One thing no ones talking about, let's say they get this game in a good place, so I buy the ML DLC, but then they keep tweaking the game, and tweaking the game and so on, until its a game I no longer enjoy, and I've wasted money on a ML I no longer want to play, and there's nothing I can do about it. At least with say....if I picked up pes21, its a finished product, if I like it, I can enjoy it for what it is for many years.
There is so much going on behind the scenes at Konami. If they made a decision to scrap PES and basically port the mechanics of a mobile game, then they are delusional to think we wouldn't notice or made a calculated decision to bank on mobile customers and just abandon the next-gen/pc gamers and say screw them. But then why hype the game, talk about how they surpassed PES and everything is new, groundbreaking, and seeking "photorealism" as they literally said in an interview this summer? In the end, no development team would release this without pressure from above. What is the communication at this company? If a CEO says "we need to release before FIFA to be competitive", the head producer would be compelled to say " hey, sorry, we have to postpone this, its a mess and unplayable". From the Messi Unreal trailer 2 years ago to this something drastic has happened. I've heard stories of Konami employees quitting due to the direction of the studio. I think our fears are realized. This is not Unreal Engine maximized to create a modern game. It's rushed, barebones and they have lied about it the whole way up to release. The budget must have been cut, and I'm more and more convinced Konami have said "let's just get rich off of mobile transactions, and then just cancel the real version if it stops selling. Then we don't even have to pay to develop new versions. We lost to EA anyway so let's cut our losses". Many companies use Unreal and it is not a complicated Engine to port over to. It's literally made to be accessible and easy to use. The guy that did the code teardown on Twitter said he can see the animations are literally coded over from Fox Engine. So all they had to do was create good graphical assets and build some new systems for gameplay. In two years they completely failed to make something even remotely playable. That is either an epic disaster/failure by the production team or such a major loss of budget or reduction of staff that they had to make something this poor and rushed. The saddest part is the barebones of the game seem like a mobile game. Simplistic, no nuance or depth, extremely basic coding that would need an entire teardown and restart. I fear Konami are going to string us along and hope we are naïve enough to continue forking over money for MyTeam. This is a sad day for my favorite game of all time. PES has given me so much happiness but greed has finally destroyed it.
This is it. The truth about this game. Konami is done with football games and found a way to kill it, allowing EA to entice us with their magnet arcade game. Soon, everyone will forget about this game and the real issues will be published.
Yeah, you pretty much nailed it. Corporate Konami seems to have killed this game off before it had a chance. I mean, the state of this game is repulsive in every department. No reasonable dev would even think about releasing this garbage and calling it next-gen. Anyway, I guess those who aren’t leaving for FIFA are gonna have to wait for UFL.
True. I really, really loved PES. Not so much anymore the last 3 iterations, though. Tried eFootball yesterday and was really, really underwhelmed up to the point of cold realization: It’s over. 20 odd years of hardcore PES with my mates. And now I’m playing Fifa 22 and it’s actually a pretty darn good game of footy on the pitch, and with all those official bells and whistles as a great extra. And so, as a final eulogy to PES: Thanks for the memories, especially on PS2. As for the future of eFootball: Never say never but not holding my breath
I downloaded the game, played it twice and deleted it. Then I went over to the dark side, bought FIFA 22 and started a Manager career. If Konami's goal was to chase away loyal PES Customers, they would have been wise to either acquire EA, or purchase a significant stake. This way, when their shambolic game chased Customers away, and to, FIFA they'd at least get some benefit from it. It's almost as if Konami decided "We can't beat FIFA, and our gameplay is better. So maybe we stop worrying about gameplay, and focus on cut scenes and graphics like FIFA". Only problem is, they failed miserable there as well. This is what we thought we'd get when we saw the "online test". I guess we've just been in denial. And as mad as I was yesterday, the apology today just made it worse. I went from thinking they were simply incompetent, so thinking they deliberately hid this game from us to be devious to back to thinking they're incompetent. Stevie Wonder could see that this game wasn't ready for release. Konami is only realizing it because Customer's expressed their "opinions"? Talk about taking the piss. Who's in charge of quality control over there? A group of chimpanzees? Even they'd go ape about how bad this game is. Did they hastily put together this beta test for influential users (Like Spoony) just before launch as part of their on going plan of deception? This way they could get them to say "The game is not so bad" because Konami knew just bad it was going to be...and the backlash that would follow? I'm not a conspiracy theory guy, but..this stinks to high heaven.
LOL at the stretcher "feature". Going to the dark side and getting FIFA 22. I'm contemplating that too! Having played my last FIFA in 05. It has been PES ever since from 06 to PES 2017. Everything started to go wrong once they started focussing on My Club in 18. Anyway how is FIFA 22, with sliders and making it slower is it worth playing? Do you see variety in the way CPU AI plays? Also FIFER is releasing realistic gameplay and tactics mods, so that is a plus for FIFA too.
I'm still undecided but this is the first time I'm thinking about switching to FIFA and really learn to play it, after 20 years with ISS and PES. This tells how bad the state of the game is.
It would be so much better if they just updated team line-ups this year and created two separate franchises in 2022: eFootball for mobile devices and PES as a true next-gen expirience with awesome graphics, physics and AI. Such a missed opportunity. I'm a PES fan since PES 2 and watching what happen to the series is just hearbreaking.
This is the same company that put out that abomination MGS Survive after Kojima left. Tells you all you need to know. Was only a matter of time before they buried this franchise too
Actually efootball looks better in presentation and player faces, grass also looks very nice. But when you play the textures go away, it's only good in replays. I think it has the same problem of cyberpunk But when it will be fixed it will be the most good looking football game ever
@@sovietyamemini2309 I hope so. This game looks and feels amazing, very realistic but at the same time buggy, unfinished and broken. If this game gets fixed it will be better than PES 2021
Uninstalled it after 10 minutes. Free to play is not cheap enough for this hot garbage. Konami will do much better at this rate to just release another PES 2022 season update, and perma delete this failure called excruciating-Football.
When you constantly ignore community feedback and try to force your new unpopular ideas which not even your loyal fanbase agrees with this is the result! The backlash is well deserve. We have been here before with failures such as Anthem and Cyberpunk! Take your fans for granted and pay the ultimate price!
I just realized you were right about this game being a mobile game a few months ago Ricky. Everything that you were worried about like the loss of second man press or manually control player run really concludes this mess to be a mobile game ported to other platforms. Everything seems so flat and plain simple that's what this pile of shit feels.
It's not even on mobile yet. It's a poorly done game that clearly was still a couple of months from being ready for release and for whatever reason konami decided to release now
@@Dtdnoob they literally asking for your money for pre-order future content atm so I don't think this being the demo that can't be fixed with patches and updates lol. Who in their right mind will do that and release this shit? Only konami can
@@chanhtran2548 that's what happens when greed comes into play. Paid pre-order for a free to play, incomplete game is just pure crazy and konami deserve every criticism they're getting now. No wonder no one wants them to reboot metal gear
If Konami had released an actual PES or efootball game and it was bad we’d be sitting here saying “oh they’ve got it wrong this year” and we’d all take it on the chin but what they have done instead is absolutely unforgivable. They’ve released barely a demo under the guise of a new game they built up for two whole calendar years just to leave us with no other option than to play that god awful FIFA game. There is no coming back from this. Two years? Two years?
@@seanmahoney4417 Look, just because you are a PES player doesn't mean you have to hate fifa. You have to try the game out yourself to judge it. Us fifa fans are dead honest about it when our game is shit but trust me man, this year it is different
The people who made PES great are long gone, the people who destroyed it are in charge now. All their skill level is mobile and copy and pasting and porting, they are probably very proud of this, Adam bhatti couldnt wait for us to play this, they knew the state of it, but they dont care about quaility anymore, its just how fast can they get your money with the least amount of effort.
This is why I play 10 seasons of Master League and 10 Seasons of My Legend. There’s no need for a new football game. The rosters change so much after the first year it doesn’t matter. I’m playing E Football 2021 on PS4 going on year Seven (2026) with Atlético Nacional. Im enjoying the development of my young guys and trying to get number 1 ranking in the World by Fifa. right now I’m 16th. There’s plenty to do and keep us busy. A new Football game every 2-3 years has been my strategy. I feel this gives you time to truly appreciate a game. PES Universe is great with updates and patches. Hopefully they keep doing so for e football 2021 for a couple years. Cheers to everyone. I encourage you guys to try 10 years in Master League and My Legend. If you can’t beat the game on legendary then there’s still much to do and learn in e football 2021.
I started going back to PES a few years ago. My very best memories are with PES 5 and PES 6 (Adriano was a beast back then). I told myself, like a moron, that I would never go back to FIFA for obvious reasons. I thought PES could not screw this up since they had time to make a great football game. I was wrong and now I feel betrayed. I don’t even know if the game can be fixed at this point, since it seems broken beyond belief. I might just get Fifa 22 and that thought hurts even more…
The funny thing is that the new esport players they are trying to win over are the very ones having a meme shaming this game all over social media and the internet, even friends who aint PES fans are having fun now while the core fanbase they have completely ignored are the only ones busy trying to defend the little dignity left in Konami! The irony!!!
ATTENTION!!! Did anybody notice that the passing assistance is exactly vice versa then in other pes titles? Does mean pass on 1 is totaly supported an pass on 4 is full manual.
PES 2021 was not perfect but it had the fundamentals there to build from and develop into a better game, I mean all they actually needed to do was work on the AI, improve the responsiveness and movement of players reactions etc and then let the graphics develop as the next gen consoles go on, but no they strip it all back, release a demo worthy of a PS3 console which is absolutely shocking, graphics are not even mobile game worthy, baffled as to what konami have been doing for the last 2/3 years, we waited and put up with an update of pes 2020 with 2021 update, and then we get this piece of shit! I'm converting back to fifa 22, I'm actually enjoying the gameplay and feel of it so far
Yes exactly, if they spent two years working on the master league, the responsiveness of players, players not stopping mid run, more player id's, better finesse shooting, and complety revamped keepers so they're not superman anymore they could have took pes 21 and made it great
@@delboy9617 yeah they have completely gone about it the wrong way and ruined what was potentially a game to compete with fifa, now they have gone down the mobile game route and its laughable how bad it actually is, I played 1 game online and after about the 60min mark I turned it off, so slow and boring
Love your content dude, been more of a FIFA person the last 10 years but I’m a football fan first and no football games seem up to scratch at the moment IMO.
The turf isn't a flat carpet mate, someone maybe said to them "offsides aren't consistent, you need to improve the ol' lino", so Konami's translator has gone to them and said "don't know why, but they want the turf changed to linoleum", so Konami decided they would give the fans what they wanted.
I saw the writings on the wall since Kojima gate disaster. They were always focusing on producing pes with least amount budget. Hence the use of fox engine for years. Then the focus on pachinto and mobile games. I hope sony sees this opportunity and but the team responsible for PES and give them the budget needed. They can be a goldmine if they sort out a better myclub than FUT.
And there were a lot of great idea in Myclub, affinity was due tactics rather than nationality (which is racist and also football doesn't work like that), managers were relevant and defined your team's identity, contracts were based on minutes and not of matches making subs meaningful, all off this shit was better than Fut
I played 3 games and decided to switch to FIFA for the first time ever. It's such a pile of crap that it's hard to imagine it wasn’t made by 3 people on Kickstarter releasing pre-alpha version
As you said many times, there are many-many problems with this game. I start to believe that Konami shot their own legs with the substitution of the successful PES series with this. It's a grave marketing mistake and it seriously needs a lot of work to render it a normal (let alone a good) e-football simulation game. The sooner we get back to our known PES series, the better both for us and for them. RIP PES!
From a developer point of view, I think they have like 3 senior developers max, they only hire juniors or what so ever, and don’t even get me started on their QC team, if there is any! They probably put this build directly from dev team to live!
I know you said the player models were alright but they really aren't. They are nothing like Konami showed us two years ago and the gestures and limbs just look awful and unnatural. The crowd is atrocious. I know it's not vital to the gameplay but it's super immersion breaking. I don't understand when they've taken such great strides to replicate the beautiful stadiums why they then ruin it with a cardboard crowd and 2D grass. The player faces are essentially the same as last-gen PES; at least FIFA tries to make them look different. Considering they've had two years and exclusive rights it's unacceptable that the few licensed teams they do have still have players with generic faces. It's just a brutal, embarrassing experience overall cemented by terrible gameplay. One guy I saw complained the game was sluggish and the controls were bad, and someone replied "you just need to get better, it's called 'physics'", but it's not at all. It's just rubbish. People need to stop making excuses for Konami. They've ruined a lot of solid game franchises and PES/eFootball is now the latest one.
You're right, I've seen replies where people give a detailed essay on how to play this game and that we don't like it because we haven't got used to the new physics. I assume they either work for Konami or are on drugs, probably both judging by this crap game
If I was one of those teams in the game, I'd force Konami for retraction due to poor representation. Contractual obligations were not met in this regard.
You have summed up the game perfectly. It is actually embarrassing to release this build when a few weeks ago the creator had the audacity to say "we wanted to build a photorealistic game from the grass to the crowd to the players" who would say that knowing full well that this was the build you would be releasing a few weeks later. Thank you for making me laugh with this video, it took away a lot of the pain I've felt after waiting two years for this shambles
It's bad, but you can see what they're going for. In their defence, the switch over to a completely new engine is usually a rocky ride. I personally believe this has potential and isn't just some cheap gimmick. If they patched up a lot of the glitchy areas, it would make for a much more grounded experience closer to the actual game of football (physicality, quick close up towards players after fouls etc which isn't just a cutscene). These areas were left untouched previously and just substituted with a basic version of these elements to the degree that you don't realise it's even needed. PES 6 for example as basic as it is and far from the actual game of football is one of the most enjoyable games to play, but is missing 95% of what actually happens in a game. Time will tell how this new PES journey will play out in 2-3 years time, like the change over to the Fox Engine.
Like I said months ago. Football has never been Konamis priority. They literally released Final fantasy IV game trailer yesterday and you could see the detail, the sharpness, the hair movement, the ideal features in their complicated vehicles, lightening, sound of that game. And there's eFootball. Given to a department of maybe 13, full of interns I'm sure. Tears in my eyes, finally i have to admit FIFA is better to my friends. I just
The problem is the free to play aspect with mobile and console cross play. They created a mobile game on console basically. The animations running passes just feels like a mobile game
I owned every ISS, PES games etc... up until PES6 on PS2. I tried buy never liked any other PES games up until PES2017. I've never enjoyed Fifa since the megadrive days. I just couldn't since playing PES. Just too arcadey back and forth and unrealistic to me. I hated all the PES games on PS3 and the first few on PS4. I was beginning to enjoy them again when 2017 and 18 came out and was so looking forward to this one. They've made a huge mistake going for the free to play. It looks terrible and still got the same commentary which I've hated for years. Some had just switched since PES2019/20 from Fifa and this was the opportunity to put their stamp on things since Fifa is essentially the same game once again with the same engine. However after seeing all the clips on youtube and hearing all the awful things I know I don't even need to download and try the this even if it is FREE. I know some people are saying why complain if it's free.... it doesn't matter whether something is free or not, it matters whether it's good, and it's not looking good at all and Konami know it. They've totally blown a huge chance for them to gain some ground on EA and it's gone. I doubt EA will still use frostbite next year and, with up to 2 more Football games being released by other publishers, konami could see their fans move elsewhere if those others are of any quality. BIG MISTAKE by Konami.
Can you actually imagine konami sitting there and playing this build and thinking yes still is ready for release....on next gen consoles....that says it all
Why change a perfect game “ If it ain’t broken don’t fix it” , PES 21 was great all they had to do is few improvements, and what the hell efootball!!! Pro Evolution Soccer is symbolic of continuous development its an established brand and we grow up playing it and we love it
I played Konami football since ISS and this is by far the most hilarious game I've ever played. I wonder how could Konami do this mess. How long did they work on this game? I could even understand changing to UE4 might be difficult, but then come out with an Early Access alpha game, not with a V0.9.0 version. Marketing suicide, no matter the game is free to play. Everything looks so demo-ish. To change tactics is so damn messy. I wanted to put in Arthur in Juventus as defensive midfielder and to find the right spot between the big player pictures, was an hell. I was expecting smoothness in the transitions between player animations, instead, players looks like they are heavy to even make a single movement.
Part of me thinks Konami left all this rubbish in just so efootball 2022 and Konami were trending on the day of release. No publicity is bad publicity. But honestly though, it is so sad to see the state this franchise has got itself in, I give 2-3 years and this will be dead and buried unless Konami change their ways. Good work as always.
The players and kits look good, and like you said, the off-pitch sequences are great - but holy crap, those on-pitch physics and player heights are terrible! Well done with the breakdown!
i am a fifa fut founder and have always been i wish we had some of pes graphics in fifa but this is a embrassing attemt of a game , it like they have stuck 2 fingers up at the pes community i feel sorry for u all sticking by a company to get this , i have no words
The clipping and collision issue was well foreshadowed by that part in the trailer where Iniesta was dribbling past some defenders and his ankles and feet just had a mind of their own... Also evident when Messi shoots a bit later on in the trailer and his planting foot just warps its own reality... We shouldn't be surprised but my gosh...even I am still😑😂😂😂
Other thing is, I don't get why gameplay mechanics are being implemented later... I mean, modes and content sure... That's that DLC logic but gameplay... Really? Sharp kick and everything else...why? Shouldn't it be all in the game first for us to learn and adapt to while feeling out how the "new" game is??😅😅
There's lot of potential, I like the long ball, crosses and header. Player runs forward unlike PES 21..i like the Passing and through ball, it feels more accurate in efootball 22. But ball feels too heavy and we had to put way more effort to make a simple pass. Game plan in landscape mode sucks..sometimes, players don't know where the ball is, they let them pass by them. Cutscenes are laggy and poorly done.
I've been playing PES since 2003 and its been my favorite game since then, its basically all I play and I am heartbroken about this. I hope they can turn it around but honestly this is terrible.
I am 1000% sure this game will finally brought total realism of football. Just put the camera on studium custom remove the arrow and power gauge and adjust the sitting as follow: zoom-8\height-3\angle-8 Put the pass assist to 2 And try it note:don't change R1with R2.
I give up. Konami has messed up big time. Even 2020-21 Season Update had scripting issues but 2022 has gone back to 2014 and in looks horrible in certain situations. Cant be bothered with FIFA that has been the same game in the past decade and its not a proper simulator. This is it. I'll look at UFL and once that fails to impress Im done with Football games
I still have flashbacks of that 2 year old Messi Teaser we all got really excited and patiently waited for... All that waiting and excitement all for nothing!! This is unacceptable
Just played my first game on PS4. It's definitely got potential. I like the weight the players have. It feels like players have realistic momentum. That's a definite plus over 21. The physicality is an improvement over 21 as well. Once sharp kicks are introduced and if some of the animations can be cleaned up, I think that will go a long way.
Wish I lived on your world. In mine this is the worse game I've ever played. Literally no redeeming features. konami football games since striker on the super Nintendo and this is by far the worse of the lot.
This Overshadows biggest shambles in the history of Gaming. As a Neutral Fan of Both Pes & FIFA , Konami has lost their respect thrice in it's Career. First it was 2007,then2014 & now 2021. This company never learns from its mistakes &keep on Making it. Imagine I Boast about being Finance Pro yet when it comes to the happening I just get lost ,same's with Konami through the years. They're so mad about eSports yet they're the worst in the business of internet & their servers are pretty honest with it. FIFA this year took a way bigger Leap & if you anyone sayin " FIFA literally Makes the Same Game every year " , believe me they never Played any of these Games o console/ PC to even feel the differences , especially this year. They're Normies who come to know a slang & now use it on everywhere. Coming to the game again , it's a below Chinese version of anything we see at good quality. They made it Free To Play because nobody with a mind would spend money on such Crap. A lot of their Employees are already quitting their Jobs at the company because they feel Company's not doing right. I'd be Surprised if they had spent more than 3 months on this game. My close Friend's a game developer & I've been to studios many times , never seen such bad thing from good developers.
If I’m not wrong. IGN played a different build the graphics look stunning, and the game wasn’t well this… but I’m just speculating that the build that we are playing Is the crossplay version
It is normal as the first look for a game built from scratch on new engine I play it many times and when I get back to pes2021 I felt the old unreal by the way Fifa 22 sme like fifa 20 no change.
We wanted improved ML, konami gave us cutscenes, I'm starting to think the people making efootball now only know how to make cutscenes, anything else they are completely out of their depth, if they cant copy and paste or tweak a few sliders they are screwed.
Used to love PES back in the day, although I’ve played FIFA more in recent years purely for the more realistic career mode, but often downloaded PES games and enjoyed them. Was genuinely excited for a next gen version and was expecting to be wowed when they announced they were gonna spend 2 years developing it,with the unreal engine. This is a travesty though, and I fear it could inflict permanent damage on Konami’s reputation,so much so it could potentially see a large shift to FIFA,which is a good deal better then this mess.Hope they patch it and develop it over the coming months but it needs to happen quick.
I don't even need to comment. You know exactly what I think about Konami today. I'm enjoying the hell out of FIFA 22, Manager Career. Gave Anaraktu some cash for his Cheat Table so that I can do CPU vs CPU full seasons. Cor Blimey, I'm loving it. EA Vancouver saved my ass this year, next year, the year after that, and the year after that.
I am American and I wanted to try a soccer game for the first time in my life and there was this for free, it is one of the worst games I have ever tried.
Again, this reminds me of MS Flight that was exactly the same failed strategy. MS canceled back then their legendary Flight Simulator and started a DLC driven empty and weird MS Flight... 4 months later, MS Flight was canceled...
The thing is Konami can do sooo much better if they want, pes 2009 was bad also pes 2015-2018 also bad. When did we have decent career mode? When did we have decent online modes?
3:04 Its like it could happen in mobile version of the game. Also, i played just 2-3 matches and got really frustrated by the gameplay aspects. Like Players catching up when attacking, close passes getting intercepted no matter what, players glitching/clipping into each other, unresponsive AI. I could go on and on, but honestly i really really missed playing old PES than this abomination.
Thing I'm confused about is how Barry on the video the other day made it sound alright, so a different build? Which if its so night and day, why worry about this/why release this? 🤷♂️ I dunno, baffled 😂
i think the build that influencer tested was also bad. one patch not gonna fix everything. For PES 2020 pesmonster tested the game at Konami and he said the same thing "wow amazing bla bla bla" and at release it was not what he played and never been even after update. The game Spoony played don't exist
i think you are pulling the wrong strings here... calling Konami "LAZY" is actually calling the developers of this game "LAZY" as IMO, they are revolutionizing the gameplay, this is more like the Konami suit's fault, keeping the dev dept. under-staffed, under-budget-ed , ill-resourced. It s huge management problem. Now the main thing want to be clear about. Efootball devs (not the suits at Konami) could just iterate on the previous game and not try to fix what has been working for the company already. that my friend would be a much bigger disappointment as i was sick of the already arcadey passing and movement, the un-rewarding game mechanics where trying to glitching the defence would bring results more frequently. This efootball , however undercooked is in the right direction, the pace is reasonable, the defending this time requires you to actually check where your player is going and best of all,we finally got rid of the maniacal dashing - pressure that i had to endure for decades... Sprinting player's automatically intercepting everything. I have got one theory though, this indeed looks like an alpha build that was put on hold months maybe a year ago and Konami might have a much more polished package, a more arcadey and stat based(to reduce the skill requirement and encourage DLC purchases) build but since they saw what Fifa 22 was delivering, realising that the game cant compete and decided to switch strategy and going EA's opposite way. Either way we will have a much more grounded gameplay in this PES and that s a welcome change IMO. I just cant imagine the game become a very stable, consistent, physically accurate in just two months but it will be a much better experience and the user base will be a much more competent one compared to what it was up to now... revolution attempts should never be called "lazy" but the "cut corners" by the Konami management should be called all sorts of things.
Exactly how I feel. Everyone else seems to want to go back to the same thing they've always had and keep on blaming the dev team when this simply CANNOT lie on their shoulders. Management fucked the game
Come to FIFA guys. I promise you, it’s not as bad as you think and you can change to manual settings as well to make it feel more realistic on career mode.
It exactly looks like when Cyberpunk came out on unreal engine with horrendous bugs and so... But then it was fixed and was better... Hope Efootball also get's fixed or it will be forgotten.
14:15 I cannot unsee what is happening to the virtual ads at the goal right here. They just flatten out on the ground like the textures that are semi3D from only one exact isometric angle - which they are, apparently. If that happened on TV heads of broadcast engineers would be arollin' and Audi and T-Mobile and whatnot would be aquittin'. I mean come on! The tech is up for a decade at least! When I first saw it I was like 'how the heck did they agree to place actual ad objects on the field' but then I figured out it was just a digital tweak to the broadcast. How can you freak up a tech that is so time-tempered?..
I downloaded it, havent even started it yet, been playing FIFA instead. Did anyone expect anything else than a mess with this game? Konami will never make a football game again
I'm devastated, my days of playing a football game are finished!!! Been playing PES for over 20 years and this is what they dish up. I refuse to play FIFA because it is too arcade for me. Just can't believe this shit.
Matches rendered a bit laggy but honestly you can still see what were dealing with here..
COMEDY GOLD!!
Just say it, and say it loud and proud with the rest of us, THE GAME IS TRASH!

😂😂😂 this has been my reaction from launch day
What do pes fans do now??? Basically fucked lol

Absolutely, I hope they atleast do some changes when they use Unreal engine 5
💯 💯 💯 💯 Man I feel your soul on this one 👏🏿 👏🏿 well said
Yup I’ve done the same and switched to fifa sad times honestly
Link me to the dark side pls🥲
you are such a liar oh Gosh
It would be so much better if they just updated team line-ups this year and created two separate franchises in 2022: eFootball for mobile devices and PES as a true next-gen expirience with awesome graphics, physics and AI. Such a missed opportunity. I'm a PES fan since PES 2 and watching what happen to the series is just hearbreaking.
This is the same company that put out that abomination MGS Survive after Kojima left. Tells you all you need to know. Was only a matter of time before they buried this franchise too
I don’t think they have the manning to pull this off. It cost a lot to make a game.

If Konami had released an actual PES or efootball game and it was bad we’d be sitting here saying “oh they’ve got it wrong this year” and we’d all take it on the chin but what they have done instead is absolutely unforgivable.
Been a fan for like 25 years. My heart is broken badly. Shame on you, Konami.

The player faces are atrocious this year, seen better on the xbox 360 ffs
You're right, I've seen replies where people give a detailed essay on how to play this game and that we don't like it because we haven't got used to the new physics. I assume they either work for Konami or are on drugs, probably both judging by this crap game
If I was one of those teams in the game, I'd force Konami for retraction due to poor representation. Contractual obligations were not met in this regard.
How its an early build if they had 2 years to build something?!?!?!?!
I just
If they ever revived Robot Wars, you'd be a shoe in for that voice-over.
The problem is the free to play aspect with mobile and console cross play. They created a mobile game on console basically. The animations running passes just feels like a mobile game
PES died with PES6😢
7:51 he’s happy 😂
Can you actually imagine konami sitting there and playing this build and thinking yes still is ready for release....on next gen consoles....that says it all
Mobile CPU capacity will dictate the development of this game.
Nothing can be added that a mobile CPU can't handle.
Not entirely true, depends on how they adapt the game and what engine they have.

As Captain Price said in COD 4 MW," it ain't hard to improve on garbage!". 😂🤣
Why do all the Players have the same shivered teeth 😂😂😂

Put the pass assist to 2
And try it note:don't change R1with R2.
Didn't know you could copy and paste animations across engines. Because most animations, celebrations are the same we've been seeing all these years.
They probably got the motion capture raw data lying around. From before they implemented them into last game.
The crowd is straight out of Resident Evil from PS1 😂

Its like it could happen in mobile version of the game. Also, i played just 2-3 matches and got really frustrated by the gameplay aspects.
@@SuperSteden owch, sad times man 😂
Look at Gnabry's arm 🤣. What is it doing. Is it made out of jelly...
i think you are pulling the wrong strings here... calling Konami "LAZY" is actually calling the developers of this game "LAZY" as IMO, they are revolutionizing the gameplay, this is more like the Konami suit's fault, keeping the dev dept. under-staffed, under-budget-ed , ill-resourced.
I can see why people don’t like fifa but honesty this year, fifa 22 is brilliant.
@@tescosfinest4464 I understand where PES players come from. But I genuinely do think FIFA no longer has competition at all.
@@martinezedgar091 exactly
You mean the ones on the turf? Because thats how it actually looks like lol
I downloaded it, havent even started it yet, been playing FIFA instead. Did anyone expect anything else than a mess with this game? Konami will never make a football game again
9:07 Remember the build that has a different colour when you pass or shoot the ball as we saw before?
Yeah this shit is like an Alpha build
I’m also wondering if the press leak build is also different. Because if it’s the same, they’d play as bad as now. Maybe even worst
Some fantastic goals in there
I'm devastated, my days of playing a football game are finished!!! Been playing PES for over 20 years and this is what they dish up. I refuse to play FIFA because it is too arcade for me. Just can't believe this shit.
