i hope before this happens ( if it were ), asta’s sword/s break and that’s what causes him to have to use anti magic through his body without the swords & can also potentially open up a arc for dwarves

They did go through some intense training of their own over the time skip, I’m glad to see it’s paying off and coming in clutch in moments like this. We still don’t know what everyone can do yet!

Which is kind of fitting since we all know Asta is at least vice captain level (actually Wizard King level) and he can't assume that position over Nacht so Nacht needs to be captain with Asta as his VC.. Asta, Yami and Nacht represent the key aspects of Junguan psychology which we know also inspired BC because of the dark Triad Asta is the Self, Yami being the ego and Nacht being the Shadow 🥴 very nice touch there Tabata
I wouldnt be surprised if by the end Asta loses himself in his devil form and Yuno or someone has to kill him the betrayal that had to be done i wanna see that not gonna lie

Asta can have a self-sacrifice moment where he drags Lucifero into the underworld, through a dark world tree portal. Then pushing all kinds of character development for the black bulls as they could be left with no leadership but Nacht, meaning Noelle leadership growth(maybe).
The way Yami is written, you would think he was the main protagonist in a previous prologue series and is now helping the new main characters after already being OP from the adventures in his previous series. Lol
What I feel is that tabata is not gonna do anything like the underworld ark coz many people are already assuming that happening but tabata may want to surprise many of the fans by doing something unexpected.
I hate when people assume mangaka won't do the expected. These guys plan out their stories for awhile, just because some weirdos on the internet guess right dosen't mean they'll change the story to be unexpected
That is the best thing though and we want actual loss. If they keep winning then everything will be written into a corner. Exploring the underworld and the history of the Devils is the most natural and best way to carry the story forward. It also allows us to see a world without Asta etc and how the others will have to grow to fill those shoes.
Man, am i glad i played SMT because alot of this lore and the names of norse gods and demons and their mythology is explored all the time in that series. Baldur was in Smt Devil Survivor and Mistletoe is exaclty how they defeated him and he was immune to everything else. Nice to see learning about that reference had some relevance lol.

I wanna say Yami's chance of surviving has only gone up a bit. Don't think Nacht is dying, but aside from Asta, what about Patri? This makes a lot of sense. Asta's death brings about the end of the Clover Kingdom, tying into what Julius saw that might happen. I'm still thinking Lecita is somehow tied to all this.
