Played Fifa all my life, now PES for the first time. Gameplay-wise I've always missed the tactical aspect in Fifa, it's just take the ball, do some lightning-fast passes and rush forward. That's not how football works. PES is slow enough to actually let you play a certain type of football, possession or one-touch and all the like are entirely possible to be utilized. Also, playing Fifa with 6-8min halves is almost too much, as the game is too fast for that. In PES, I really don't use anything below 12 min total, because I feel like you really need a bit of time, again since it's more tactical and slower-paced than its counterpart.
PES and FIFA been playing them both since 1994 ISS and FIFA international Soccer but PES always has been the GamePlay kings for me and FIFA visually better.
Lloyd ...he won. I have seen TTB play the realistic PES and lost because of the broken AI. He was surprised himself to see how amazing the game was. He tried to Tiki Taka ...couldnt do it. Hopefully you will see why 350 million has made the choice not to play PES.
@@bobbycooke6159 Sorry, but watching this game was more evidence that FIFA isn't a good representation of football on the pitch. Ice skating with ping pong passes, rubber-banding with defenders catching strikers who are through and an AI that doesn't look at all threatening going forwards. The very fact that a non-FIFA player wins his first match on a hard setting against one of the very best teams in the game while commentating proves it all.
FIFA players looks like floating and their ball physics was poor compare with PES. but FIFA 360 movement already used over a decade, and Konami still using same Fox Engine.
I like to play online against random people. I played PES for years, but swtiched to FIFA last year after getting bored with PES 2019 after 2 months. If you play online and like the FUT/MyClub type mode (or even the Online Division mode), FIFA is way better. Yes, gameplay is way more realistic in PES but that go out of the window when you play PES online. Also like TTB, I am in the U.S. and PES has no presence at all... it's even worse when you play online, you constantly get matched with people in South America and the connection get really laggy when you actually find an opponent.
In online its basically if the scripting is on ur side u can just press pass 5 times and it will make perfect defensive line cut forward pass and u will find urself 1on 1 with the keeper without even aiming the pass. If the scripting is againts u, u can aim as much as u want, ur gonna lose the ball.
@@captainwasel8377 yeah running is strange asf players feel awkward on the pitch and pace is there yes, but you have to be 5'7-5'10 to actually run fast but you can get muscled so easily even if you have 85+ balance it makes no sense Sterling, Messi, Bernado Silva and Coutinho have insane balance in real life and even when they get bodied they still stay on the ball but in fifa they're are like little dolls being launched
As a FIFA fan who craved a proper good player career, the PES 2020 demo convinced me to get the full game because playing against the AI felt leagues above FIFA's AI. The option file is the icing on the cake. However, I can't see myself playing PES online. I still prefer the responsiveness of FIFA when I play against other people. Most of your points for each game are accurate, so it just comes down to personal preference.
Aaron Penfold hey calm down let’s not go insane, also everyone saying that pes is better than fifa,as a former fifa fan I still respect pes 2020 for its features and gameplay, don’t go insane on people
Not played but the movement of players is clearly still unnatural. Like the players dont weigh anything and can shift balance to easily which plays into the speed of the game. Fifa is driven by FUT and if their gameplay was like PES then FUT fans would leave. It has to be fast. But in career mode the gameplay detracts from the experience. PES easily a better representation of football.
Nobody plays PES because of the fake "realism" of a broken game every year. Why do you think TTB made this video? To see why millions and millions hate PES and choose this arcade game play. PES is dead ...nobody plays it.
@@lukare2972 Thinking? Are you taking a piss mate? PES sells 500k units while Fifa sells over 350 million units and you're questioning my knowledge ....are you serious bro. Where do you like....in a cave or something?
I like the individual instructions on FIFA more freedom to it, but I also like that in PES the players play more like themselves because of the playing styles and anchoring/offersive/defensive awareness attribute. And there's also the position suitability
Agree. Pes doesn't need something that may override the excellently implemented player id. However i wouldn't complain if they brought back the customizable arrow direction things in formation settings from pes6.
Neeraj vibez this is the new excuse 'players play more like themselves' that's BS never have i seen this in PES ...The individual instructions beats PES hands down ..In Fifa 20 there is even a new instruction for the CDM which wasn't in 19 It's a instruction to stay between your two CBs basically using a CDM as a very defensive player adding effectively another CB ..In Fifa i can instruct Aubameyang to stay forward , tell Bellerin and Tierney to overlap on the wings what Liverpool do irl with Arnold and Robertson ... Interesting to hear TTB admitting presentation , ambient and atmosphere miles ahead of PES , been telling you this but PES PC players add mods to try and get PES as good as Fifa ..Which fails ..EA do a better job . The demo is actually a older build a few months old , the beta was more closer to the final build why Fifa players are excited , i play Fifa 20 tomorrow because i have EA access so i'll be playing it early ...I saved money not buying PES 20 it hasn't changed much add cutscenes the game is a carbon copy of 19 very disappointing not my words neither actually PES fans who i talk to on Twitter said this ..Their dumping PES 20 for Fifa 20 some things never change ...Like i said Konami don't care .
Every tactic you mention can be done in pes, it just goes by a different (silly) name, like counter target, attacking fullbacks and defensive. It's limited to just 4 slots though, not as much freedom as the player instructions on fifa. But that is because pes gameplay doesn't really benefit from the instructions... you're supposed to pick your 11 based on what they can do (that's why playing styles are so important) rather than telling them what to do. You tweak their roles based on how the match progresses, which is why the advanced settings are set to toggle. In fifa, the last i played was 16 and 17 (picked them over pes) and now playing fifa 20 demo.where i didn't see much individual player behaviour. But perhaps that's why instructions are necessary - to create said behaviour. Also in fifa i never worried too much if i picked the right player for the role because chances are if he messed up he wouldn't be exposed too much, whereas in pes one wrong player selection can be the difference between winning or losing and scoring 5 or conceding 5. Anyway Rocket League is the only real football sim. 😉 Really reminds you of being on a pitch where you and the ball have complete freedom.
@@The_Dead_Zone FIFA doesn't have playing styles or traits or positional suitability or tactical preferences. The AI in PES is way too complicated already. It's not an excuse, I just understand why it's hard
One thing you mentioned. Yes there are two soccer/football games to choose from...Here in the states there is only one American football game Madden...There is only one baseball game but only if you own a PS4...and only one hockey game. So if the game sucks your stuck with it...The battle with FIFA and PES is good for both. Making both makers willing to improve their product. With the other sports games your pretty much stuck with what they give you.
Underrated comment there man. I always said we are priviledged to have these two games. I've been a fifa fan all my life, PES was always the side deal. When I got my PS4, I always got PES at those ridiculous sales period where the game was like 10 dollars. But sicne FIFA has been disappointing me in the past few years, this year I pre ordered PES and boy the experience is great this year. We are priviledged that we can choose from two good games.
I dont think EA care at all. They know it will sell millions of copies and that people will continue to waste their money on FUT. What real improvements have they really made since fifa 14? The least amount possible. At least with Pes you can see what they are doing to improve the game.
Actually PES isn't hard if u play the match with the proper formation ,style, tactics ... but FIFA you can play as u want but the score line is decided by the computer.
for me personally, i enjoy both. i always get fifa on the release and play it. when i am bored in january or february, i will pick up pes (it is cheap and all the awesome mods are out) and play master league until the new fifa comes out.
Corner kick strategies are good but a decent player converts more than 50 percent of the corners. On top of that, ronaldo in corners is just an absolute joke. This is laughable considering corners are the least productive offensive set piece in football.
Match ratings and the commentary is what I wish they could change in Pes. I literally can't play fifa because of the player movement and the ball physics.
Konami's player rating system has been abysmal for over a decade. A CDM can boss the midfield but get a match rating of 6/10 just because he doesn't score or assist. Konami has no clue what they are doing. PES fans have to demand more from them. FIFA is miles better. It's not even close.
I've taken a jump to PES after playing fifa for the last decade, I love the fifa carer mode building my own squad but I can't give EA anymore of my hard earned cash for the same tripe with a couple of changes every year. PES beats fifa on gameplay hands down but I've tried master league and I cant get into it, there's no immersion building a squad and managing my budget, i'm gutted but there's no way i'm buying fifa again
Try the ml squad. You get to watch your squad grow and you always start in the second league if there is one. The teams also change depending on region
I have also been playing Fifa for a decade. I play career mode. I bought pes this year I advise you give it a couple of days to get used to master league you will soon understand it like me, Obv still more to learn but that’s what I like about ML because Fifa career mode is the same crap and easy to buy players and deal with contracts etc with pes it’s a bit more harder.
It's always had the presentation, the atmosphere and the authentic feel of football, till you played it... then it was just an arcade game, which is absolutely fine if you want that pick up and play experience, and I always ended up buying FIFA over PES for those reasons. This year I got PES, and it hurts my eyes to even watch Fifa now. It still has all the glitz and glam, but the animations are comically too fast, arms and legs flailing, as they run, and the ball physics seem like they're stuck in animation with the player. In PES the ball feels like a genuine separate entity, not stuck to the players feet so much. I'll end up with both as my 7yr old son wants FIFA 20 for Christmas. But for me PES has come on leaps and is really catching up as genuine competition now, which is great for all of us
The thing I like about PES is that every player feels diferent. You can tell every player has a different skill set and different movement, in FIFA everyone moves and feels the same maybe a little faster or slower but that's it
You can anticipate by cutting opponent's passes' possibilities just by placing your players, or just to bother. You also have square button to make your nearest AI pal to defend while you're blocking an other side with the controlled player. You also don't specially have to press X to get the ball, if you challenge cleverly to sneak the ball. You can up your defenders on pitch by holding d-pad to the opposite goal or made them go down by pressing toward your own goal. You can adjust the whole team placement with up and down on d-pad. Double X make your player manually stretch the leg to intercept, you also have O to slide tackle, double square to rush with multiple players to the owner of the ball. Plus all the strategies you can add in real time....And I certainly forget lots of stuff..
@@saka3364 even when I play groundbreaking defense the ball's random movement on PES makes the ball fall back to the other attacker at times. I'm actually pretty decent with defense on PES but I suck at attack I'm still playing fifa only this year though
i played ever fifa since 2006 but im not gonna play fifa 20 im tired of ea and their bullshit im switching to pes this year. I played and love the demo and they deserve my money
I like both games they offer different things but PES does need tighter presentation, Have you tried a South American Master League Save? Try using River Plate in PES as the presentation and stadium atmosphere etc is completely different to the European leagues with Fireworks, Flares, Balloons, Confetti all over the shop...
I did a River one last year and El Monumental was rocking, mad they can do it for those sides but not for the European ones. Won't ever do a River one on FIFA as not the same with no Boca.
Nice comparision and commentary. Been playing PES since PES 2017 came out. Before that i only knew of fifa... Now i might go back to FIFA again , altough i like the gameplay on PES better. But FIFA has the ambience and presentation, injuries, hands and the random regen system. I also get the scandinavian leagues like Allsvenskan and Eliteserien
First thing first, I like very much your commentary. Good quality. About the Fifa vs PES, I think this year Fifa its more enjoyable than last year. I enjoy playing it, and I have fun. Pes sometimes gets me bored or frustrated, maybe because of its slow gameplay... But it's a really good game either. But what I am looking for on a game it's fun, and fifa has what I want, having fun, online and off too. Carreer mode are good too.
@@macokizlong14 i have fifa 18 and 19 and pes 18, 19 and currently playing pes 20 lite and I've never seen scripting in pes. Scripting in fifa its a real huge problem that has to be solved.
Hey, I played Fifa for so long. I loved it sooo much. I liked playing fifa everyday before work and everyday after work. It was amazing. Then during this year, after doing 2 or 3 Road to glories, I got bored of Career mode. I started watching vids and watched the Real Madrid career mode from TruBrits. I got the demo and I was like huh? 😳... What the hell? I got back to fifa. It was easy and boring. So I played the demo over and over. Now I'm doing a career mode with ManU on PES having gotten the full game and joined PES universe. Truth be told there are things I wish I could have. But the fact that Bournemouth can beat me 3-1 because of their tactics and Brighton can help me appreciate a 2-0 win and a game with Hearts can end 0-0 makes every game amazing and unique You have to know football, you have to be patient to enjoy PES... I love and hate the game at the same time... But greatly enjoy it. I won't be getting Fifa this year. Its all pes. The sad thing is there is no 3rd and 4th divisions, there is no other cup games and what not. Everything else aside from actually playing the game I'd change on PES. Its amazing.
Yes, I'd love for them to open up the editing even more so you could add divisions to the leagues. The community is so vibrant that the extra teams would be created and shared around.
I agree 100% Fifa has really good presentations and updated team chants every year or so. Also the stadiums 36 in pes and one is even the same stadium just different name and around 120 in FIFA...Also, the crowd in pes sound always the same no matter you play 80k stadium or sports park... They really need to step up with the presentations no updates since 2014.
they could decrease the rating if you instruct player to do something that doesn't match their player id and they will eventually develop such style of playing in time.
@Andrew Scott By that I meant the playing styles (Destroyer, Poacher, Prolific Winger, Target Man etc). Those things already define a player's instructions to a large extent (The kind of runs they make, the positions they take up, etc). That would clash with the instructions system FIFA has
@@prajjwolghimire6619 That actually makes sense tbh. They could the existing playing styles to specific parts of the instructions and the more your instructions clash with the player's playing style, the lower the player rating and team chemistry, not bad...complicated but not bad
If I could take some features from FIFA and add it to PES, they'd be: 1. Ptich (grass! Looks so real) 2. Presentation of the match (crowd, cut scenes) 3. Licenses (All of them! :P ) That's all.
@Andrew Scott well, the stuttering is what makes a game robotic. Animations are motion captured, the transitioning within the game is what makes it robotic or not
@Andrew Scott it should be stiff and heavy. Players can't turn and run in every situation in real life. Also, the ball and the player are independent objects in PES unlike FIFA. Sometimes, the player will find in hard to control the ball - not a problem in FIFA because the ball is glued to the foot Hence its smooth and responsive The stiffness is actually realism. The best thing to do such a tight situation is engage close control. Don't spam sprint as in FIFA lol
Not a Fifa hater. But if you play both Pes and Fifa you will definitely see huge difference in gameplay. You will mostly score similar kind of goals in almost every game. But in Pes out of 10 goals scored 7 goals will be different.
@@hardkore360 i am on pc, but the servers are good, only when ur pc doesn't meet the specs thats when u get a lag, but there are many opponents to find.
Its stale because he was new to the game and kept giving the ball away. It sometimes happens anyway but you can get dominated on pes too on the tougher settings, which makes for a dull match. Watch someone like Krasi play and it looks more exciting.
it's the same animation transition, doesn't matter who's playing it. PES movements are only occasionally robotic or weird. FIFA right here is robotic full 90mins
@Andrew Scott actually most pes players thoroughly critique every fault within the game/gameplay. Just look through some pes forum or on reddit and you'd realise that.
@Andrew Scott Honestly, you literally need to be in the PES forum for many years from now on. Not many FIFA players are critical enough towards FIFA games, by the way. Licensing and online modes always keep them on playing, not just because of their love of the game.
Pes has counter attacking players, players to join attacking (corner kick), marking setting and players role. Now they just added inspired system 🙆 good enough but could be more. About the crowd atmosphere I think konami has set the limitation for ps4 specs for smooth fps so next gen platform hopefully we will see some changes. Overall needs some tweaks in the audio this year and it would be perfect.
Another thing I like of Pes is that PES gives every single player a particular game style inspired to how they play in real life. For example Messi in PES is a Roaming Flank, in a few words a false winger that picked passes in the midfield for creating chances for his teammates or cutting inside with his natural foot to shoot. That's literally whats Messi does in real life. Other players with this ability are Salah, Couthinho ecc. Its also detailed in the kind of tactics managers or players use. For example Sarri in PES like Guardiola and other coaches he is a Possession Game master, His best formation is 4-3-3, but also a 4-3-1-2 is good. He plays Offensive game, he prefers playing short passes, he attacks from wide, he is weak in counter attacks and he is pressing is mainly aggressive. That means to play well with him you need players that have more or less his same tactical gamestyle. Players like Messi, Busquets, De Bruyne or Xavi who use Possession Game too in PES would fit him Tactically Pes is Masterclass, you can learn a lot about tactics just by literally playing a game
8:43 “If you don’t play a pass at the right time in PES, you lose the ball, that’s just how it works” *makes a pass at the wrong time and loses the ball*
FIFA since 06 and since 15 I have been scoring goals the same way, over and over again. Pass out from back Play to midfield 1-2 with winger Cut inside Pass ball to att. Midfielder Through ball to striker Goal... FIFA is great but really feels repetitive sometimes to me...Good game still. I am going to purchase 20, just because it seems better to play with friends. Scoring a goal in PES however feels rewarding. Will give PES2020 a try this season.

Play pes for any amount of time and then jump to fifa and it literally feels like ice skating football compared to pes. Presentation is second to none in fifa though
Turning the game speed up by one on PES2020 helped with the sluggishness, made the game a lot funner, but I turn down the speed when I want a more simulation-like feel. I subbed because this was a great video and because you have a mad good voice 😂
I wish switching between PES and FIFA was simple. They both lack in different areas and sometimes you just want to play FIFA because of the amazing presentation but once you get in game you're completely useless because you're now accustomed to playing PES and it's a completely different way to play.
I've bought both pes and Fifa for the past 10 years. Tried the fifa demo this year. And I dont know why I even bothered downloading the demo. It's so similar to 19 which is a game I barely played. My 10 year fifa run is over.
I’m the same, although if anything I’d say Fifa 20 seems worse than fifa 19, it’s a horrible mix of arcade like and realistic, it’s as though EA can’t decide which one it wants the game to be. The only reason I still buy Fifa is because my whole friend group does too. Pes has been far superior since the 2016 games for me, much more enjoyable as a game
@@randomsimpsonsquotes6033 Played fifa for a few hours at a mates house last night. I never usually go along with fifa is arcade and pes is simulation but this year it has never been so apparent. I've bought two as well and i have the same feeling, fifa 20 is to similar to fifa 19 . i felt a huge different from 18 to 19 but 19 to 20 not, and pes 20 is great, i felt a a leap in that game, and the graphics as superior

I've grown up on PES as well, picked up FIFA 17 as my first serious fifa title, tried them before that but never could get into it. After 17 18 and 19 I picked up PES again this year because I was blown away by the demo. As I mentioned in your other videos PES will always have bettee gameplay for me, but my favorite game for the last 4 years is definitely FIFA. Especially with the problems of PES2020, I sold my copy after like 4 days of getting it. Will be buying FIFA 20 purely for the online experience that doesnt punish me in playing my favorite and hard earned players, never buying fifa points or my club coins so it takes time to get to something decent in fifa along with the rng/luck blessing you at times. But I feel myclub just hands you all these amazing players on a platter and then from my perspective I don't find amusement in that. To end this on a somewhat positive note to most of your fanbase/viewers, I'll be rebuying pes 2020 during the xmas holidays when the price is lower, and hopefully the game is fixed by then.
Love seeing you try fifa tho. I know this is a Pes channel and you are a pes guy which is why I love watching you but as a life long fifa player and recently a pes player for the past two years, I still love fifa more. A game is about having fun and being immeresed in it so it doesn’t feel like a game as much and fifa does that for me way more than Pes. But there’s things about both I love.
It's funnier and not that complicated . In PES is too hard to skill , and if I would have wanted a real experience I would have gone outside and played football myself
yeah I understand but I would rather play the premier league by downloading it on pes which looks very realistic, despite having a lack of atmosphere, Fifa just looks unnatural which is NOt right for a football game which is based off reality
I've had every FIFA for 10 years and finally reached breaking point. I've infrequently bought PES in that time. I prefer offline and PES AI generally offers much more of a challenge and feels a lot less like playing a formula on the higher difficulties. But they do need to dial some stuff back to the demo for this year's PES. I like the fact things are more deliberate but you can't deny the input lag holds in back at times. That's partly why the mid 2000's PES games where so good as it felt so responsive. You get locked into too many animations on PES to the point where you can almost leave your controller alone. And cannot agree about the physicality. That is one thing that is vastly superior compared to PES. The fact that there's isn't even a button to protect the ball is bizarre especially when you can actually play proper long ball football on PES. Because you're a lot more attached to the ball on PES it's hard to have any influence in physical contact which is something FIFA does better (one of the few things) PES definitely closer to be an accurate simulation of football but as you've said, without much better presentation and licensing, it's always going to be playing catch up.
THANK YOUUUU. Nobody mentions this enough. The fact that there is no L2 (protect the ball) button in PES makes absolutely zero sense to me. I use it both defensively and offensively in FIFA and it feels great timing when you press L2 and your player pushes the defender off it. The fact that there's no way to do this in PES means you have almost no say in the physicality of the game. You're just using the analog stick and the game decides who wins. That's a huge part of why I cannot get into PES as much as I wished I could
@18:27 I agree, but that's on the default passing controls. Thats like having PES on pass level support 5 (i know it goes up to only 3). Switch to Semi passing or manual through ball/lob pass and it becomes a much slower game where you actually have to aim. The default controls from jockeying to shooting to passing are wayyyy too assisted.
I play the demo and i took Dortmund and playing against liverpool on legendery dificullty I play 2:2 Its pure arcade sepecialy passing and shooting its damn to easy. I gues i would beat 90 percent of the fifa Community
Played fifa since day dot and have finally made the switch, have to say I’m struggling with the game on PES just can’t seem to score many goals. hopefully with time this will improve as I find the passing is so much more realistic than on fifa
Damn mate. I din really care what the was about, but still managed to watch whole clip because of the commentary! It's just so refreshing. You should definitely be on Fifa!!
It both looks and feels like the ball is moving on a magnetized field. It does not move freely for sure, not even when playing on full manual settings. It has that horrible ping pongy feel to it.
Every year I also contemplate buying Fifa because of the presentations, licenses, modes, atmosphere of the matches,etc...but every year it is the gameplay that hold me back!!!
With the stamina thing in fifa, stamina most times if you are a aggressive player you lose stamina quickly and it will feel like you can't run, it looks as if you're a less aggressive player so you are not gonna feel like you are losing stamina you wait sometimes to tackle, you don't go all in to try tackle every opportunity you get but with aggressive players you will feel it, aggressive players tend to run sprint every game every time it also depends which kind of players you play with, that being said this is just the champions league mode. Cheers for the unbiased commentary, i will try pes this year, if you're just a football fan why settle on one game when you can enjoy both games, i dislike oh fifa is better than pes, or pes is better than fifa, as you said its all about preference/choice
Fifa looks nice and realistic, until you get the controller and start to play it, then you realize the delay in inputs. You can't do anything, no command until the started player animation ends, and you feel it when playing it. Fifa will never be playable until they fix this. FIFA players looks like floating and their ball physics was poor compare with PES. but FIFA 360 movement already used over a decade, and Konami still using same Fox Engine.

Fifa is for sharing(multiplayer), pes is a gift for yourself(offline) :)
Offline Pes???? Have you ever seen worse AI than in PES????

@@octane9303 yes in fifa😂😂
In fifa, you can close your eyes and pass to your player upfront
In pes you'll have to calculate how your player is running or moving
In online its basically if the scripting is on ur side u can just press pass 5 times and it will make perfect defensive line cut forward pass and u will find urself 1on 1 with the keeper without even aiming the pass. If the scripting is againts u, u can aim as much as u want, ur gonna lose the ball.
not everyone play fifa on assisted... you do have manual settings, give it a try....
Yeah if you play on the kids mode but otherwise no that isn't true.

You can turn off aim assist

Have you played pes 😂 they run like they’re on ice
Nobody plays PES because of the fake "realism" of a broken game every year. Why do you think TTB made this video? To see why millions and millions hate PES and choose this arcade game play. PES is dead ...nobody plays it.

Arty Barty yes correct It's instructions which makes a massive difference in Fifa 20, i used it alot in Fifa 19 .
But ea dont improve the game!
I dont think EA care at all. They know it will sell millions of copies and that people will continue to waste their money on FUT. What real improvements have they really made since fifa 14? The least amount possible. At least with Pes you can see what they are doing to improve the game.
One thing that fifa will never be as good at is how great it feels to score a goal on pes. It still feels really good
yes , I've noticed that , i have both games, but scoring in pes is way more excitement

Smart move bro 😂👍.. I've always loved both for what they offer
In FIFA I like:
1. Presentation & Atmosphire
2. Player Instructions
3. Corner Kick system
4. Match statisic
5. Player Rating after match
I hope Konami can make it in next console. Aamiin
Don't forget about commentator, formation settings

The thing I like about PES is that every player feels diferent. You can tell every player has a different skill set and different movement, in FIFA everyone moves and feels the same maybe a little faster or slower but that's it
The defending is the main reason I don’t like fifa.its terrible.i much prefer the defending in pes and the all round gameplay.
seriously? Apart from holding down A (on xbox which makes defending devoid of any skill at all) defending is impossible on PES
Pes defense are like Sunday league players

I like the movement of pes as the slightest touch can send you off balance.
I hear you about the Player Instructions, but having that in PES will clash with player ID which is why i think they don't really do it
Exactly. But it's not impossible to add it, just hard
they could decrease the rating if you instruct player to do something that doesn't match their player id and they will eventually develop such style of playing in time.
@@prajjwolghimire6619 thats called training in Master League, you can actually change it over time if you put training to another style.

SInce fifa 2002*
@Andrew Scott well, the stuttering is what makes a game robotic. Animations are motion captured, the transitioning within the game is what makes it robotic or not
@Andrew Scott it should be stiff and heavy. Players can't turn and run in every situation in real life. Also, the ball and the player are independent objects in PES unlike FIFA. Sometimes, the player will find in hard to control the ball - not a problem in FIFA because the ball is glued to the foot
Hence its smooth and responsive
The stiffness is actually realism. The best thing to do such a tight situation is engage close control. Don't spam sprint as in FIFA lol

Its a demo
@Andrew Scott actually most pes players thoroughly critique every fault within the game/gameplay. Just look through some pes forum or on reddit and you'd realise that.
@Andrew Scott and that stuttering has been in fifa for years, has nothing to do with the demo.
I think PES 2020 is better than fifa 20
It is better bro
Even pes 2019 better than fifa 20 in terms of gameplay
Players like Messi, Busquets, De Bruyne or Xavi who use Possession Game too in PES would fit him
Tactically Pes is Masterclass, you can learn a lot about tactics just by literally playing a game
8:43 “If you don’t play a pass at the right time in PES, you lose the ball, that’s just how it works” *makes a pass at the wrong time and loses the ball*
The ball will be intercepted before the player gets at the other end of the pass.
FIFA since 06 and since 15 I have been scoring goals the same way, over and over again.
Pass out from back
Play to midfield
1-2 with winger
Cut inside
Pass ball to att. Midfielder
Through ball to striker
Goal...
FIFA is great but really feels repetitive sometimes to me...Good game still. I am going to purchase 20, just because it seems better to play with friends. Scoring a goal in PES however feels rewarding. Will give PES2020 a try this season.

I played FIFA all my life and I play it at a slow pace. The only reason I didn't switch to PES was the robotic animation and ball physics in PES. This year I can say I will switch to PES. It suits the way I like to play a football game
lol he thinks fifa 20 is a very fast game just see his reaction when he plays previous fifas lol
*John Obi Mikel should have won the Ballon D'Or in 2008*

Love seeing you try fifa tho. I know this is a Pes channel and you are a pes guy which is why I love watching you but as a life long fifa player and recently a pes player for the past two years, I still love fifa more. A game is about having fun and being immeresed in it so it doesn’t feel like a game as much and fifa does that for me way more than Pes. But there’s things about both I love.
Fifa is just to fast and super unrealistic.
TBH I can’t see why people think Fifa has better gameplay
It's funnier and not that complicated . In PES is too hard to skill , and if I would have wanted a real experience I would have gone outside and played football myself
yeah I understand but I would rather play the premier league by downloading it on pes which looks very realistic, despite having a lack of atmosphere,
Fifa just looks unnatural which is NOt right for a football game which is based off reality
Because you're a lot more attached to the ball on PES it's hard to have any influence in physical contact which is something FIFA does better (one of the few things)
PES definitely closer to be an accurate simulation of football but as you've said, without much better presentation and licensing, it's always going to be playing catch up.
That's a huge part of why I cannot get into PES as much as I wished I could
Bugger the presentation and gimmicks. It means bugger all if the gameplay is scripted and crap.
Just like PES see the Steam forums fanboy.
All games are scripted lol.
I love your voice/commentary..sounds like the real deal.Pes should probably sign you as an additional commentator. Nice video bro.
Atmosphere, grounds, AI, commentary, presentation and referees. Everything that spoils PES. Every slide tackle is a foul on pes lmao
Grounds?
Neeraj vibez stadiums
@@14adamrichardson Stadiums look like real life in PES. U mad?
Neeraj vibez totally agree visually they’re much better than Fifa. What I meant was there’s about 8 stadiums in the game. Not enough, ps2 pes had more
@@14adamrichardson It's 19 actually
@18:27 I agree, but that's on the default passing controls. Thats like having PES on pass level support 5 (i know it goes up to only 3). Switch to Semi passing or manual through ball/lob pass and it becomes a much slower game where you actually have to aim. The default controls from jockeying to shooting to passing are wayyyy too assisted.
It’s NBA Jam on a football pitch.
Dont know about anything else but you are a FANTASTIC commentator!
I play the demo and i took Dortmund and playing against liverpool on legendery dificullty
I play 2:2
Its pure arcade sepecialy passing and shooting its damn to easy.
I gues i would beat 90 percent of the fifa Community
The best example of Pes mentality :))
You are dreaming boy
Haha
That's default controls. It's too assisted.
And if you want to see if youd beat 90 percent, we can play. I'll play slow how Pes people are used to
Played fifa since day dot and have finally made the switch, have to say I’m struggling with the game on PES just can’t seem to score many goals. hopefully with time this will improve as I find the passing is so much more realistic than on fifa
Lol, this game is laughable 😂
Damn mate. I din really care what the was about, but still managed to watch whole clip because of the commentary!
It's just so refreshing.
You should definitely be on Fifa!!
I remember when you could set specific instructions for players on PES, never understood why they got rid of them.
one thing you can't take away from them though is the close up graphics... EA SPORTS nailed it on this one
It both looks and feels like the ball is moving on a magnetized field. It does not move freely for sure, not even when playing on full manual settings. It has that horrible ping pongy feel to it.
So glad I broke the wall and got pes. I’ll never turn back. Pes is light years ahead. Can’t believe I waited so many years.
You can cancel passes and shots with L2 and R2 or just fake it with the pass button
Thanks... Will try that...
Always cancel out with a fake. Just getting use to each games slight differences.
@@ImNotJohnOrAnything is your "." key stuck or something?
@@yprinxe 😂😂😂... That's how I type...
@@ImNotJohnOrAnything I see... Very dramatic...
This dude caling fifa responsive is beyond me, he has no idea what he is talking about.
