprit.

I actually just finished reading a real old tale of my country and many novels in my school's library seriously I read 12 or 14 novels already I think, Of course my favorite Novel is The Raven's Gate Series By Antony Horowitz
Just reached the end of the video now and I realised that the fact that Yami was possessed back then by a devil in the Land of the Rising Sun, it might explain why Yami's present body composition of a Devil now doesn't hurt him since a devil was already within Yami once.
My theory: Yami clan is supposed to be the guardian of the island and responsible for taking care of the black sea. The dragon has been trying to make chaos on the island by corrupting the people/fish on the sea. 1: Capt. Yami was totally under the dragon's control or 2: When Capt. Yami went fishing, and the dragon imitated his image and killed the clan. The younger sister was left alive (considering Capt. Yami already died while fishing) because black magic is needed to unleash somewhat the dragon again or its body. After the event, the dragon possessed Ryu or he is the dragon itself. His eye's real power is his vision is somewhat connected to what every devil sees. 3: The Island is really located in the very deep of hell. 4: The main plot is to unleash the dragon from the deep of hell. Asta's Anti-magic is another key for freeing the dragon. 5: The dragon is the original Rank 1 devil or its main goal is to be the no. 1.
I think yami didn’t kill his clan and it was his father who went rampage and killed them all. And when yami saw that he fought his father and killed him, making him look like he is the one who killed his clan. His father seems pretty aggressive and doesn’t want peace so that would make sense
The Yami clan probaby don't accept impurities therfore yamis father plotted to kill her because he thinks she's holding him back from training but she didn't know about it
Less of an impurities and more of strength. His dad probably saw Ichika as a weakling, much like her mom. But unlike her mother, his love of his wife is what makes him so angry about ichika being born due to the fact that he seeing her as the killer of his wife. An the man is a damn alcoholic, his drinking problem is most likely stems from the dead of his wife.
I believe that who Yami's Sister See wasn't Really Yami at all Cause Yami Loved Going Fishing and maybe the was Who so Ever Took the Opportunity to Transform themselves into as Yami and making it looked like Yami Slaughtered His Entire Clan just like what Itachi Did with the Uchiha Clan, or If Not Yami was Set up and theirs a possible that Every Member of his Clan was Taken over and tried to Kill Yami and Which Pushed him to Kill them.
Actually I think that yami's father and Clan wanted to kill Ryu's entire family and he killed them to save Ryu and fled because they would not believe that his clan would do so.
Also what if it was the rest of the Yami clan was possessed by the phenomenon that caused the black water, and Yami had to dispose of them to save the rest of the land of the rising sun??
Yamis clan got their power through maybe one of their ancestors bathing in the black water as abd said that the water was caused by the leakage of the dragon

Just reached the end of the video now and I realised that the fact that Yami was possessed back then by a devil in the Land of the Rising Sun, it might explain why Yami's present body composition of a Devil now doesn't hurt him since a devil was already within Yami once.
My theory: Yami clan is supposed to be the guardian of the island and responsible for taking care of the black sea. The dragon has been trying to make chaos on the island by corrupting the people/fish on the sea.
1: Capt. Yami was totally under the dragon's control or
2: When Capt. Yami went fishing, and the dragon imitated his image and killed the clan. The younger sister was left alive (considering Capt. Yami already died while fishing) because black magic is needed to unleash somewhat the dragon again or its body.
After the event, the dragon possessed Ryu or he is the dragon itself. His eye's real power is his vision is somewhat connected to what every devil sees.
3: The Island is really located in the very deep of hell.
4: The main plot is to unleash the dragon from the deep of hell. Asta's Anti-magic is another key for freeing the dragon.
5: The dragon is the original Rank 1 devil or its main goal is to be the no. 1.

I think yami didn’t kill his clan and it was his father who went rampage and killed them all. And when yami saw that he fought his father and killed him, making him look like he is the one who killed his clan. His father seems pretty aggressive and doesn’t want peace so that would make sense

I believe that who Yami's Sister See wasn't Really Yami at all Cause Yami Loved Going Fishing and maybe the was Who so Ever Took the Opportunity to Transform themselves into as Yami and making it looked like Yami Slaughtered His Entire Clan just like what Itachi Did with the Uchiha Clan, or If Not Yami was Set up and theirs a possible that Every Member of his Clan was Taken over and tried to Kill Yami and Which Pushed him to Kill them.
Actually I think that yami's father and Clan wanted to kill Ryu's entire family and he killed them to save Ryu and fled because they would not believe that his clan would do so.
