There are those who think that the only problem that Pes does not succeed are licenses. It seems to me that they do not remember or do not know the time when Pes was in strong competition with Fifa in the 2000s, in which Pes literally did not have the names of the players. Also the time that Pes had the most important licenses for 2015 and 2016, but sales kept falling and Fifa's only increased. It is more than clear that the problem is not the licenses.
Having Played both the 21 games now. Fifa 21 is a ridiculously fast sim football game which gives too much advantage to fast pacy winged players. PES gameplay more balanced.
When I lose online in PES I don't feel mad because I can feel it's mostly me making some mistake or my opponent doing something amazing. In Fifa it's just blatant scripting and my players not responding to the input and I got furious everytime. I choose to play PES mostly for my mental wellbeing.

PES gameplay is actually really enjoyable and good compared to FIFA like how the hell can players run that fast in FIFA like the defenders just stand there doing nothing its really frustrating at times... and the graphics and gameplay is more realistic in PES this year and that's what counts. They just need to work on getting more team licenses. FIFA to me is like a run to score type of game and football generally isn't supposed to be like that. If you have been paying attention you would notice that gameplay wise FIFA hasn't improved that much since 2017 almost identical style of gameplay with some new tweaked features that EA made you to believe even the game physics isn't realistic. Damn will always be a PES fan😎
pes is so much more realistic, look at the defense you got, third times more options then with fifa... i play both (every fcking year i bought both games) its fun with fifa to play the 3de bundesliga with much alternatives of stadiums but, the game is scripted and they put very less effort in the game! they make so much money every year they could develop a perfect game but they won't. they know people gonna buy it anyways because of the licenses they got, and when they got a bad production they just at something simple like banners in stadium to show the a different game.. i hope everything will change in PES 2022 Because they cooperate with Unreal Engine. they just need the license and its the best football sim!!

I just started playing PES 21 on series x. First time buying PES. For just being a season update it's not bad at all. I agree with some people on here that if PES had more licenses it would take a massive chunk of the FIFA fans. The gameplay is way better. Fifa feels like ping-pong. I expect big upgrades with PES22 . Right now FIFA for ultimate team PES everything else.

I have never enjoyed a career mode more than in pes 2021. Every game is a challenge. Realistic gameplay as well. First season i finished 14th, and promoted after that to pl. I have always found fifa to easy, to the point i wouldnt actually be very happy if i won too much.
I beg you please try PES 2021 career mode you will be amazed. The press interview as coach, player signing cutscenes, commentary on season storylines in game are sooooooo goood. You will not regret I promise you. It actually will make you mad that fifa was allowed to make such a bad career mode.

I have not played PES 2021 but 2020 and one thing that ANNOY ME to hell in PES is the poor choise when passing the ball... How many times I was attacking and one of my teamate was clear with no defender on him, not offside and has a clear path to the goal, I aim at him, press the pass button... and the player pass the ball to someone who was on the back... Like the computer cheated. It happened way too often I stopped playing due to frustration. You build the action, do one touch pass, the opponent keep running like headless chicken... You reach the oposite surface, one of your player is clear, you pass the ball at him and it is at this moment the game decide to pass the ball to someone else in a bad position so you lose your momentum, the attack is broken. Sometimes it goes as far as passing the ball back to your own half while you are not far from the oponent goal... I just stopped playing (was on super star dificulty)
imagine a season update vs a full release on both gen consoles and fifa is losing? the only reason fifa might be ahead is because of their licenses and popularity and income (which influences production and end product) hope pes never changes when they become as rich and has as much licensing

I don’t think the attacking on pes is bad but I played pes for 2 months, and the most effective way for me was to just hold A and make the Ai defend for me.

I played both Fifa and Pes. I came out of the experience having a feeling of Fifa being more “scripted”, less fun. It felt like it favours one team over the other. Pes might not be as polished, but it felt pretty realistic, like anything could happen. Which made it so much more fun.
I have played PES for a long time since 2010 & till now when it doesn't have UEFA license anymore, but one thing i can say is that, FIFA makes the best out of Licensing. PES has exclusive license of clubs like Barcelona, Juventus,Bayern,Boca Juniors etc. but still they cannot make attractive ad.boards, advertisement,score boards etc, also with UEFA it was same since 2010. When it comes to Licensing FIFA is the King that's why clubs like BVB, Liverpool,Fulham etc left Konami.
as a fifa player i would say pes is the better football game in their gameplay and how real the ball is but there’s one thing that make me stay with fifa is their licensed club. they dont have much club.

Efootball is missing a lot i mean a lot of game modes, they have only 9 teams which is too bad , they look exactly like their mobile game in every way except graphics, most of the team have AI generated players, it seriously can't be compared to fifa, fifa majorly surpasses it in a lot of things 😢😢
I use to play pes then went to fifa 18 19 & 20. Bought fifa 21 which I think is rubbish because you can't defend & the players are sliding around like playing on ice, terrible game. Bought pes21 omg what a game excellent 👏. My only problem with pes is I wish they had sky bet league 1 & 2 & Mexican league. Plus be able to put different teams in different leagues. Pes 21 is miles better than fifa 21.
I've been playing FIFA since FIFA 98 and this is the year when I finally had enough and uninstalled FIFA 21. The game is an insult to its players. FIFA 21 plays you more than you get to play it.
FIFA isn't great but PES isn't that better, online gameplay on PES is the most unstable experience in any sports game I've played. Complete shite. Let's not forget FIFA is arcade while PES is meant to be more realistic. Fundamentally different

I play PES for 15 years now. Yesterday I tried fifa again after many years, omg what a waste of time. There is no way to compare this two games. It is like comparing bycicle with a motorcycle.
If pes had all the licenses it would have killed and buried fifa years ago.....the player movement with and off the ball is point accurate in pes and it almost feels like the real match the commentary and all the player reactions after missing a chance everything is just point perfect in pes and you can literally experience all the pros and cons of each player in pes...while in fifa everything fucking thing is the same...the player runs with the ball like flash...u can literally do anything in fifa without any physics...and the graphics? Pes always has been way better than fifa in graphics

Listen, it is more fun to play fifa for the arcadey gameplay, PES is cheaper and more realistic, it's harder for a fifa player to adapt to PES, but a PES player can easily adapt to fifa, in that sense fifa wins.
I dont care how much money EA has and licensing etc, PES looks so much more real in every way. When I see Fifa I already know its fifa because of choppy framerates and exaggerated animations. Looks wise, quite honestly, it's not even that close. PES hands down plays better and seemingly looks better.
One other aspect that FIFA have nailed is the match day atmosphere. PES default chants sound like they were created in a tunnel by a team who have no clue what a real football match sounds like. Mods on PC help a whole lot with that and in some ways surpass FIFA, as you can hear both sets of fans chanting at the same time. FIFA has this weird system of only having the away fans be heard when they score, and it's nearly always the same chant as well.
My boy taking about licenses. He doesn't yet know that PES is the only game in the world with most patches and mod. You can pretty much mod everything from the callnames to scoreboards to pitch to kits to balls to stadiums to trophies to faces to the tattoos.. nowadays, modders are more active and awesome mods for Pes come out everyday. In fact, i am such channel.. :)

When PES 18 came out in 2017, most users could not switch because of their low end pc. Pes 17 is the last Pes game which supports on low end pc. That's why to this day, there are so many users who play PES 17 by installing patches and mods... We get the latest squad updates, faces, tattoopacks, balls, stadiums, pitch, regular realistic face, latest transfers option files including kits, body mods, tifos (which haven't been modded for any other pes version except pes 17), including chants, commentaries... Everything is super realistic!!!

I don’t think the attacking on pes is bad but I played pes for 2 months, and the most effective way for me was to just hold A and make the Ai defend for me.

I have been playing only PES since 2014
I played both Fifa and Pes. I came out of the experience having a feeling of Fifa being more “scripted”, less fun. It felt like it favours one team over the other.
Pes might not be as polished, but it felt pretty realistic, like anything could happen. Which made it so much more fun.

I have played PES for a long time since 2010 & till now when it doesn't have UEFA license anymore, but one thing i can say is that, FIFA makes the best out of Licensing. PES has exclusive license of clubs like Barcelona, Juventus,Bayern,Boca Juniors etc. but still they cannot make attractive ad.boards, advertisement,score boards etc, also with UEFA it was same since 2010. When it comes to Licensing FIFA is the King that's why clubs like BVB, Liverpool,Fulham etc left Konami.

The only thing with FIFA is that they only have license for european league and only a few non European league but PES has the license for a few European leagues and mostly non European leagues

There are those who think that the only problem that Pes does not succeed are licenses. It seems to me that they do not remember or do not know the time when Pes was in strong competition with Fifa in the 2000s, in which Pes literally did not have the names of the players. Also the time that Pes had the most important licenses for 2015 and 2016, but sales kept falling and Fifa's only increased. It is more than clear that the problem is not the licenses.

I use to play pes then went to fifa 18 19 & 20. Bought fifa 21 which I think is rubbish because you can't defend & the players are sliding around like playing on ice, terrible game. Bought pes21 omg what a game excellent 👏. My only problem with pes is I wish they had sky bet league 1 & 2 & Mexican league. Plus be able to put different teams in different leagues. Pes 21 is miles better than fifa 21.

I've been playing FIFA since FIFA 98 and this is the year when I finally had enough and uninstalled FIFA 21. The game is an insult to its players. FIFA 21 plays you more than you get to play it.

If pes had all the licenses it would have killed and buried fifa years ago.....the player movement with and off the ball is point accurate in pes and it almost feels like the real match the commentary and all the player reactions after missing a chance everything is just point perfect in pes and you can literally experience all the pros and cons of each player in pes...while in fifa everything fucking thing is the same...the player runs with the ball like flash...u can literally do anything in fifa without any physics...and the graphics? Pes always has been way better than fifa in graphics

Listen, it is more fun to play fifa for the arcadey gameplay, PES is cheaper and more realistic, it's harder for a fifa player to adapt to PES, but a PES player can easily adapt to fifa, in that sense fifa wins.

I dont care how much money EA has and licensing etc, PES looks so much more real in every way. When I see Fifa I already know its fifa because of choppy framerates and exaggerated animations. Looks wise, quite honestly, it's not even that close. PES hands down plays better and seemingly looks better.

One other aspect that FIFA have nailed is the match day atmosphere. PES default chants sound like they were created in a tunnel by a team who have no clue what a real football match sounds like. Mods on PC help a whole lot with that and in some ways surpass FIFA, as you can hear both sets of fans chanting at the same time. FIFA has this weird system of only having the away fans be heard when they score, and it's nearly always the same chant as well.

My boy taking about licenses. He doesn't yet know that PES is the only game in the world with most patches and mod. You can pretty much mod everything from the callnames to scoreboards to pitch to kits to balls to stadiums to trophies to faces to the tattoos.. nowadays, modders are more active and awesome mods for Pes come out everyday. In fact, i am such channel.. :)

When PES 18 came out in 2017, most users could not switch because of their low end pc. Pes 17 is the last Pes game which supports on low end pc. That's why to this day, there are so many users who play PES 17 by installing patches and mods... We get the latest squad updates, faces, tattoopacks, balls, stadiums, pitch, regular realistic face, latest transfers option files including kits, body mods, tifos (which haven't been modded for any other pes version except pes 17), including chants, commentaries... Everything is super realistic!!!
