Trying to Stop My Sickle Mower from Clogging Up!!!

Making some repairs and possible upgrades to my New Holland 44 45 46 Sickle Mower. Replacing broken Knife Guard, broken Hold Down Clip for Knife, and New Metal Grass Board.

I notice that the inner shoe is riding behind your rear tire.... that can cause clogging as the inner shoe would not be riding in the the cleared area that the swathboard leaves from the previous swath.. Maybe be able to mount the rig a couple or 3 bolt holes of the drawbar to the right to make that inner shoe ride in it's proper location provided it doesn't interfere with the pto shaft.

Nice catch. You are correct, but my major problem was the ledger on the outer shoe. I happened to be near Messicks for work and they had one in stock. Put it on and cuts like it is new. Thanks for watching.

I have the same series of money although mine is a full trailering type. Seems to works pretty good. Mine is missing that big spring though on the lifting mechanism ?

I actually changed the shoe on the end and got it working perfectly this year. We will be doing second cut in a couple of weeks
